You KNOW Juanderful left it on the projector with her photo there, just to rub it in. I didn't hear it, but was told by TOK that the back row all sort of softly groaned when they saw CA, like "oh yeah, don't remind us of THAT verdict."

Here is a description of the jury i found on your link:

(NOTE, these names are not meant to be offensive or hurt anyone's feelings. First thing that came to mind, usually.) I typed this list out once and when I hit post, the site kicked me off! I hope it doesn't happen again. I just take too dang long typing! lol These are numbered, 1 is the person in the front row, closest to Jodi. The second row again starts at the person (#10) closest to Jodi.

    Jurors

1.Church Lady- Mid 50's, short hair, no make-up, glasses.

2.Trump-Guy in 40's, lots of hair, car salesman look.

3.Housewife-She is a big lady (tall and heavy set, not obese) with a very sweet face, no make-up.

4.Grandpa-Bald, sweet faced older man that looks like my grandpa.

5.Tricolor-Early 30's, short, stylish haircut with three colors, reminds me of one of my hairstylists.

6.Nancy-Lady in her 50's, lovely face, reminds me of Nancy Reagan with glasses, short sassy haircut.

7.Paul Rudd-Younger guy, mid-late 20's with spiky hair, sweat jacket, looks like the actor Paul Rudd.

8.The CEO-Good looking man, mid 50's with goatee. Can see him being the jury foreman.

9.Willy-Old hippy with long white ponytail, thin, small build.

10.Barb-Female, 40's, has the "sexy librarian" look, wearing a form fitting sweater, slender build and voluptuous. If ANYONE on the jury is offended by disparaging comments regarding breast augmentation, my guess is it would be her. She is the only juror I couldn't see very clearly; just when she entered and exited the courtroom and when I stretched up out of my seat to gawk at her.

11.Poquito-Little Mexican guy (maybe 5'3) with long graduated pony tail, lots of facial hair and piercings.

12.Neil-Early 50's high forehead, glasses, looks very nervous and turns red easily. This is the guy that makes KCL nervous.

13.The Wrestler-Younger good looking guy, large build.

14.Old potsmoking CPA (I have no idea why I wrote this, i have ZERO recollection of this juror. He did not make any impression on me, other than when I was going down the rows naming them.)

15.Elderly Man-This man is definitely the oldest juror, he occasionally uses the headphones to listen to the proceedings that Jodie's Auntie uses.

16.Maureen-Red haired, glasses (the red might be too red to be a natural ginger) If I had to guess one Mormon on the jury, it would be her.

17.Pony Tail-Young girl, pony tail, plain, pony tail and sweats.

18.The Artist-Bald, attractive, glasses, 50's-60's, large build, holds his notebook on a binder as if he's going to sketch. He looks around the gallery a lot. I thought we met eyes a couple of times, but who knows, that room is so huge!

Totally agree with you I read her the same way. And, I hope she continues to show her true colors to the jury. Even though she'll be coached to the gills, I kind of think she won't be able to stop herself from being snarky with JM. After watching the trial again without interruption, I've come to realize that JM knows his jury. I saw a lot of criticism on TV about him coming on too strong, but I think he is really doing what the people of Arizona expect of him. She may be doomed and I thought it looked like she knew it at the end of Thursday.

There is one factor that isn't mentioned when we are talking about her strength, rage, etc. The factor is...she is fuckin' nuts. I don't know if any of you have seen a sociopath/psychopath enraged but I have. This is not something that I talk about but I guess I will. My brother is a diagnosed psychopath with sociopathic tendencies. When he was younger you literally had to walk on eggshells around him so as not to set him off. I am older than he is when he was 10, I was 19 and I said something to piss him off. He came at me with a pair of meat shears. I ran into a bathroom and locked the door as he drove them through the door to get at me. It took 4 police officers to subdue him, reiterate he was 10. When people like that are enraged they have strength like you wouldn't believe.

Settle my argument, MDS. My boyfriend thinks that JM is dragging out the cross by talking about stuff that doesn't matter to the actual crime. He says that prosecutions tend to do this: they get so tied up in what the defense says that they spend most of their time trying to talk the jury out of believing the defendant's motive that they don't actually prove what the actual motive is (sorry super run-on sentence!).

He says he wishes JM would just get to the point of her jealousy and rage.

I told him that by him talking about poprocks and tootsie pops, he's trying to show that Travis wasn't abusive and that Jodi is full of it. I just don't know what else to say to him (my bf).

