The knife was for the personal attack. In other words she wanted to make him suffer because, in her demented mind, she was suffering because of him. You saw the autopsy photos I'll assume. The wounds to Travis's back do not support her self-defense claim. She completely savaged him with the knife to relieve her anger and I have no doubt, that she was probably taunting him while she was attacking him. The element of surprise gave her the upper hand, and I think that's exactly what she did. I don't believe Travis was aware that she was taking those shower photos. Seems to me that she packed up, left and snuck back in the house. IMO I think the deep wounds to his chest came first, they're in a perfect square, almost precision to whatever her plan was for this attack, and the ME said they were deep. The trauma of that first attack with all the blood and pain would have sent him into shock...rendering him more vulnerable as he tried to get away. It looks like someone stood over the bathroom sink bleeding very badly...from the photo I saw. I wonder what the jury thinks of her and her lies, and what questions they may ask her. I'd want to know about those two body-slams...how was she able to get up right away after being body-slammed twice on a hard tile floor. And, I'd like to ask her about the photos of her dragging Travis's body down the hallway while he's bleeding. My prayers that the jury will do the right thing.
