I get cold sores so bad, I went to the dr to get meds to prevent them. Prior to that, I got them when I was sick, scared, stressed to the extreme. The night my father died, while I was on the phone with the dr, I felt one coming on. Since mine were 100 times worse than the one she has, I do admit I wince when someone disses her for it.

Newb here, been following thread since some pages in the 300s...started off as morbid curiosity but there has been some insightful opinions and comments. Also a lot of access to non-mainstream information about the case. I usually follow this thread to get my information regarding this case because the trial is aggravating and moves so slow. I think that the court should hand out barf bags for the people in the gallery.
I live in AZ about 45 min from Phx and unfortunately my state tax dollars go to support this Skunt and her endeavors to memorize dictionaries and earn her GED and eat and get driven to the court for her sideshow. My heart goes out to Travis' family.
Question: Why can't the prosecutor pose a question such as "Since your attorney has extensive background as a sex offender attorney, does that enable you, Ms. Nefarious, to embellish and fabricate the notion that Mr. Alexander to be a sexual deviant and pedophile"?

I imagine that Travis's family members are all staying together in the same place while they are in Phoenix. On almost every morning, as they have done for weeks and weeks, attending various hearings and now the trial, they get up just like we all do, put themselves together and prepare to leave the house. What do they think, what do they say to each just before going out that front door? I know what I'd think and say. "Let's go get our brother back from that bitch." For the next five days, they'll have the blessed relief of not having to say that. And maybe on Wednesday, they'll finally get him back. Know what I mean?

well said and reflected on. their strength inspires me. I don't know that I would be able to sit through court day after day with the remorseless smug murderer of my sibling just feet from me, with her family across the aisle giggling as if taking in a comedy show. I don't know how they muster up such restraint.

I had a similar experience with the man I call my ex-husband of the unholy matrimony. Like you, I told NO ONE for quite a while. Then one day I suddenly spilled it all while chatting with an old friend on myspace. I don't know why it was so empowering, but it was. It was cathartic. I filed for divorce a few months before our second anniversary and left him in my rearview mirror.

Jodi's complete lack of emotion when talking about the "abuse" is certainly telling. In addition, the fact that she was willing to drive soooo far to see Travis proves, imo, that he was not a man that she feared AT ALL. I can't imagine a battered woman who was able to move away and put 1,000 miles between her and her "abuser" turning around and going back for more of what made her feel like used toilet paper.

She really makes me sick.

I completely agree on the driving 1,000 mile situation; I can't agree with you more about her making you sick. I try to not let her get to me, but it's hard when she's making a mockery of abused women and even moreso, making every effort to TRY to ruin Travis' reputation. F-that. I truly believe she will get what she deserves, one way or another.

I was also abused in most every way by my ex-husband. We were married for 14 years, and had 4 sons. I would totally advocate for any other abused woman out there. Jodi Arias is NOT a representative of myself, nor IMO, Any truly abused women out there. She smiles when she talks about being abused. She has no emotion connected with her 'abuse' stories. She comes across as arrogant and anything but an abused woman. Another thing...real women are out there being abused, and they deserve help. I can see how someone who felt absolutely forced to take deadly action could do so..but 29 stab wounds? A throat slit from ear to ear? A shot in the face? No. That right there is FURY..ANGER..Not fear.. I was actually in a situation with my ex-husband when I knew he was on his way home. I had just found a meth pipe in his man-cave, and I tore it up pretty bad. I knew when he got home I was going to be beaten. I got his shotgun and tried to figure out how to load it. Fortunately I didn't. I took that crack pipe, that gun, and told the kids they had 15 minutes to grab anything they could fit in the car. I drove 3 1/2 hours away, and spared myself, my kids, and even my ex from what could have been a devastating decision. I never went back. BUT, had I figured out how to use that gun and actually made the choice to shoot him. I would be filled with such horrible remorse that I believe I would be dead right now. Shooting an abuser once..possibly understandable, but what would a true abuse victim do? They would call the police. I would have never forgiven myself. I wouldn't be able to just walk away and be ok in the head after something like that. I've tried to put myself in her head. There's just no excuse for what she did. None. Not only that, but she's spitting on his grave with the pedophile accusations. I mean, she already devastated his family, how could she do that? Jodi Arias is dangerous, and if she somehow got out, we should all be worried.

I know it was very popular, but someone lent me the movie "The Secret" to watch, and I don't think I even got half-way through before turning it off. Maybe it was just me and my perception of the whole thing, but parts of it left me giggling and I don't think it was supposed to be funny. This is wonderful advice; I have a 16yr old daughter, an almost 12yr old daughter, and a 17 month old boy. If you don't mind, I'm going to share this last bit with them, over and over, and I wish someone had told me the same when I was younger. My second marriage was a total rebound, and I was very naive, but whatever. Thank you for this, this is so very important, and you put it into great words. Love it!

I rebounded from bad to worse to unbearably bad. I understand her feelings of abandonment and pain, when you realize you are more invested in someone than they are with you and how horribly empty and lost I felt when it was over. It's a shame she didn't seek some help when her thoughts became dark.

My friend would tease me because I was never without a boyfriend or a boy that was a friend with benefits from about the age of 15 on. It becomes an addiction almost, where you don't really know who you are because you are so used to that codependency and having someone there all the time. The older I've become, the more I realized that I'm perfectly happy being alone. So I understand why she feels that way. I honestly think it stems with her father. She could have been "daddy's little girl" and by the time her sister came along and Jodi entered puberty and became all rebellious hormonal teenage girl, he shifted his attention away from her. That's when she started to seek out the attention and approval of other men.

I agree that Matt M. might flip. He mentioned he has a family now, so doing time for perjury to help out an old psycho-ex-girlfriend wouldn't be for the good of the happy family. HPV is not related to herpes. HPV is linked to some cervical cancers, while herpes in all it's forms are not. Not all HPV are the type to cause cancer too. In fact some HPV infections do not have symptoms (no visible warts). I agree with everything else you said. Get your children vaccinated for chicken pox and hpv! I had shingles a couple years ago and got valtrex from the doctor and it stopped the new blisters from forming. Worked in labor and delivery for 30 years.