The very end of the cross examination on Thursday, right before they adjourn for the day, is really great. You can just see the wheels in her head spinning as she tries to figure out what the "right" answer to Juan's questions are. I forget what the actual topic was, but you could really just see how much she was struggling to figure out where he was going with those questions. It was really awesome!!!

Also in regards to that shower picture someone posted (sorry can't remember!) http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...psc324d7ce.jpg I notice there's no blood splatter on the walls of the shower. Maybe she was going off on one, Travis thought "fuck this", got out, was standing by the sink and she attacked him there whilst he had his back to her. There was alot of blood splatter on the sink. I don't think we'll ever know what went down but it's interesting to theorize.

Gotta love you Shahoolie11.I have the same shower and there is like a vacuum that you can hear when it opens and closes. Thanks for the test.

Take a look at the very first picture snapped, his fingers and hands are interlocked, straight back, staring straight ahead, with eyes open, and almost a look of annoyance (get this over with) on his face. That was one of the few photos that has a flash. maybe if he was turned away or eyes closed tightly for the whole thing, he may not notice a flash, but out of his peripheral vision, he most definitely would've seen the flash in Photo # 1.

My man has the same exact camera as Travis had, and we tested it out, I got in the shower stall, with the door open, and had him taking photos with the flash and without, and even with my back turned, I could here the shutter clicking/snapping with each photo taken, even over the sound of the water splashing in my ears and on my head.

Soooo....IMHO, while the photoshoot may have been for a different motivation for her at the time, the photoshoot itself, was no secret. Maybe he just went along with it since it was on HIS camera and he could delete them after she left...and he wanted to appease her wishes to get her the fuck out of his house already!!!

One scenario that works for me is that he was irritated when she was taking his pics, but he gets out of the shower, and when is drying his hair off with a towel, she stabs him in the chest, as they are standing by the sink. He then fights off some more stabs, leans over the sink at some point, then heads down the hallway, and it goes on from there.

Him standing naked with his eyes covered by a towel while drying his hair would be the perfect moment for her to make her first move, hitting him in the chest. I think they said the chest wounds were from a slightly lower angle rather than from up above?

(not that being a waitress isn't a noble job.. I could never do it.) Is this what you are trying to point out? Forgive my ignorance, I understood what you were saying in the first couple of posts, but I am lost on this one. (Gosh, I feel so stupid for asking! LOL)
Don't you dare let anything I saw make you feel 'stupid'. If there's anything stupid that ever appears on this thread that is connected to my thoughts, opinions or typing, I own it. You're right in interpreting what I said about Jodi Arias as wanting to appear, educated, smart, etc. beyond what the record of her achievements would demonstrate. That's an O.K. little deception. Almost everybody embellishes their status and achievements in one way or another--some a lot, some a little. Jodi does it on stilts. This creature took it to new heights and without doing the work, tried to carry off the role and she used it to invade and disrupt the lives of any others that she caught in her crosshairs; trying to make them pay deference to her and twisting them to her purposes. She passed herself off not as superior or accomplished by virtue of education, achievement, hard work, etc. but as inherently superior over others. She used everything and everybody, even the Mormon Church, and the Community in Mesa. She has some advanced verbal skills that could be a gift, but in her case are a curse. She knows the words, but has nothing worth saying. Jodi Arias is like the teenagers the teacher on this post spoke about recently. They only understand and use one pronoun, "I" and "me." That's O.K. in teenagers. We all expect it and they grow out of it.

In a nutshell, the photo of Jodi Arias with the black friend at a peformance of Othello at Ashland in 2008, is an example of what she did to all her 'men.' She's denying the guy his own dignity and then covering herself by bestowing a greater one upon him. The 'gift of Jodi." She picks a black guy and calls him Othello. Why? Cause the title of the Drama is "Othello, the Moor of Venice," who was probably dark-skinned. The great, smart, Jodi Arias is going to enrich and expand this guy's life with a caption under of picture of him and her on My Space. "Wouldn't he make a great Othello?" she writes. And,, standing beside him, the implied message is, "and here am I, the great Jodi Arias, adding a dimension to his life that he never knew he didn't have." I wonder what the guy thought. Well, for one thing, the essence of Othello isn't black skin. Anybody, anybody, who has read or seen the Drama soon recognizes that. Secondly, great actors have played Othello, some were black, some were white. They all wore makeup. Sir Lawrence Olivier, was one of the greatest.

