This is so uncanny, as I really felt like each eye was saying something different. It shocked me to see the mirror image of the left eye; it was the eye showing fear. The eyebrow on the right was lowered; to me, it seemed sad.

I agree....I have always thought that he is seeing her pointing a gun at him, or knife, in this shot. His eyebrows, eyes, mouth....this is not a relaxed expression. He looks stunned.

I bet that shocked the hell out of her!! Course, she has no feelings. She cannot feel pain, fear, or love. She is void inside. The jurors cannot understand it, nor can most people. What makes a sociopath? She lacks remorse and believes she is smarter than any of these clowns. I hope Martinez is motivated to get her. He may not have come up against someone as slippery as she is on the stand.

Did you see the eye series?? Where they made images of him with two right eyes and two left eyes. It was haunting to me of that left eye. I think this was on web slueths and why the person who has that site closed the thread. People were taking things off it.

Yes, she was questioned. She testified that she was afraid to run out of gas in the desert, which is why she borrowed the cans.

HA! We know this is a lie. But, Martinez needs more than gas cans to prove premeditation, because this could seem plausible to some jurors - she was traveling at night. What adds to the complete picture is many other factors that could tie into premeditation. The turning off of the cell, the changing of the hair, the gas cans. She also lied about how far she was going when she rented the car. So - all of it is circumstantial with respect to premeditation. They obviously cannot prove whose gun it was, even though we all know. It cannot be assumed by the jurors. Anything that happened thereafter, would not be considered premeditated.

If Martinez can tie them all together and get the jurors to believe him, that is the key. I do believe he thought he had it in the bag with just these things and wished he had really hammered her more on her lies. He was jumping all over the place.

The duct tape found at the scene is definitely a mystery and hopefully is explored more in the coming days/weeks. I believe it was speculated here or somewhere else that she possibly taped the knife to her body.

odi is not a victim of domestic violence. Jodi is the abuser. Jodi tried to eliminate all her competition by making Travis out to be a womanizer, a beater, a pervert, the whole thing. Isolate and control. Nobody would want him. She tried to isolate him from his friends, family and church. This all through sex. Some women use food.

I believe that Jodi is also a stone stepper. She climbed up all the loser stones to get to the top stone, Travis. She gave up a relationship and house for him, then he dumped her. The commitment that Jodi made was for life. So she felt that Travis should have done the same thing.

I think he is going with this: if it was as bad a cut and he thinks, she would have reported it to the manager. A juror asked something about worker's compensation report. She blabbed on and on about how the place she worked was so small, they were not a part of WCC. My boyfriend is an attorney. So, she had no CLUE what she was saying about her employer not having workers' comp. Most places are required by law to pay to have it for their employees if they get injured. She is so full of shit. Talked out of her mouth and spewed more BS as if she was smarter than anyone in that room.

oh, that one, sorry that one is not mine. No offense to the creator, but they have errors in that one, Juan would catch them and discard it I would think. I don't think the court would allow something like that, that is only suggestive of multiple theories. Plus if you study some of Juan's other cases, he is a theory man, not a multiple theory man. He creates one picture for a jury, makes perfect sense since why would he want to offer more that risks only adding confusion for a jury to ponder. But, he is also a visual aid kind of guy, he tends to favor those diagrams he does. I wouldn't be surprised if in the end we do see something like the stand alone collage though.

HONESTLY - that photo and the one with Travis sitting, has totally bothered me. I cannot place my finger on it. I don't think she had a gun pointed at him. If someone pointed a gun at me, I think my eyes would get very big and my mouth drop open. I think she was trying to get him into a position where she could stab him. I do believe she had it all worked out in her mind before she got there. She was doing it on the long drive. Gun was last resort due to the type of caliber and too close to the stealing from her Gparent's home.

Juan Martinez still has the rest of his cross of Stabby to complete, the two defense expert witnesses to cross and then his rebuttal case to put on.

No way Martinez says in open court in front of jury that Salinas Wal-Mart has no record of return of gas can for that entire day without being able to back it up. Willing to bet at this point we will see a Rep from Tesoro testify that third purchase was gas.

Also willing to bet that defense does NOT call Matt McCartney to testify for Stabby. The jury will wonder why the ONE person she supposedly told this fairytale to BEFORE she was arrested and who she claims would not betray her did not show up.

My money is Juan Martinez.

Im so curious to see how this works out. Nurmi objected immediately after this .. approach ... did Juan tell the Judge your honor, I have someone coming in on rebuttal? Or was it some other legal to stand on w no one to come in? tapping my toes to see what happens. : ) Would Juan pull a trick, sure, all attys do but it remains to be seen if this is one he speaks but leaves hanging in their minds. I was getting that feeling too, either they are wanting to believe her or they want to be completely positive before handing her the DP, I don't think they're feeling any middle ground here, nothing or everything. I'm really hoping the latter but you just never know. She's been in the courtroom with them for a long time now, and the more familiar they are with her, the less chance of them giving the DP.
