I originally thought the same as you but after studying that pic and seeing no rust, mildrew or anything else along the edge of his shower stall that it is something coming from the opposite direction and if you draw a pretty straight line it leads to the center area of the pic. One other thing about that pic, if you enlarge it, you'll see that water is coming towards the drain on the right but no fresh drops on his waist area or thighs, as if someone is standing there and blocking it from coming across the entire shower.

Oh, and the shower door is clearly open in the shaving pic, I'll get a better close up of it and enlarge it.

the forensic camera guy for the LE said that since all the pics were retrieved from thumbnails that there was a lot of distortion in the blow ups for court - like all those weird shadows - since they saw the originals b4 they were blown up for court - i think martinez woulda pointed out if he was already bleeding

All good points, but none proves premeditation and premed. is what this case is all about (no premed.=murder 2= no DP, no LWOP). Anything done after the fact as coverup attempts is irrelevant IMO. However I think she will be charged w/perjury (no DP or LWOP for that unfortunately).

So you think Jodi won't be punished for her crime of Murder but just for lying? The trial isn't over yet. People keep forgetting that I think because all of Martinez' points have not been completely made. which is what the rebuttal phase is for. To rebut her claim of self defense - which means he has to prove that she made up the pedo and the abuse stories. which is why he is bringing up the magazine messages to MM.
He is also discussing the gas cans which goes straight into premeditation. He has proof that jodi never returned the 3rd gas can and so she needed all 3 gas cans to make it all the way through AZ undetected.
And he is proving her to have lied to the jury on the stand. so the jury can then decide if they want to disregard parts of or all of her testimony.

I am hoping she gets the death penalty. Not because I think they'd give her the needle any time soon, but because sh deserves to sit in her tiny cell, with zero privacy and none of the material things she thought Travis would give her if only he loved her, day after day after day, with nothing to look forward to and nothing expected to change. Eventually the money people are trying to raise for her "commissary" account will dry up, and the public will forget about her. Jodi will no longer be "special" and the only thing Jodi will have to think about is her time outside the bars - that time she dropped by to see Travis and happened to bring a .25 caliber gun and a lethal slashing knife with her.

Thanks Ian1 for info. I have been following that case too. Another example of the crime being caught on film and really no way to deny it. It's kinda messed up that he won't face DP. LM is a person who won't mind prison. You can't really get raped in prison if you are willing now can you...

Another little irony/coincidence is that Luka started out in Scarborough, Ontario, (then a suburb of Toronto but now amalgamated into the bigger city). That's where Paul Bernardo started out and where he met the dear 17-year old Karla Homolka who was visiting from St. Catharines, Ontario to attend a pet-food/care convention. If you want to know some of the little details that don't get reported in the press, PM me. Bye the way, I was travelling and in Berlin when they caught Luka there. Yea! No death penalty in Canada! Last two guys hanged in the country, Turpin and Lucas(?) back to back. They were clients of a sort of friend of mine, a criminal lawyer named Ross MacKay. It broke him and it took years for him to recover. He returned to practice for a few years then he died. I've been around too long.

Looks to me like that area in the corner is the same color as the metal if you follow the metal down. This could be light bouncing off of his body and reflecting his skin tone onto the metal. Reflective light and colors can show up anywhere depending on the light source. I'm not convinced that he's sustained any injuries at this point. His body posture, the way his arms are resting, and the fact that there is no diluted blood anywhere else leads me to believe that this pic was taken before the stabbing. If she started stabbing him in the back before this pic was taken, I think we'd see Travis in a very different body posture and at least a fair amount of blood in the water runoff. Plus, if Martinez thought there was blood in this photo, he would have been screaming this from the courthouse roof. It would be proof positive that she stabbed him first. I think our eyes start to matrix things that aren't there when we look at these photos long enough. I'm not a photo-forensic specialist, but photo-forensic specialists have studied these photos extensively. I would wager that something would have been brought out in court about this by now.

There actually was a book put out by some perv for peds to learn how to "groom" children. There was a big stink about it cuz he was trying to sell it on very well known mail order website.

If you want to read some top notch reporting on the Luka Magnotta case/trial, go to www.nationalpost.ca and read Christie Blatchford. She's in Montreal covering the trial and is probably the best crime/courtroom reporter on the continent. All of her stuff going back years is top-notch. She's covered all the big ones in Canada--and some of them were big. We could only hope that she could have covered Jodi Arias, but it wasn't in the cards.

Well said. Thank you. I'm not sure why so many feel the need to find things in photos that have been around for 4 1/2 years and studied extensively by professionals since that time. Also these are photos of photos of thumbnails. We have only the screenshots of what was shown in court, that have light glares, pens pointing at things, other fingers (martinez mostly).
I admit I originally brought up the reflection in Travis' eye - early on in the trial. But I didn't zoom in on it and try to make out a face or weapons, etc. I could just see that there was someone reflected in his right eye.

I'm certain it's been noticed (and scrutinized) by the professionals, I think it may be something that could come up in rebuttal and hadn't seen anyone commenting on that area.