In short, the deal she tried to make with Travis was kind of the same. "I will give you everything I have. I will bring a new dimension to your life. I will bring you things you don't know you never had. I will do this for you, Travis. In return, you must do the same for me." She ups the Ante by tossing in words like, 'monogamous' 'spiritual' 'acknowledge' blah, blah, all the while promoting his 'greatness' in unwanted ways, and she goes on and on about how she bragged about him in every medium she had access to and every place she went and that Travis should do the same for her. She lives in this false world that exists only in her own obsessed and distorted brain and calls that her truth. Read her messages to him. Travis saw through her and said, "No Deal. Number one, you don't have anything and you certainly don't have anything I want. Besides that, you invade my privacy, take my stuff and embarrass me in front of my old and good friends" So, because he refused 'the gift of Jodi Arias,' she killed him. She didn't stop there, though. Even after his death, she was claiming and redeeming him, arrogantly employing what she perceives as her superior status. Jodi Arias thinks she doesn't have to be worthy of someone else; they have to be worthy of her. Didn't you hear her tell Det. Flores, "Travis came from a real bad background you know, etc., etc., but he was a very special person. I know." She kept it up, redeeming Travis while she was living in her shabby bolt-hole in grandma and grandpa's house. She did it right up to she was caught. Breathtaking arrogance with devastatingly tragic consequences. Now, she's taking his 'greatness' apart to save her own empty miserable life.

There's a Drama in this. One of the themes? "Beware of those who want to redeem your life", or maybe "Ugly things can come wrapped in pretty packages," or ............take your pick. It's all been done before.

I gotta stop! Ask me any questions you want. I'll try to inject more clarity into my answers. Jodi is back on the stand tomorrow. Listen to her. Watch her. She never tells the truth. Never! The best you can say for her is that 'she is lying' or 'she isn't lying.' She doesn't understand truth. Truth lives somewhere outside of her and she doesn't recognize it and one irrefutable truth that lives outside her and that she will never connect to is that the lives of others are just as important as her own and that she is a murderer..

At her core, she doesn't give a f**k about what they 'think' about her: meaning she doesn't care. The fact that she could sit down and park herself at someone's kitchen table for fifteen minutes after being asked to leave their house, tells you how sensitive she is to the wishes, feelings or opinions of others. That for sure includes God despite all her incessant garble about her 'spirituality.' Just watch her her act out on the witness stand right now with her smart-alec 'ripostes' to Mr. Martinez on needless trivial points she doesn't have to win to save her own life.

The crap about the '1000 Things to See Before You Die' excursions she claims Travis Alexander and she had planned to take together over the years always served to lead into the 'Oregon Coast, Crater Lake, 'catch' a Shakespearean Play' trip she said was planned for May, 2008. That's the one she says that Travis backed out of. (I don't believe he ever agreed to it in the first place.) Nobody else has ever mentioned it.. She babbled on about it in one of her TV interviews, again while being questioned by Flores and again in her direct testimony. She used her usual semantic tricks to imply that Travis's regret over missing that trip, was one of the reasons he had eagerly agreed to a make-up visit to him in Mesa when she 'impulsively' called Travis as she was driving from Pasadena to Salt Lake City to keep her date with Ryan Burns. She tries to make it sound as though she was doing something Travis wanted to do as much as she did--sorta demonstrating their togetherness, the bond that, in reality, existed only in her obsessed and scheming mind. Jodi doesn't detect the huge semantic gaps, (the difference between what the words she uses actually mean and the meanings she conveys) when she prattles on with her fabrications. It's easy it is to detect the gap but she thinks no one can. Remember! She thinks she's the smartest little girl in the room.

I was really pissed off when, at one point on Thursday, while firing back at Martinez, she referred to Travis as "Alexander"--not Travis, not Travis Alexander--just Alexander--and there was a tone of derision in her voice.

Tomorrow she continues her showdown with the Dignity of the "People of the the State of Arizona. She is preparing to match wits with the People's Prosecutor, Juan Martinez once again. Sorta like bringing a pea-shooter to a gunfight. I think she's forgotten she's in the Arizona Territories.
I may be remembering incorrectly but I thought that during the phone call he had agreed that he was coming to see her? He said that she was definitely on the top of the list of whatever things and places he needed to do. I wish that he would have had someone that he could have confided all of his secrets to so we could know what he was struggling with. I can't help thinking if he too was not worried about the judgement of others that he could have reached out for help in what he surely was beginning to recognize as a toxic situation that he did not know how to deal with.

