Not rust, it covers both the door edge and the shower stall, the only other pic I could find showing that area with the door open was in the shaving pic, I have no idea the date that pic was taken but you can't see anything there then, but mostly his fastidiousness with his housekeeping leads me to believe that is blood flying from the very first knife wound, probably to the left side of his neck. You can see blood in that area of the shower door/stall, and also look at the vinyl on the bottom of the door, all bent, Flores' report said when he was discovered the shower door was open, so that edge did not get bent by pressing against his body. Look at all the blood on the wall behind the shower door.
I think he fell to his knees after getting out of the stall, right shoulder blade stabs and back of head maybe, she gets him against that wall and stabs more on his chest/belly, he get over to the sink (her with more back stabbing, literally, probably the center deep wounds) and then down the hall and he either slid down on his bottom and she pushed him over or he fell over, she cut his throat, got the sheet or duvet cover and rolled him onto that (2nd accidental pic) and pulled him down the hall (3rd accidental pic, then shot him and left him outside the shower while she showered and then put him in. She probably figured she had to make sure he wouldn't get up while she was cleaning herself up so shot him to be sure.
One other possibility I've thought of to account for the water on the floor,she could have propped him against the open shower door (accounting for its being bent) while showering, there's lots of blood on the floor right there and if the things he had hanging on the shower neck (scrubby, whatever) fell during the initial struggle and blocked the drain, water would have flown onto the floor, it's not a deep stall. I do think the drain getting blocked would account for so much water that it flowed under the bedroom carpet end, maybe she did it intentionally when doing it with the cup took too long. Did they ever test the paint above the shwoer stall for blood?
did she say these supposed pics were of boys or did she specifically say they were "naked (or barely dressed) boys"?
the reason i ask is for all we know, he had pics of himself as a young boy, and was looking at them earlier, or had them out for whatever reason and just decided to relieve himself. totally unrelated to the pics.

The first picture where you see discoloration is before she stabbed him. The shower door is open and where the discoloration is is probably where the bottom hinge is.
The picture linked above is after she he was dead the blood is clearly visible below the lip of the shower. She dragged him along the floor and in maneuvering him the shower blood was deposited on the baseboards and the lip of the shower. His shaving picture doesn't show the area between the shower door and where it hinges onto the shower.

The forged pedo/abuse letters weren't even photocopies ~ according to court records they were electronically received by Stabby and/or defense team. Stabby refused to say who sent them. Most people think it was Matt McCartney was the one who created them.
She was acting as her own attorney when she tried to get the letters admitted. Once she realized that letters would not be accepted as evidence and she admitted she was in over her head then court reappointed her attorneys.
Sandra Arias tried to sell the letters to National Enquirer AFTER the trial started.

Nothing in that corner then. I don't think he'd allow rust or mildew anywhere in his home, and that splotch has velocity and is reddish, not orange/brown.
My heart has always gone out to the Alexander family. From what I have read they have all had alot to deal with in their lifetimes and to have be faced with such a horrible circumstance is beyond comprehension unless you have lived it yourself. The only thing I can do is try to empathize as a sister, mother, aunt, or daughter. I can't say for sure that I would be able to exhibit the same grace and dignity that the Alexander family has displayed during the whole horrible time. Whatever is decided in the end I hope that it will be a decision that will bring them some small degree of comfort though however small.

In geographic areas where it is hot and humid rust and/or mildew stains can form quickly. It's difficult to see/tell exactly what that is but, jmo, it's not blood.

I originally thought the same as you but after studying that pic and seeing no rust, mildrew or anything else along the edge of his shower stall that it is something coming from the opposite direction and if you draw a pretty straight line it leads to the center area of the pic. One other thing about that pic, if you enlarge it, you'll see that water is coming towards the drain on the right but no fresh drops on his waist area or thighs, as if someone is standing there and blocking it from coming across the entire shower.
Oh, and the shower door is clearly open in the shaving pic, I'll get a better close up of it and enlarge it.
