She conned him into taking pics of her nude, she took the ones of him unaware. My theory. Whether or not they had sex, who knows. They probably did. She "left" and unbeknownst to Travis, she returned to take the photos of him in the shower. The last one (the one with the haunting look on his face) she has the knife on him, tells him to sit like a good boy, and when he does...whammo, knife to the heart. And that started the masacre. My theory. I wasn't there and only she can tell us how she did it. We all know why. And it wasn't self defense.

(usually a secret, but maybe she thought this time would not be in light of that text days prior)
That is a very good point. Even if Travis hadn't left the house that day or interacted with friends or business associates, there was always the possibility that he would tell his roommates that Jodi was coming over. She couldn't have anyone knowing that Travis was expecting her.

Also, she planned to put her hair in girlie braids. All part of the plan.

I want to see a human reenactment of how we think it happened. Not Jodi's made up version. That would be interesting to see!

The guy on HLN needs to be called by the prosecutor as an expert. He is explaining all the knife wounds in a way people understand.

There is a video on your tube..you can see a computer re-enactment. I would post it here, but I don't pay to use this site.

I am glad HLN is doing a more accurate reenactment soon. The current one is flawed, imho. The stabbing portion has NO struggling by a victim, and also the stabbing is not actual stabbing, it is just someone moving their arm up and down. With actual stabbing, there is resistance from the item being stabbed.... in the case of Travis, his flesh (and perhaps bone) would have given more resistance to the knife than the HLN guy just moving his arm up and down. This would have slowed down the pace somewhat.

If they want an accurate recreation, they need to supply some physical body for the reenactor to stab. Perhaps an animal carcass or some kind of test dummy filled with gel, like they use to recreate the dynamics of gun shot wounds, etc.

I've seen the computer reenactments, I want to see a human reenactment. Like Galanos did on HLN.

I think Jodi’s plan was to kill him in that shower cell. I don’t think she thought he would be capable after a major stab wound to fight back such as he did. People often don’t account for what adrenaline and that fight/flight factor really can do.

With all her pre-planning efforts, I think she thought if she killed him in the shower, she could just wash all the evidence away down the drain. And, if you think about it, it might have worked. All the evidence they found was due to the “mess” the struggle made – the bloody palm print on the wall, the bullet casing, the hair, her blood. If he had died in that stall, the cleanup would have been minimal and easy. There wouldn’t have been blood all over – only washed down the drain. She could have taken the camera or its memory card with her. She would have left no hard evidence that she had been there. Her story would have still looked suspect (the many hours unaccounted for) but it would have been hard to prove.

Things got out of hand for her. He fought back like she never expected. I think that is part of the reason for how gruesome the crime was – I think she was panicked and furiously that it didn’t go as planned and she was doing all she could to take him down. Again, that adrenaline factor can keep people moving long after they should be dead. I think she was furious with him for fighting back just like she was furious at him for every other way that she felt he had wronged her.

Poor Travis. But I am SO glad he fought back so that there was plenty of evidence to show her crime!

This sounds gross and awful...but there is also suction that occurs that makes it hard to extract a knife. Think of if you have ever used a tenderizer on steak, it is hard to pull out. So not only would it have the resistance of going in, but it would take force to pull it back out. No wonder her shoulder has bothered her ever since. Ugh, poor, poor Jodi. NOT.

But as you saw, even working at a frenzy pace, no dummy to drag, it still took too much time. A jury would see that frenzy and overage of time. And that's not even including his body in the hallway.

I agree, I think this is what happened and why.

If she had been able to kill him in the shower with the knife only, she could have washed away all the evidence, and if she took the camera (or card), it would have been extremely difficult to tie her to the murder. It was actually a pretty clever plan, which might have worked had Travis not fought back and struggled as much as he did.

She talked about going to see "Bodies: The Exhibition" at the Getty in L.A. with TA. Was in the interrogation tape that she told Flores about about it or was it when she testilied?

JMO, she studied up and knew where she wanted to stab him first to try and disable him as soon as possible.

She also said she knew not to "tell anything". Thus far she hasn't said a word about the stabbing. Nothing.

Very true. And wasn't there testimony that he had to have lain for a least a little while in the spot where his throat was slashed, because of the blood volume in that spot that had soaked into the carpet?

Yes, that is a very good point about the suction. So add even more time for that.
