    EXACTLY!!!

What I will NEVER understand, ...why did she even bother to clean up what she did. Why bother? So much blood everywhere, I would think would have felt too overwhelming to try to cover it up. To me it's an "all or nothing" type situation.

sorry smashie, it still could be anything to me. As bad as he was bleeding, I wouldn't expect the blood drips to stay exactly the same from 52:32:16 to 5:33:32

LOL! But, yikes, my history with picking partners is so bad, it's laughable at times!
My first husband (and my heart's true love) died by suicide, many years ago.
My second marriage was to the sociopath. He was very charming, and I was the perfect target for him....young widow with children, still missing my partner so much, and was totally vulnerable to him. I actually spent 10 yrs with him, before deciding I could not fix his issues, and divorced a few years back. One thing...I'm a survivor! I've learned to appreciate what truly matters in life. To never waste a moment on the negatives, and to count my blessings each day. I've gained empathy and compassion for others. And I have raised the two most amazing children on this planet....they are wonderful adults with good hearts. Overall, that which didn't kill me made me strong as heck!

She has reason to do this...her life is on the line and as she says repeatedly she knew immediately "my life is over". Malingering is a bonafide diagnosis used lots in psychiatry and other medical specialities. Though you can google it, it basically means "fabricating or exaggerating symptoms for a variety do secondary gains".

Making a diagnosis is more than going down a list of traits and checking off yes or no. It requires establishing rapport, taking a history ( over time) and asking skillful questions to get information the person might not consider important. JA has been examined by a psychologist and domestic violence specialist. Both sides will present the report/results of their interviews with Jodi. The television pundits who have discussed JA's mental health or lack do it, haven't examined her. I am excited to hear what the professionals have to say about Jodi.

the latest Diagnostic and Statistical manual for psychiatric merged anti-social and psychopathic categories. That makes complete sense to me because they are so close. Again, it would be impossible to dx JA based on her testimony. In fact, I bet the professionals didn't spend lots of time on her kill story. They will look for corroborating information and her history. They probably gave her pencil and paper tests. And there are tests to determine if a person is lying.

Seems to me the only facts we have are that
    JA killed Travis,
She made sure there was no evidence of her being in AZ
She shows consciousness of guilt (lots of it),
She knows she is in deep doo-doo,
Something happened ( or many somethings) that led her to kill him.

    K, I will shut-up now.
Based on what you see, do you think that she is remorseful for killing him? Or is her "remorse" because she knows that she is in deep poo?

I don't think she is remorseful for ending his life at all, but I am comparing her to what I have seen with my brother. Only tears for themselves.

I was confused about that last photo.....until I saw how you put them side by side. It suddenly made sense! I could envision that is just a different view of his body. I always assumed it was his arm, for some reason. But I agree with you, 100%....thank you, thank you!

I scrolled up to the picture you posted and I see the 9. I think I'm seeing it now. What you are calling a baseboard, is that the strip along the floor? I'm thinking of a baseboard as a heating system on a wall and that doesn't make sense.

No need to apologize. If ya don't see it, ya don't. For what it's worth..in the last picture, although the patterns are virtually the same, there is more blood.

Yeah, this is the one point I disagree with. I don't believe Jodi is concious of guilt, at all. I don't think she feels remorse. She is sorry that she got caught, and she is trying her best to avoid being convicted and having to face the consequences. This has been evident throughout this case. She lies, and will continue to lie, to her own benefit only. She likes to feel that she is in control, at all times. If she felt guilt, she would have told the truth long ago. The only reason she is telling any story is because she has no choice...she was arrested and charged, and she is now on trial.

well I'm not "mortified" or "frantic" over it.

I loved when she showed the jury that a little spat over her backpack had her "mortified". Then we Travis' text saying he is tired of all her drama right near this. rofl

I am almost positive she was wearing only black socks. I think her foot was too flat to have on shoes...plus, her footprint on his carpet didn't show a shoe sole mark. I think she took off the socks and threw them in the washer with the rest of the evidence.

I read her as ashamed for killing him. Her body language...covering her face with her hands or with her hair, turning away from JM's facial expressions and the Alexander family's facial expressions read as shame to me, no guilt, not remorse.

On another note, I bet she misses him. He was the best thing she ever had. It's too bad she couldn't let him go and move onto Ryan. I think she enjoyed the ups and downs...the expressions of emotionality between the two of them. That song " you are gonna love me" is appropriate, no?

I think it's shame for what people think of her, not what she did to him.

I'm curious...Have you watched her interrogations or her TV appearances?

She's toast,my favorite part so far is Juan nailing her on the shaving pic.I have only seen the Defense part of this trial so far so I have to go back to all the evidence part of it.

well just a few things would include - she admitted she hurt her finger that day, and not when she was "attacked" by travis, that she went and got the plastic cup to clean - even tho b4 it was complete amnesia - that the whole lic plate skater scenario was bs, - that she admitted to covering up the murder becauz she didn't want to get caught - that she never even wrote in her diary to herself about all her accusations, and that travis never called her over and over again after she saw him w/ the pics of the kid, and thats to start, and i am sure the whole secret code magazine will be tied in when matt is called rather than asking jodi and just listen to her lies - she opened a lot of doors that will let martinez call a lot of rebuttal witnesses now

Don't feel bad. I can't see it either! I always thought that was another shot of her shoe/socked foot, stepping over a threshold, until JM showed it to JA on Thursday, saying it was Travis. I'm still trying to see it as a body, but...

So, is that him being dragged over the threshold, from the hallway back into the bathroom?

Regardless, the pictures are actually getting more upsetting the more I see them. I can't comprehend such evil. Supposedly seeing Travis doing the dirty deed to a pic of a young boy disturbed her SO much she puked...not on the spot, but after getting home! Yet such butchery, at her own hands, metered out over minutes, blood EVERYWHERE, not to mention stuffing him in the shower then showering with him, a dead body, didn't seem to phase her one bit!

I think it she was shameful of what she did to him, she would not continue to put his character through probably the most repulsive accusations she could possibly think of.

That is what I said. I don't think that she is remorseful for killing TA. I think that she is remorseful that she got caught. My brother is the same way, no remorse for what he does, only when he gets caught. The only time the waterworks turn on with him is when he has to face consequences, or when he is trying to guilt you, but he is never actually sorry for anything.

Some thought a sock over shoes. For me, it isn't clear enough to tell me one way or the other. As a sock only, it seems to unformed to the foot. I don't know, none seem to lend to an easy picture. : (
She could alter the prints on the carpet (or anywhere) simply by taking that glass and dumping water around so Juan didn't impress me with that one.

And that's another thing, they presented a partial shoe print, then left that hanging.

I think you we're writing this to me so I am gonna answer. By consciousness of guilt, I mean this term in the legal sense, not feeling guilty in the emotional sense. Consciousness of guilt ( you can google it) simply means evidence of actions taken to cover up the crime. Here's the short list of her actions:

Washing down the crime scene with lots of water
    Moving the body
    Deleting the pictures
Emailing when she knew he was dead
Leaving a voice mails though she knew he was dead
    Washing off the body
Putting, towels, his underwear, the socks and camera is the washing machine with bleach to damage/ remove evidence
    Tossing the gun
Getting rid of the knife and rope
Getting rid of the kill clothing

    And so on.

    No remorse at all imo.
She turned out the same act when sobbing, I wasn't there. Then again when sobbing the ninjas did him. Now we are into act three. It's all acting! She can't even look at JM anymore and keep her woe is me act together.
