I think it was a "production" a thrill killing in a way so she had a plot in her head. But, I like Dr. Drew's guest's theory.. she brought the gun from Yreka.. it jammed after the first shot (like the ninja gun in her 2nd version) and she had to finish the job with a knife. Shot him first, he coughs blood at the sink, makes it down the hallway as she's getting the knife, she catches him at the end of the hallway and finishes him off... takes him to the shower to rinse off blood evidence... then goes into cover-up mode.

Hopefully Jodi will write a book OJ style years down the line and tell us what actually happened. I think it will be titled, Out of the Fog and on Death Row...The Real Truth.

His family, friends and former girlfriends believe the opposite.

During the "phone sex tape" Stabby made, he happens to mention that he had never even masturbated before he met her.

Also, what would POSSIBLY be the point of his claiming never to have even masturbated before he met her (during phone sex), if it wasn't true? It was not part of some fantasy they were acting out or anything. I think he just made a spontaneous utterance when he realized "here I am having phone sex and masturbating and describing kinky fantasies, and before I met you, babe, I had never even masturbated before! And, I can see the lure of sex that drew him to let Jodi into his life. But, why keep her there? I am pretty certain he could have found another willing party to continue his secret life with....someone playing with all her marbles.

Agreed that the power of sex is most undeniable to a lot of men. I only question the lack of previous experience. He seemed to be pretty sex savvy , using the term creampie etc, to not have some experience. Is it the liars word that he was a virgin? I just don't see it. It seems to me he was a secret keeper so I doubt he would be bragging about conquests.

This is most definitely not a judgement on him but more a question of if that is just another one of her lies.

With this scenario, she absolutely had to finish him off. He didn't just fall over and die like in the movies. People say how much damage is done in his head, but it's known it's not necessarily true. Just this week someone had a scewdriver pulled out of his forehead(he fell on it), I also remember a case of someone driving by a shooting range, felt a sting from a stray bullet, touched the back of her head and felt some blood on her hand. X-rays revealed the bullet.

He is accustomed to close family members who were users and manipulative cons. Whether it be victims/villain or saint/sinner dichotomy, he adapted to these themes. So for him to let Jodie into the house by invitation or surprise would not be outrageous. He was habituated to crazy happenings. His formative years was spent in chaos. He was attracted to Jodie cause she was familiar.

Possible, but remember, he spent 21 months with her (in one form or another). He was a smart guy and a fast learner (as evidenced by his success in life). He could certainly have picked up sexual buzz words, ideas, etc after spending 21 months with someone who was primarily using constant sex to try and reel him in and trap him.

I'm definitely of the belief that she stabbed him in the chest in the shower first, and he somehow made it to the sink, coughing up blood. I believe she started to stab him in the back as he was coughing up blood over the sink, but I don't know what happened from there. The windows are to the left of the sink if you are facing the mirror. The linen closet to the right of the sink.

I agree. He had the appearance of the kind of person that makes others think "that guy has it all!", but inside, I'll bet he had major insecurities. And Jodi was willing to play whatever role it took, in order to gain control and own Travis. When he outgrew her, she refused to let him get away without paying the ultimate price.

When do you think she shot him? In the shower? At the sink? I believe that ME testified that the bullet traveled in a downwards path, because it entered his forehead/temple and lodged in his cheek. So I'm not sure it's viable that the had so much damage to him from the gunshot wound to the front part of the brain, and was able to stagger around that much.

It could be that Jodi intended to shoot Travis several times to make it look like there was more than one attacker (hence her story about two ninjas), and that the gun simply jammed and/or she was too stupid to figure out how to fire it again for that plan to work.

On the sex tape, Travis struck me as quite inexperienced about things. He sounded bored half the time, for one thing. And he sounded awkard when he was trying to say dirty things. Not to mention that she did a lot of the leading into the sex, and encouraged him in many ways. I suspect that the dirty sex talk was done for Jodi, not Travis. And I bet he didn't know it was being recorded. If he wanted a sex tape, he probably wouldn't waste time talking about trivial things, other people, and I don't think he'd start singing.

But I could be wrong. Maybe all that stuff really got him off. :p
