Didn't you know? All criminals in jail are innocent.
Truth be told, most criminals know more about the law than we do. My brother has spend a fair amount of time in and out of the system in his younger days. There's two things they have plenty of time for-weightlifting and learning. They usually have access to a full law library. They use it too. My brother said there is usually one or two guys in the system that are SUPER smart. You can go to them and they will help you with what filings or motions you need to do. My brother said you never wanted to depend on the appointed attorney
Question-If Jodi is found guilty, will she be tranferred to prison?
I take it she's just in the local jail, right? I suspect she may find prison living a little different than jail living.
OMG hahaha I didn't mean to quote myself LOL that comment was back to you about tent city Sylvian MUAH!
OOh now that's scarily similar. Just watched a vid about Wendi Andriano who was successfully prosecuted by JM. She even went the self defense route followed by the librarian look in court as well as giving the same treatment in court, being evasive and not giving direct answers. Sound familiar?!
He's seen this before, he's gonna do this!
What I just adore about Juan Martinez, he has PASSION for what he does, it's not just some job he has. You can see it through his soul, the passion and justice he is seeking for people that have been murdered and who he is speaking for that he doesn't even know. I have so much respect for that man.
That's probably how Jodi had her hooks in him so deep. If he was exposed he would have probably lost his standing in the Mormon Church. I don't know much about Mormons.
There's been a documentary on TV where a woman believes the Mormons are a cult brainwashing her man against women. So, she follows him when he goes on a Mission to England. She brings along 2 men friends and rents a cottage out in the country. They kidnap him and she ties him to a bed and rapes him for several days. It was a big scandal and in all the tabloids, especially in England. This was back in the 60' or 70's. So, the documentary been on the last 6 months or so. I think it's called "Tabloid" or something like that. Has anyone else seen it?
But the LDS are so strict about sex, especially involving their elders, and I believe Jodi knew this.
My husband wonders why Travis wasn't already married at age 30. He thinks his church would have been encouraging him to get married long before that. Just his opinion.
Yes, I COMPLETELY agree with you Rockabillychick! I know JM was making connections to the magazines, and solidifying some good points about Matt...but I'm with you, I wish he would've wrapped it all up nicely, and left the jury with a sense that Jodi is very deceitful. Now like you said, she and her DT have had 3 whole days, to spin this in their favor, come up with some warped story to explain it all away. I also agree with Jinkasaurus that there won't be any big "A-Ha" or Law & Order moments where he busts out all this crazy shit and slams it in her face. I wish that would happen...but he will be methodical and take his sweet time with proving these points. You're right, he knows what the hell he's doing...and I'm sure he's had to cross examine beasts of her kind in his past... I have a lot of faith in him.
Mormon or not, irrelevant. She slit his throat almost to the point of decapitation, stabbed him almost 30 times (including his heart) and shot him in the face. Nothing about Jodi matters after that heinous murder. No justifications. All her lies, again, irrelevant to her heinous murder.
Nooo lol her lies ARE relevant haha, I have sleepy eyes, my bad. Came out wrong. I'm tired.
I'm sure she'll start out trying to act like a meek little wallflower. How long will it last, that is the question!
There you go spoiling all our fun with FACTS.
About PREDICTIONS. Last week a drinking game was proposed, taking a drink whenever JM said "Right" We could continue, but substituting soda, coffee, cake, whatever instead of liquor. (Actually, 1 cup of coffee makes me crazy these days)
Or we can try to predict when she cracks.
Any ideas?
Hi guys and girls. Been reading this forum for a couple weeks now, and finally decided to register. But I'm not one for much foreplay, so let's put it in already, right?
This case has been sticking in my head day and night since I read about it on Radaronline in January. I really feel like I have been this girl. Following a man around, hoping against all odds he would love me too, realizing it wasn't love and the ensuing heartbreak. The first day of trial I actually watched, I felt such sympathy for her, I cried that night thinking about it.
However, as the days went on, and the defendant took the stand, the sympathy turned to abject horror at my own naivety. Her body language screams to me (just a house mom, barely high school educated) that she is of course a liar, obviously a whore, and in the end but probably from the beginning, a sociopath. I am quite confident that unless half the jury is asleep, she will get the DP.
One other side note. I keep hearing on HLN that they want people to email, or call in their questions for Jodi Arias. But they have way too many commercials, so fuck 'em, I'll post my question here.
If Jodi could go back in time, ANYTIME, and change the course of events today, I wonder how far back she would go. That day? The day she met Travis? Her "abusive" childhood? I think her answer would be very telling.
I found this on Huffington, it shows TA's closet with a stool. I don't know when it was taken.
Maybe the closet was like a dressing room and may have had locks?
I agree. If anything she'd go back to the killing day to relive it (and make sure the camera didn't survive this time).
They both enjoyed the sex. Travis was a 30 yr old male letting his little mind rule his world. The phone sex tape proved he was no innocent in that dept. Maybe his legacy will be a warning to a few men, beware! If it acts like a nut, talks like a nut, it's probably not worth that piece of ass. Never know when it is just a free ride or death!
