Regarding the shooting, she testified how she pointed the gun at him with both hands, he ran at her like a linebacker he got kinda low and grabbed her waist but before he grabbed her waist the gun went off.
If we are to believe Jodi, you really have to imagine Travis running towards her, her arms probably outstretched to hold the gun both hands, in my mind, Travis had to be quite low and his head turned to the left for the bullet to enter above the eyebrow and end up in his cheek, otherwise surely the bullet if he was face on would have gone front to back?
She didn't say the gun went off in a struggle, it was clear that it went off before he grabbed her waist, but if he had been shot and he was a few feet away, what she is saying that it had no effect and he continued running at her, cos she didn't think he had been shot as he didn't appear any different, how do you not notice someone with a whole in their head above their eye????
I agree, only when there is no room for doubt, I do now feel they should consider reintroducing it in the UK, although I was staunchly opposed to it at one time.
I do get lost with JM but he is getting around to making a point, the one he left us with on Friday was interesting as it was getting to Matt (ex)!
He is bleating that he is thankful that Jodi hasn't called him as a witness thus keeping him out of the trial albeit by name, but the fact is, he was going to perjure himself and the plan unfolded and the defence team caught wind of it hence the reason why Victoria Washington withdrew due to conflict of interest.
Looking at the court minutes, Nurmi also tried to get off the case, his reasons were because he had left the public defenders office and had set up on his own, the Judge ruled that he was obligated to continue with the case, don't you think that might wrangle with him?
Going through the court minutes as I did at the weekend, I found some interesting snippets, Jodi didn't want Travis to be referred to as 'victim' as she felt it would prejudice her and it was contrary to her claim of self defence, but that didn't get her anywhere, she didn't want JM to state in his opening arguments that she has shown no remorse, that is currently on hold.
What I found to be really odd was how she wanted an interpreter for those members of the jury who only spoke spanish, just as far fetched as her testimony. Can you imagine how long the trial would take if there were members of the jury who did not speak english, 'CRAZY SKANK BITCH'!
I think the word manipulative should be redefined - Jodi Arias
