There were several stories posted in major newspapers and news websites the past couple days that the prosecutor was coming across overly harsh and aggressive and it could be turning the jury off and causing them to sympathize with her according to legal analysts. He doesn't need to grill her to be effective and he is showing that today. Her own words and actions are enough.

I think she's more upset with how Travis has messed up HER life. She's not upset with what she did but how this whole thing affects her. If he hadn't done XYZ she wouldn't have HAD to kill him and she wouldn't be in this position. It's not her fault she's in this position. It's his. He made her do it.
