the one of Travis staring into the camera looks like the same pose as the dark photo right before it; he held that stare for 8 seconds. It is 70 seconds to the leg shot; I think he had been attacked by then. That is a long time to just sit there. 44 seconds until the ceiling shot; 62 seconds to the dragging shot; and 76 seconds until the final shot of the floor board, still dragging.
This is just my opinion of what was going on. IMO she left and came back armed and ready. No argument about a dropped camera or anything else - premediated while cornered murder that she came fully prepared to carry out. Nothing could have changed her mind other than someone interrupting. She knew there was no way to change the Cancun plans, they were just days away. Tickets were already purchased - that was not her goal. Her goal was to kill from the second she left Yreka.

Oooops....with one exception. I still believe that most serial killers are characterized as sociopaths. Sociopaths do not feel true empathy. It's foreign to them. That's not to say they don't express remorse, but that remorse if usually empty, unless they undergo intense treatment and therapy. I think JM did a great job with Jodi. Yes, there were things that we don't understand now, but I am confident, he will explain them. He wasn't perfect, but who is? All of this is coming at him so fast, asking questions, having her stall, getting her to commit, is impossible to listen to! I can only imagine how inside he just wants to shake her! I think he ended when he did because she was up there so long and he got what he needed, at that moment from her. You have to understand how the picture is set up. It took me a while to understand what I was seeing. Use the white base board as a ref. point. Above the white base board that is the wall that goes straight up.
Below the white baseboard is the tile floor. Both look the same color and texture-which is why it was hard for me to understand the picture. The blob over in the left area-is anybodys guess.
I see what you are referring to.....to me, it just looks like reflection off of his very slick body. Dunno?

For some reason, I have always assumed that was carpet in the very last photo. That might be because it is very grainy and those photos were greatly enhanced, according to testimony. I think that is why it's so hard to understand what is going on in them. It's anyone's guess...

Thank you. Now I understand how blood got on the baseboards. She was dragging him right up next to the baseboard. That's probably why her palm print was on the wall. She was using the wall as her push off to get the body down the hallway. After you posted the picture smaller....I can see it pretty good now. Thanks again.
As I have said before I've worked in psychiatry (~35 yrs), spent about 5 yrs in forensic psychiatry. IMHO it is impossible to diagnose JA based upon her testimony...she is lying, omitting facts and mixing up information from different times. She has reason to do this...her life is on the line and as she says repeatedly she knew immediately "my life is over". Add to this, Abe discussed her use of "closing the deal" sales techniques throughout confessions and testimony. She knows exactly what happened, knows what the forensic evidence says and is trained in persuasive communication techniques. The only conclusion is she is malingering.
Malingering is a bonafide diagnosis used lots in psychiatry and other medical specialities. Though you can google it, it basically means "fabricating or exaggerating symptoms for a variety do secondary gains".
Making a diagnosis is more than going down a list of traits and checking off yes or no. It requires establishing rapport, taking a history ( over time) and asking skillful questions to get information the person might not consider important. JA has been examined by a psychologist and domestic violence specialist. Both sides will present the report/results of their interviews with Jodi. The television pundits who have discussed JA's mental health or lack do it, haven't examined her. I am excited to hear what the professionals have to say about Jodi.
the latest Diagnostic and Statistical manual for psychiatric merged anti-social and psychopathic categories. That makes complete sense to me because they are so close. Again, it would be impossible to dx JA based on her testimony. In fact, I bet the professionals didn't spend lots of time on her kill story. They will look for corroborating information and her history. They probably gave her pencil and paper tests. And there are tests to determine if a person is lying.
Seems to me the only facts we have are that
JA killed Travis,
She made sure there was no evidence of her being in AZ
She shows consciousness of guilt (lots of it),
She knows she is in deep doo-doo,
Something happened ( or many somethings) that led her to kill him.
K, I will shut-up now.
