Metis, Travis was shaved because he didn't like body hair. I believe Jodi testified he didn't like hair on her either, hence the Brazilian.
Anyone catch that this cut, or whatev., was taken on the HELIO on May 31st? thought she lost that bad boy mid may after the recording, how could she take a pic of a cut at work with a lost/stolen phone after the fact? she documents a cut and not a choking bruise or broken finger? WTF I hate her
I completely missed that he was shaved, not her. Yes, I understood she got the Brazilian wax "for Travis". Ok, I must have missed that part. I still believe the fresh wax on her is part of the premeditation cause it was part and parcel of the plan to visit travis. (Sorry to keep harping on that item)
Okay, I have a question. If Travis was wearing this body bug thing, and not duct tape, was the body bug found at the scene? Did Jodi take it? If so, why?
It's possible we don't know the answer to that, because it wouldn't have been evidence, but I don't recall seeing it in any of the crime scene photos or anything. Just wondering.
Also, I saw this elsewhere and thought some would enjoy it.![]()

I believe that she planned the whole trip in order to kill Travis, thus pre-meditated murder. However, if jurors aren't convinced that premeditation was proven for that period of time, these defensive wounds scream that she wasn't trying to get away from him or leaving him incapacitated. At this point she was planning to kill Travis.
Just saw a fascinating post on the Eyes for Lies blog. I don't want to be disrespectful to her by copy/pasting here; she has a very obvious copyright message at the bottom of the blog. I also don't want to send traffic away from MDS. So if you are interested, check out the whole thing at http://blog.eyesforlies.com/2013/03/...hotograph.html. But come back here afterward, because you won't find any discussion quite like the discussion here at MDS.
Anyway, one of her readers sent in a picture of Travis' last photo in the shower, but she used face-mirroring software to mirror each side of his face. Eyes said
Best dscription I've seen yet of the expression in that photo. In the photo on the left you see sadness. And the photo on the right you see an intensity that is gut-wrenching. It's like a mix of a fear and anger that one would feel if they have their back against the wall and they are cornered.
A nap is only nice when it's a luxury, not a necessity.
Websleuths are back and forth over the bodybugg too.

I did hear a female friend say he wore one.
I never heard that one was found at his home.
Wonder if she took that to?
I posted this over at WebSleuths, but thought folks here would enjoy it too - so copying my own post over -
The last picture of Travis' face, while in the shower, is like a rorschach test - each of us sees something different in his expression.
There is an on-line test called Mind in the Eyes, where you are shown cropped photos that reveal different people's eyes and you must choose one of four emotions that they are expressing. You can take the test here: Reading the Mind in the Eyes
- this is based on the work of Simon Baron-Cohn and his research on empathy, and his book, The Essential Difference: Men, Women and the Extreme Male Brain.
Anyway, I thought that the folks here who feel strongly about their interpretation of the emotion(s) Travis is showing in that last photo might enjoy taking the test.
I personally see anger/irritation in his face in that photo.
I scored a 31 out of 36 on that test, which indicates I am "very accurate" in decoding facial expressions - according to this test.
For anyone on the east coast with Verizon Fios, the Judge Judy episode with Gus Searcy is on right now. Channel 14, or 514 HD, the CW channel. That case will be the second part of the episode.
"so he ejaculated on your face and threw you some candy?"
Jinkasaurus, thanks for the eye test. It was interesting. I only scored a 29. The black and white pics with shading made it more difficult for me.
Jinkasaurus: I'm sorry I can't quote you on my phone, but I see pretty much what you see. To me, it's like he is feeling betrayal mixed with fear and anger. If he's actually looking at a weapon in her hand at that moment, it's really sad for me. And to know Jodi thought this was such a good picture of Travis... as she told Det. Flores several times... I just want to grab a telephone book and beat her with it.
Someone a few pages back posted a link to David Lohr's videos of the trial with the sidebars and breaks edited out. I had been wading/suffering thru the unedited videos on YouTube and I would just like to say THANK YOU! (Sorry I don't remember who you are.) You are wonderful!
The amazing thing is that with all the crap (sidebars etc.) edited out there ends up being 1 1/2 to 2 hours of ACTUAL TESTIMONY per day!! AZ residents, this is your tax $ at work...
You know, after looking at the very last pic (of her dragging him in the sheet) I realized what's wrong (and I'm sure others having noted it), the walls and floor are so pixelated you can't tell what the surface is. I recall Flores showing a pic to JA and telling her that was just a small portion of the whole pic they recovered, I'm having fantasies of JM whipping out the complete pic and just watching her face hit the floor.
Hoping I can post this link- it's a screenshot of posts that Matt McCartney made. I knew it! What do I win??

That pic of Skunt as a weather girl is funny as hell whomever posted it! The one warning of 'dense fog ajead'... The media references her good looks, I think she is uglier than a mud fence!
Ok so I'm behind on things, at the risk of sounding like a total doofus, could someone explain to those of us LD class WTH is a body bugg?
I am playing catch up cuz I'm several days behind. Could someone explain for us kids in the LD class WTH a body bugg is?
