She only put stuff in the washer that had her DNA on it. I don't believe she put sheets in the washer/dryer. I think TA stripped his bed while she was showering/getting dressed.

It is about a clean closet because the resting shelf...and yes, I know what that is, would flip of the pegs, leaving a mess in the closet. Which Alexander wouldnt allow because of how neat and organized it all was.
Ive dont remember seeing anything else that makes that shelf important., If I missed it I apologize.
She had time to clean up a bit, the shelf that she would have stepped on was not a huge shelf.. would have held a few articles of clothing.. maybe a couple pairs of shoes. I apologize if I am wrong, but I wouldnt think that would take much time at all to clean up.

This is why the closet is a big issue. Because Jodi claims that is where Travis kept his gun. It is the state's belief that Jodi came to Travis' house WITH a gun. There is NO proof that Travis ever had a gun. Jodi claims that in this heated running battle, she ran into the closet, climbed up on the shelf, grabbed the gun off of the top shelf. If that were true, the closet would show signs of that happening. Jodi was a bloody mess when she was "cleaning" up. She would never have been able to go into the closet and clean up the clothes. Why would she even have bothered?

The clean closet is PROOF that Jodi did not go into there and get the gun off of the top shelf. She is lying about that because it shows premeditation BIG time that she brought the gun with her.

Yeah, Nurmi claimed in an objection that she used the stool...but I remember her mentioning using the stool when she was dusting and discovered it, but just stepped on the shelf and grabbed the gun during the murder. Am I remembering this part wrong?

I wasn't believing or not believing or taking sides, just trying to look at the evidence in a nonbiased way (sort of playing the juror role.) Really didn't think Martinez has proven premeditation until today.

We'll have to wait and see what the jury thinks, in the end their opinion is the only one that matters.

Personally, I think it is more likely the shelf/pins would have broken had she stepped on the edge of the shelf, but broken or flipped, there is no evidence either happened.

I think, what strikes me the most, is that nothing was found out of place in that closet. It looks immaculate, right down to how evenly his shoes are spaced, how precisely his jeans are hanging in the back, etc. The rest of the bathroom and bathroom was a mess. That has me believing neither of them ever even passed through that closet during this murder, nevermind stopping and searching for a gun. I don't believe she ever took a gun from the closet. I believe she brought her own weapons to the scene, and had them poised to attack when she did. She ambushed him, swiftly and most effectively. At least, that is what I am taking from this whole closet/gun thing. XO

From what I understand, there was never any blood at all found in the closet. After stabbing him 29 times, slashing his throat, leaving a bloody fingerprint on the bathroom hallway wall, a bloody shoe print in the bathroom, and a hair also found in some blood on the wall, this says to me that she was NEVER in the closet. To get a gun, to run away from him as he was chasing her, nothing.
