How perverse is it to ignore the fact that Travis Alexander is the only individual who has a legitimate claim to self-defense--but of course he is not here to make that claim because he didn't defend himself very successfully. He is in his grave. Then the aggressor who put him in that grave, is stepping in to hijack Travis's claim. Lewis Carroll was right. He describes that courtroom in Phoenix perfectly. It is Wonderland as he foresaw it.

Just wanted to repost Travis' responses to Chad's razzing on Myspace.
I don't really blame Chad. Travis was his very good friend. He never meant to do or say something that would hurt Travis. At the time he made the comment, they were just two dorky guys making joke insults to one another on social media. There is no way Chad could know that soon Travis would be slaughtered, and his murderer would claim he was a pedophile.Isn't that sweet! What a great friend this Chad is. (For example: yesterday Sneakers said I was a deviant.... or something along that line..... and I responded that it takes one to know one. We were both joking, obviously. We knew it. Yes, I wish Travis could defend himself, but now that falls to Juan. It's sad that Jodi gets the chance to tell her side (cough: lies), but Travis doesn't. She gets to be humanified (I like making up words...) by taking the stand and Travis doesn't.

I have a pretty twisted sense if humor myself, but this is something I just don't find cool at all. Maybe being the mom of a little boy who was molested by a family friend at 3 years old, I have a heightened sensitivity. But then again there are certain things that are taboo for a reason.
