Yes! I have noticed, as long as I have watched her on the stand, that she turns to the jury to answer every single stinking question! I'm surprised she hasn't started complaining of whiplash. At times, I almost expect her head to just start spinning!! It's a good thing I'm not on this jury, I'd be zoned out by now.This trial is about getting justice for Travis and the horrible things SHE did to him, it's become the Jodi show and I hope most people are as over it as I am. I understand that she has the right to a defense, but it's just become such a sideshow. Sorry Jodi butI don't think you're winning jurors over with any of this.

i've given up reading this thread and watching the trial because nothing ever seems to change...
am i correct in assuming that jm's cross is over and nurmi is eliciting the exact same testimony he did in his direct and that this will go on for another 9 days?
also, will jm re-cross once nurmi is done for another six days?
i heard somewhere that the trial is expected to last another 3 weeks, but that seems like a very hopeful estimate.
i have just realized that i don't know how to write a college paper in mla format and that grinding beans for use in a drip coffee pot is a bad idea.

Yes, he does! Even the questions he's been asking aren't really making much headway. JM did a great job on his cross of Jodi, and I think the defense knows they don't have much to work with as far as her story and her testimony goes. I'm guessing he won't keep her on the stand much longer. I am PRAYING he doesn't. I think the world has seen and heard more than enough from Jodi.
Just a point on Jodi's hand supposedly being hurt at work. When I was in High School I worked at a local fast food restaurant and I cut my finger pretty bad while opening a sealed container with a serrated knife. They had to document it, take me to the ER, and I had to sign all these forms.
I looked it up and all businesses that have even one employee in CA are required to have some type of worker's comp type coverage. I can guarantee you that if she hurt herself like that at work it would be documented in case there was a claim. I'm sure she would claim that she just didn't want to be a bother or something like that and didn't say anything, but we all know what a drama queen she is and how she would have milked it if she had truly hurt herself at work.

As far as I know there is no re-cross. After Nurmi is done, Jodi has to answer jury questions and then she's done. A few experts still have to testify and who knows who else the defense has up it's sleeve. Hopefully not much more.
and jm get's to question anyone nurmi brings up? when does jm get to bring in his extra people? i has a confused.

There is no re-cross. Unless the judge allows it, which is rare. Then the jury questions. Then there will be the "experts" and maybe Matt McCarthy will get a chance to lie on the stand for his buddy. Then there will be the rebuttal case, where JM can call new witnesses, and some of the old, if he wants to. Then there will be closing statements.... This probably won't go to the jury until April. Especially with Nurmi and his "How did you FEEL?" questions continuing today....

Yes, JM gets to cross examine all of the defense witnesses after the defense is done with them. I think once the defense has wrapped, JM gets a rebuttal and then it's closing statements and then we're done

Between all her stories, Travis's injuries, her lack of remorse, television appearances and disgusting behavior, I don't see this jury deliberating for very long. Her attorney is going through the motions of her defense, but for someone who is recounting the most terrifying moment of their life....she certainly doesn't show any emotion to that affect. That's important...she's not reliving it as she tells it and that's because she is lying about it, or she would be displaying the frightening circumstances she was in, and she is not doing that. That's how I know she's lying. I had a horrifying experience once in my life and when I had to go before a jury to recount that experience...It was very emotional and traumatizing for me, I was shaking, crying and reliving the moment as it happened, and I never used to "Um" word ever in my account.. This jury must be so sick of her...like everyone is.
