Yes I agree to, thanks so much for taking the time to find it and post for me. Love your words.......LOL lying soul destroying skank....so so true!

Can someone clarify this for me? Did Arias buy the case gan with cash??

If so, a caller on Jane Velz-Mitchell, called that specific Wallmart and asked about return policy. First, they told her that a receipt was required for a return. And secondly, they would mark return through the item.

I am not sure the store would refund in cash, if she used a credit card. I don't know..

They do sometimes refund cash if it is a debit card, at least my Walmart has. They ALWAYS mark through the item to show that it was returned. Nowadays they actually take your id as well and notate it in the computer with the receipt number. I also saw in a post 1,000 or so pages back someone said that they do not take Kerosene cans back. IDK if that is true or not.

It's funny, the Jodi supporters complain about Travis' family, and want them thrown out. If anyone does anything that can interfere with the verdict, she can charge them with contempt of court. This judge has been so lenient most of the time, at least it shows shes impartial, which is most important in being a judge. Mostly I see them laughing, it is during sidebars.

Some regular spectators have been asked to leave, cell phones going off and such.

Thank you! I am afraid to reply thinking I might go into a serial post....:(

Does anyone know if Arias can watch herself on TV? Can her fellow inmates watch her through the day? Does Arias have any Internet access, in court, for example?

I am very curious now of the taped sex call. Someone is coming out saying it was a deliberate call Arais ( I really have a very difficult time calling her Jody) made as the initiation in her plot to murder Travis. I have missed some of the details on why this is now being brought out.

OH! And an attorney did say tonight, the way Martinez is calling her out on all her lies - well, it landed one of the woman on death row with the same technique. Course, we know it is a different jury. I feel the jury really wants to believe her. Possibly because she does not look like a killer.

So, is it a gas can she said she returned or a kerosene can?? When did she buy the kerosene can. I am not asking WHY..cause we know.

I do not think so as it came out in cross, so it would be rebuttal, and I think you can add stuff based on testimony... I understand that filing motions is discussed first then filed, so I am sure defense and court knew it was on the way...

Me too. When that caller on JVM said she did her "detective work" and called the Walmart in Salinas and asked them about returns - I thought, she's probably one of hundreds of people calling about that since Thursday

Hi, Denn, Jodi actually bought a kerosene can initially. In the receipt, I believe it says KERO or something. Those are blue cans. Gas cans are red. There was a discussion about this many pages ago because I was curious if one could use a kerosene can for gas. It's possible Jodi didn't know the difference when she bought the can, or Walmart was out of gas cans and only had kerosene cans.

KARLITAHere's the other (first) post about the gas cans. This was the climactic moment of this trial for me. I have to qualify that by saying so far 'cause it may not be over yet.

    PART 2
Jodi's HUGE FREUDIAN SLIPS while being questioned by the Jury! QUESTIONS 77-220(ish)
(Question numbers courtesy of bermstalker - Thank You)
(Links courtesy of Tawnidilly - Thank You)

Q109: "If you dropped the camera on the bath-mat, how is it that it rolled all the way in front of the bath-tub?"

JA Answer: "On the diagram it looks very far but it's really a distance of this. You have the shower, there's a very thin wall, then the bath-tub begins right here, so wherever I WAS STANDING here (Oops Jodi! Were you crouching, kneeling, or standing? Have you made up your mind?), it didn't have to roll it just bounced right off the mat.....blah.....blah.....crap!"

Q122: "Were you mad at Travis while you were stabbing him?"

    (MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FREUDIAN SLIP!!!)

JA Answer: "I DON'T RECALL FEAR BEING A PROMINENT.......I MEAN I'M SORRY.......I DON'T RECALL ANGER BEING A PROMINENT.....[Juan: "I'm going to object. She previously indicated she doesn't remember! If she does remember, she should tell us!"] "I REMEMBER EMOTIONS JUDGE!" (Oops! WTF) [Judge Sherry: "Alright, the question was - Were you mad at Travis while you were stabbing him?"] "I don't remember being angry that day, I remember being terrified." [Juan: "Objection. Non-responsive. The question was 'while you were stabbing him.'"] [Judge Sherry: "Sus....I'm going to sustain the objection. I think you've answered the question."]

Q123: "How is that you remember so many of your sexual encounters, including your ex-boyfriends, but you do not remember stabbing Travis and dragging his body?"

JA Answer: "Well......as far as what happened on June 4th, I don't know how the mind works necessarily, but I know that that was.....the most traumatic experience of my life. And, outside of those blanks and the ones that I've mentioned as far as, that were alcohol related when I was a teenager...um...I DON'T HAVE OTHER BLACKOUTS THAT I CAN RECALL (Oops Jodi back peddle, quick, quick! Remember you blackout when big bad men shout at you and grill you!!!) just when memories get foggy when I get stressful I think actually that I have a very good memory! I can remember tons of things! But when I'm under a stressful situation, it's as if my mind......blah.....blah......foggy......scrambled eggs......I feel I am really a computer.......I love sound waves......no hablo Ingl?s se?oras y se?ores........is that enough already? Did you buy any of that?"

Q193: "Was Travis sitting down when you dropped the camera?"

Now, I am even more confused. Martinez asked her last Thursday when she returned the gas can? He said - "would it surprise you to know they are not showing a cash return on that day." So, she bought a gas can and kerosene? Or a kerosene thinking it was a gas can. Because if so, why would Martinez ask about a gas can?

I am trying to catch up on previous posts. But the thread is really building.

The gun is important to the felony, she either stole the gun from her grandfather or she stole it from Travis. Did you hear Martinez say that after the first stab wound, Jodi was no longer an invited guest, but she was now involved in burglary? Felony murder is a murder committed during the course of a felony. Look it up, it gets interesting.
That is extremely interesting regarding the various ways states stage convictions.

Is investigative knowledge something that has to be shared in discovery? Or is it just the documented proof? Martinez had those bank statements with the Debit charge of $19.64 but he did not directly connect that transaction to the purchase of gasoline. All he did was some on-the-spot arithmetic showing that $19.64 divided by $3.859 per gal. = 5.09 gallons of gas. Now he's going to prove it with the vendor's copy of the transaction receipt. Maybe he just wanted to lay the trap for Jodi, which he did, and come up with the receipts from Tesoro and WalMart after she had an opportunity to screw herself up from the stand.

My game changing moment was that point in the trial. I posted about it earlier, so I won't repeat myself.
can you put 5.09 gallons in a 5 gallon can?

I don't believe it matters that it was a kerosene can she purchased. She bought it to be used as a gas can...probably because it's all that Walmart carried at the time. I don't know.

I am thinking that Martinez started to do some math, after one of the jurors asked specifically about the volume of gas...it was a very mathematical question. Maybe that got him to start re-thinking the gas and the cans. Just a thought.

    I need some help please?

I am responding to one post, and somehow these are starting to accumulate at the end of the thread.

I do not see how to directly respond to a blue box. Course, I do not pay to use this site. Maybe that is the problem for me. No wonder someone thinks I am a serial poster. I don't mean to be...

Thank you for any and all help on how to respond. I see no box to uncheck at the upper right corner.
