Rage is not in the category of personality disorder. Also, this was obviously not a psychotic break. If it were, she would have not gone to the extremes she did to cover it up. She had an emotional pause button.....she just chose not to push it.

well today was just the best day ever in court! the jury spent the whole day asking questions about me!!! and thats my favorite subject in the entire world, because every thing does need to be about ME ME ME!!! a couple of times that stupid fartinez and that mean judge tried to get me to stop talking about ME ME ME, but i set them straight! they are just such party poopers some times, hope they realize that might not be a good idea to cross me, if you know what i mean

and oh the questions were just sooo good! i can see the believe every thing i say, and they like me sooo much that they wanted to here all my um stories again! they are just the smartest jury ever and i am the luckiest girl in my world now - yeah me!!!! they even stopped the court cuz even the deaf jury just had to hear all about me!!! i might have to look him up after the trial - if you know what i mean - tee hee!

i didn't bother looking at nurmi today for my special talking signs, cuz i just knew that he could see how great i was doing all on my own, i bet he is just brimming with pride and will just spend all day tomorrow edifying me!! but i do need to check my word of the day calendar for tomorrow so i can impress the jury more with my vast vocabulary like i am stupendous, empyrean or prodigious, i can just tell how smart they think i am and i always aim to please - whether its with words or cream pies

Sounds like JA with her emphasis on bumping her head during the struggle might be building a case for head injury. Therefore if we are to believe a head injury is why she has memory loss? I do not buy the inconsistencies surrounding the fog.

Isn't this the most twisted murder case ever? A confession without evidence. All kinds of evidence, but no way to put it together. A confessed killer who lies, points the finger at everyone and everything, and omits the most important part do the story. You would think it would be easy, but so man red herrings to distract.

The good news is Scott Peterson's trial had less evidence, a decomposed body, and massive consciousness of guilt he was convicted. One can only hope JA's lies equate to the jury tossing out most of her testimony and finding her guilty of premeditated murder.

Exactly. Jodi really doesn't know whether he was chasing her or not, according to her testimony. She just can't make me believe this was self defense, nor that she "feared for her life." A juror asked her why she went into the closet instead of turning left and running out the door, and she once again told of that previous time when Travis caught her at the end of the hallway, right at the bedroom door. At that time, she told everyone he grabbed her arm, but then he HUGGED her!! So what the hell was she afraid of on June 4th? A killer hug? I'm flabbergasted that she keeps alluding to this particular incident, and yet she wasn't hurt at that time, so she had no reason to fear for herself this time.

Of course, add to that the fact that he didn't actually threaten her life on June 4 until AFTER she shot him. That piece of testimony really hurts her self defense. I can't stop thinking about how dumb she is for saying that...but it's out there and she can't take it back.

She also said yesterday that the gun went off, she didn't mean to shoot him. So, shouldn't she have pled "accident"?

Do some research on Borderline Personality Disorder: get the book : I Hate You, Don't Leave Me. Arias is an extreme case of this disorder. A fascinating read.

Wasn't the Infinity gone by then? Wasn't the whole reason that Travis sold her his BMW and allowed her to make payments because she could not afford the Infinity anymore?

She still had the Infinity for a while when she returned to Yreka--she gave it back to the bank before she was arrested, BMW was at a mechanic garage in Mesa somewhere while Jodi was paying it off..she paid him for April/May, which I think personally contributed to her rage, that and the fact he was going to out all her crazy shit to all her friends and family and among the PPL group.

She is well rehearsed. The victim status is her self defense. Details are mangled lies peppered with truth. She wouldn't answer your question any more than the rest. She would say what she has been coached to say...I don't know why someone would do that. I could speculate.

I don't know if you guys have talked about this since JM finished his cross - but did you notice how he focused on whether she took Travis's gun with her? Wouldn't that qualify it for first degree also - robbery during the commission of another felony, murder?

I am amazed that this woman has an answer without hesitation to every question posed to her. This is one of the most fascinating case studies of sociopathy/narcissism that I have ever seen. Clearly she's a liar at every turn BUT....her ability to explain away the brutality of the crime is fascinating. She believes every word she is saying. The power of denial is incredible. One question the Jurors need to ask: Why did you slit his throat to the bone, almost decapitating him if you had shot him first and stabbed him repeatedly? Why the overkill?

You could totally see her stumble with the question about the spiderman underwear. Notice she goes "Well, they were spiderman" fist. (almost like she should has stuck with another character) Then she fumbles her words. You can see her wheels spinning and she throws in "Travis was close to a lil boy who liked spiderman" WTF. She lied again and then added a new piece to the story. She knew Travis had a "problem" in her words, but doesn't find it funny he had a little boy he was close to that liked spiderman? She's a nut. This question though I think shows her really start to freak and not be able to lie on the spot.
Can't wait for more jury ?'s they seem very intelligent so far. I love the skank one. LOL
