Thanks for the welcome, Justice11. Yeah I decided to just make a screenname to reflect the strangeness that seems to be Pre-Paid Legal. Sketchy outfit. Cult-like deal for people with weak minds like that Gus character, Travis & Jodi. IMO.

Interesting case/trial, interesting forum to read what others think. I just want this long-winded crap that Nurmi & Arias spew to FINALLY end so that an aggressive cross-exam can get underway. I find Jodi repugnant, stupid and worthless and although I think Travis was an idiot, too, I want him to get the justice that he deserves.

sooo if he was guilty and swiped hi hard drive clean threw out everything in his house that would prove anything - even though i don't think he knew he was gonna be murdered and needed to (which by the way if he did that to the hard drive i think the defense specialist might of brought that up) wouldn't he have removed that comment also if it was really accusitory?

So here is a somewhat more rational explanation of why I think the pedo thing is bullshit.

If she's the only one in the whole entire world who knew about his shameful secret, it seems like he would be a bit more accommodating of her feelings. Her tales of woe and abuse would suggest that this was not the case. If what she said was true, she could have brought his empire (dramatic word, but you know what I mean) crashing down and he would have ended up in jail, thus giving him a pretty damn good reason to walk on eggshells around her and be super nice. Pay her off. Give her the car instead of selling it to her. Anything to keep her happy.

Both of them were capable of, and did, say harsh, cruel to things to each other. Yet as nasty and spiteful as their exchanges were, not a single mention of the pedo shit (or at least that we know of). She said everything she could to hurt him (and yes, possibly vice versa) but she never threatened to go public with this? Until now, when she wants a lesser charge and her bitch ass is up against the death penalty?

This woman is angry. She was scorned and rejected and she is harboring some catastrophic hatred, the kind that you need to fucking near-decapitate someone after shooting and butchering them. That's not martyrdom or grief or repression or low self-esteem. That is pure hate. She knows that she WILL die in jail, whether of old age or by lethal injection, and she blames that on Travis because he didn't go along with what she wanted. She has to miss out on all her funsies, but Travis is dead, he's off the hook and his problems are no more. The only thing left to do is destroy his name and cause pain to his family because they're still alive, and they're still free.

There is no love, no remorse, and it is absolutely chilling.

Not saying it's true, thought it was interesting tho. To be honest with you i think a lot of pervs are afraid to download child porn, afraid of getting caught with it. Unless they are hard core pros. Maybe he did not get into the hard core stuff, yet. Hell, i like to watch some soft porn at times, but i don't have any porn material, movies or searches on any of my computers or phones.

If it is true what Jodie says, Travis would had erased all of it. Travis could had been scared to even leave it on the computer for too long, he could had removed all evidence. There was once a time before the computers, cell phones... When pedophiles had only pictures and magazines to look at, i am sure it was easy to destroy evidence so their wives... would not find it. I am saying just because they did not find any evidence, it does not mean it is not true. Even if it were true, there is still no excuse for murder.

IMO it doesn't really matter if (which I highly doubt) he was a pedo. I don't even know why this is a point of contention. We have all said this many a time...SHE CONFESSED! If he had threatened to hurt her or kill her the day she claims she saw him and the she was in fear and killed him...one gun shot, one stab wound..she may have had a defense.

If Travis had a predilection for children -- which I don't believe at all -- Jodi would have used that to her advantage. She would have blackmailed him into marriage, among other things, to keep the terrible secret.

Jodi is nothing if not a manipulator. If she had found a way to hook Travis -- even via dirty blackmail -- she would've taken it. She had nothing on him, so because she couldn't have him, no one else could.