I still think they were role sex playing in the shower pictures.

As I suspected, she is posing with the actor that played Othello, Peter Macon. The following article is from June 14, 08 making it appear she went with the friend she mentioned going with in the voicemail. we attend plays here locally and the actors are always in the lobby afterwards.

    http://www.mercurynews.com/arts/ci_9588303

"Othello's (Peter Macon) blackness shines like velvet atop marble."

you can google him and see it is the same guy.

Yay! You referenced me :) the teacher! LOL

I completely agree with you. I think also she just uses words like "monogamous" and "spiritual" to sound smarter for the sake of just sounding smart. Case in point, when she was being cross-examined by JM, she kept saying the reason she confronted Travis about the make-out incident was because he was still "courting" her. Who freaking says that? He was still trying to date me. We were still in a sexual relationship. Sure. He was trying to "court" me?

I completely agree with you. I think also she just uses words like "monogamous" and "spiritual" to sound smarter for the sake of just sounding smart. Case in point, when she was being cross-examined by JM, she kept saying the reason she confronted Travis about the make-out incident was because he was still "courting" her. Who freaking says that? He was still trying to date me. We were still in a sexual relationship. Sure. He was trying to "court" me?

HAHAHA. Maybe to her it was courting but to Travis is was just booty.

I just think I'd give the huge side eye to someone who said that they were "courting" me.

It was not super easy for me (we did not wet the floor), but take off 20 yrs. and get get my adrenaline going, on a slippery floor, no problem doing what she did whatsoever. And if she had on her Puma's, she had some traction, then could remove them before walking out, thus no bloody footprints.

I also believe she could have been taking the photos without him being aware. None of those pictures would serve the purpose of showing how fit he was; they could have done that with pants on, smiling downstairs. She was just getting her shutterbug freak on. I have entered and exited the bathroom without my husband knowing, sometimes he is deep in thought in the shower, like Travis looked to be. And he even puts his arms up on the wall.

I think Hodi had packed up and left and came back with her purse and weapons. Otherwise some of her stuff would have been left there. I remember her saying her luggage was already in the car. I doubt the hole rope thing unless she brought it and the knife as a way to have the knife handy. If that's the case, she would have moved the rope to where she could easily take it.

If anyone has the page or link for Dr. Drew's juror Katie's notes on WS i would appreciate it. I broke my rule of keeping track. I was shocked to learn her sister was the one murdered by those two Germans a few years ago. She should post here, that site is too hard to navigate.

This explained it much clearer for me ad helped me to understand what you were meaning in your post. I had always thought somehow that Jodi thought of herself as a "savior" of sorts.. she was the only one who could make sure Travis reached his dreams. He couldn't do it without her. There is so much of her that comes out in these texts and messages and her testimony that you wonder what was Travis thinking in staying involved with her? I don't see how this could have ended in any other way than the way it did. She wasn't going to go quietly. For this to end differently she needed to meet someone who was superior to Travis but I don't think someone higher up the food chain would have given her a second glance.
I mean to listen to the sex tape between her and Travis you almost have to venture a guess that she was his first. I think this because he thought her vajay jay and her anus were good looking. The men I have showed it to have all said it is disgusting. That it looks worn out and used. Now while I can give her a couple of points in that she probably just had sex in all 3 of her holes.. they are stretched as though she has already given birth to a few kids. This leads me down the road that she used sex as her weapon with Travis. She knew he wanted out, but she wanted him so badly she was willing to be this sex toy because she really thought that she could change his mind about her and realize that she was his "other half." What she didn't realize was that she didn't have him mesmerized by her 3 holes. He wanted more than she would ever become. She was a good fuck, but she wasn't good enough to marry.
I think she did use the money she owed Travis as a way to stop by his house on the way to Utah. I think she seduced him. I don't think he thought she would ever really hurt him. Slashing tires, peeping, logging into his emails and looking at his phone, etc... those things while most of us would know not to trust her, makes me think that Travis didn't think it was that serious. It's so sad that he didn't call the police on her. That he kept thinking he could help her. He really just was a good man who had been through hell as a child and came through the other side. He deserved better than to go out the way she took him out.
She will never feel sorry for short-changing Travis of the life he should have had. She will only feel sorry for herself.

