LOL! But, yikes, my history with picking partners is so bad, it's laughable at times!
My first husband (and my heart's true love) died by suicide, many years ago.
My second marriage was to the sociopath. He was very charming, and I was the perfect target for him....young widow with children, still missing my partner so much, and was totally vulnerable to him. I actually spent 10 yrs with him, before deciding I could not fix his issues, and divorced a few years back. One thing...I'm a survivor! I've learned to appreciate what truly matters in life. To never waste a moment on the negatives, and to count my blessings each day. I've gained empathy and compassion for others. And I have raised the two most amazing children on this planet....they are wonderful adults with good hearts. Overall, that which didn't kill me made me strong as heck!
Based on what you see, do you think that she is remorseful for killing him? Or is her "remorse" because she knows that she is in deep poo?
I don't think she is remorseful for ending his life at all, but I am comparing her to what I have seen with my brother. Only tears for themselves.
I scrolled up to the picture you posted and I see the 9. I think I'm seeing it now. What you are calling a baseboard, is that the strip along the floor? I'm thinking of a baseboard as a heating system on a wall and that doesn't make sense.
Thank you. That's very helpful.

Yeah, this is the one point I disagree with. I don't believe Jodi is concious of guilt, at all. I don't think she feels remorse. She is sorry that she got caught, and she is trying her best to avoid being convicted and having to face the consequences. This has been evident throughout this case. She lies, and will continue to lie, to her own benefit only. She likes to feel that she is in control, at all times. If she felt guilt, she would have told the truth long ago. The only reason she is telling any story is because she has no choice...she was arrested and charged, and she is now on trial.

I read her as ashamed for killing him. Her body language...covering her face with her hands or with her hair, turning away from JM's facial expressions and the Alexander family's facial expressions read as shame to me, no guilt, not remorse.
On another note, I bet she misses him. He was the best thing she ever had. It's too bad she couldn't let him go and move onto Ryan. I think she enjoyed the ups and downs...the expressions of emotionality between the two of them. That song " you are gonna love me" is appropriate, no?
Don't feel bad. I can't see it either! I always thought that was another shot of her shoe/socked foot, stepping over a threshold, until JM showed it to JA on Thursday, saying it was Travis. I'm still trying to see it as a body, but...![]()
So, is that him being dragged over the threshold, from the hallway back into the bathroom?
Regardless, the pictures are actually getting more upsetting the more I see them. I can't comprehend such evil. Supposedly seeing Travis doing the dirty deed to a pic of a young boy disturbed her SO much she puked...not on the spot, but after getting home! Yet such butchery, at her own hands, metered out over minutes, blood EVERYWHERE, not to mention stuffing him in the shower then showering with him, a dead body, didn't seem to phase her one bit!
I think it she was shameful of what she did to him, she would not continue to put his character through probably the most repulsive accusations she could possibly think of.
That is what I said. I don't think that she is remorseful for killing TA. I think that she is remorseful that she got caught. My brother is the same way, no remorse for what he does, only when he gets caught. The only time the waterworks turn on with him is when he has to face consequences, or when he is trying to guilt you, but he is never actually sorry for anything.
Some thought a sock over shoes. For me, it isn't clear enough to tell me one way or the other. As a sock only, it seems to unformed to the foot. I don't know, none seem to lend to an easy picture. : (
She could alter the prints on the carpet (or anywhere) simply by taking that glass and dumping water around so Juan didn't impress me with that one.
And that's another thing, they presented a partial shoe print, then left that hanging.
I think you we're writing this to me so I am gonna answer. By consciousness of guilt, I mean this term in the legal sense, not feeling guilty in the emotional sense. Consciousness of guilt ( you can google it) simply means evidence of actions taken to cover up the crime. Here's the short list of her actions:
Washing down the crime scene with lots of water
Moving the body
Deleting the pictures
Emailing when she knew he was dead
Leaving a voice mails though she knew he was dead
Washing off the body
Putting, towels, his underwear, the socks and camera is the washing machine with bleach to damage/ remove evidence
Tossing the gun
Getting rid of the knife and rope
Getting rid of the kill clothing
And so on.