    RIP Travis

There are so many people obsessed with this case, there are no pop rocks, tootsie pops, and ner' a Toblerone to be found in stores. And don't dare tell anyone you're from Oregon or No Cali, they will grill you about the case.

The faces Travis makes in all the other pictures is called 'mugging.' It conveys nothing more than a self-deprecating comic moment when he's with friends. I don't think it reveals any aspect of his real character. So what if he was a back-slapping, Ultimate Fight Night, boisterous kind of guy. I don't know if I'd like him, but the people around him sure did. That's good enough for me. The guy was a 30-year old, reasonably successful male. That's how some of them act around each other when they are having fun. My own son does it and he's one of the world's greatest men. Ask his wife of twenty years. She's at the top of her profession too and certainly not a wilting flower.

She stayed until approximately 6:30 p.m. That's about sixteen hours. During that time, one of Travis's roommates came and went at least once and maybe twice. Yet I've never seen any mention of him having seen the rental car in the driveway where Jodi Arias says she always parked on previous occasions. The only other reference to where Jodi parked while at Travis's house is in her story of having parked the U-Haul truck and dolly around the curve down the street away from Travis's house where the pavement widens just before she hauled her ass back to her bolt hole in grandma and grandpa's house in Yreka. Could it be that when Jodi Arias arrived at 4 a.m. on June 4, she deliberately parked the rental car down there so that it would not be noted that Travis had a visitor? If so, that seems very calculated and premeditated. I've also been thinking on the specific sequence of her departure after the murder. How would anyone of you write/block that scene for filming? Did Jodi Arias leave twice? Once to retrieve her car? Then load it up! Then return (as she did in April when she hauled ass out of Mesa to return to her bolt-hole in grandma and grandpa's house in Yreka?) Was Travis already in the shower by this time, thinking she had finally left? Did Jodi Arias decide to try one more time to win him over and pick up Travis's camera (along with the weapons) to surprise him in the shower with the contrived photography B.S? Did Travis see her and flip her the bird once again, as he had when she moved away in April 2008? Did that trigger her rage and cause her to start stabbing and/or shooting? Did she then run out of the house in wet and bloodied clothing and hit the road? She has testified her stuff, particularly her camera, was already in her car when the photo session started and that's why she used Travis's. How did she get down to the laundry room and out of the house in wet clothing without leaving a noticeable trail?

In regards to Jodi's bloodstained and wet clothing after the attack, it appears to me that she bundled it up and threw it into the car when she fled and that accounts for the pink 'Kool Aid' stains on the front passenger and rear seats that the rental company had to clean after the car was returned. No?

Twenty-four hours 'till testimony resumes! C'mon you sleuths. Use some of the time to think about this.
I do think that she parked elsewhere, down the block or something. As you said, Enrique would've noted that there was an unfamiliar car in the driveway when he left for work that morning, if she had parked where she normally did. As far as I know, he never mentioned the rental car in the driveway.

As for being in wet clothing and going to the laundry room, she could have brought some dry clothes back in, or maybe she had left some clothes at Travis' or she could have even went to his dresser and removed some sweats or something. I do believe she gathered her clothing up and threw it onto the car floor, leaving the "kool-aid" stains on the floor.

Plus there is the shell casing on the blood, putting the shot last as well as the fact the ME said it would incapacitate him due to going into his brain.
My problem with this is, would she know how to clear a jammed gun? I'm thinking probably not. So either she got off one shot, then it jammed, or she did shoot him last.

I told him that by him talking about poprocks and tootsie pops, he's trying to show that Travis wasn't abusive and that Jodi is full of it. I just don't know what else to say to him (my bf).
Martinez definitely has to break down and expose those lies and slanders against Travis. Otherwise, you may have a juror (or jurors) who will think that what she did was terrible, but also still believe that Travis was a terrible, abusive person. No one is going to believe self-defense or anything of that sort, but I think that maybe 1 or 2 jurors might believe -- if they believe Travis was a sex fiend/pedo -- that he was subjecting Jodi to abuse and that she just snapped and killed him after too much abuse.

I want to believe that all jurors see through her lies, but there is likely going to be someone who puts themselves in her place -- maybe through their own abusive relationship -- and spins the reality to fit Jodi's claim. So, it's important to knock that all down upfront, imo.
