    “There’s a very severe mental component that takes place when someone has been sexually assaulted,” the attorney said. “She’s truly the victim in this case.”
    WTF??????
    Does this mean any time a man murders a woman and mutilates her genitals, he's the victim??????????
    I'm calling bullshit on this one. That's some sexist shit!

    EDIT:
    Misread the quote in context, but still. Dayum.

    Maybe Travis really was a virgin, and Jodi was his only sexual outlet. She seduced from day 1.

    I can't even finish a whole workout session of P90x. I know for sure I can't move a fridge-or stab somebody multiple times, then drag them. That's way too much work!

    hey, i can move the fuck out of my furniture, but it usually involves some combination of walking it, one side at a time and laying my ass down and pushing the bottom with my feet. and this is coming from a compulsive room re-arranger.

    then again...

    last time i found myself in a fight with a dude, i was flat on my back, unconscious with one punch.

    5:32:16 JA foot Travis bloody Shoulder & (foot)

    From the time she claims she dropped the camera:
    * Got picked up & Body slammed in the tile
    * Getting screamed at as spit or water was getting her wet
    * Rolled over on her side (to her left)
    * Ran down the hallway into open closet door (on her right - bedroom entrance to closet)
    * Slammed door
    * Began to run (to other door toward bathroom but remembered the gun)
    * Jumped up on the shelf (he kept it on the very top)
    * Grabbed the gun
    * Ran out the closet door (bathroom closet door exit- as TA was opening the door she had slammed & chasing her)
    * Turned around & pointed the gun (they were in the middle of the bathroom)
    With "BOTH" my Hands
    * TA lunged at JA
    * TA got low & grabbed her waist (like a line backer)
    * Gun went off
    * Both fell hard against the tile (quote: "toward the other wall like kind of near the scales or whatever those things are")
    * Struggling & Wrestling while he was getting on top of her
    * TA was grabbing at her clothes
    * JA broke away from him (he was screaming angry & said "kill you bitch")
    {{Memory Loss after this point but does remember dropping the knife it clinged the tile it made a big noise & she screamed & was freaked out}}

    Questions--->
    1) How did she do what she explained happened in the time between, the pics 5:31:14 & 5:32:16, in that short amount of time?
    2) At what point did she pick up the camera from 5:31:14 (Ceiling Pic) & accidently take pic 5:32:16 (JA foot Travis bloody Shoulder & Foot). IF she was holding the gun with two hands, then we know she didn't take it with her on her flight down the hallway, into the closet?
    I don't believe the "gun in closet" story at all. But it just struck me how similiar it is to the George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin case. GZ says TM was on top of him when he shot him. I wonder what magazines Jodi is subscribing to these days.

    Plus the ME said the gunshot was last, so Jodi just made up another lie.

    I haven't seen the segment he was talking about, so I can only guess at this point, until I do.

    Now, I have seen pictures of the bathroom, but I'm not sure what the exact location of the box/closet was. This sight has a picture of the blood-stained box. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...Alexander.html

    Looking at the box, the stain is rather dark, and so does not appear that it was diluted very much, in my opinion. To me, that would suggest there wasn't some great flood of water, but just an amount of water that traveled a distance.

    I think it is relevant in the idea that Jodi showered with Travis' body, to wash herself off and to wash his body free of evidence/dna. It would seem logical to me that she was in the shower with Travis, as there would be no point to washing herself, then dragging the body and getting bloodied again while washing him off.

    We know they found a cup in the shower. The presumption is that she filled that up to help rinse off the body. Imagine Jodi, in a small shower like that, trying to rinse off herself, and to be thorough in cleaning off evidence from Travis. Two people in the shower, in the laying/dead position he was in? No way was she getting that shower door closed.

    So, there's Jodi with the door ajar, even possibly wide open, so she has room to move. Seems logical a fair amount of water would be hitting the floor. Not a flood of water because she didn't leave the water running. But, I'm sure at one point we've all taken a shower and discovered that we left the curtain a bit open, and stepped out into some puddles. I think that is what happened here. Water from splashing with the cup, and from the door being left ajar.

    I don't think there was 2 inches of water on the floor, but the blood marks soaked 2 inches up the box. To me, a non-forensic person, that would be more indicative of a small amount of water, than a large amount. The cardboard was obviously porous and would soak up whatever water it was in contact with. That to me just means the water reached that distance, not that the floor was flooded with large amounts of water.

    I hear ya. I've mentioned about females who are able to become firefighters and soldiers, or the woman who was able to lift the 2,000lb car off of her father.

    I've also done lots of moving and I'm no weight-lifter. Not even close. I don't pump iron and I'm someone who keeps in shape more through diet than exercise. I'm 3 inches shorter and about 20lbs lighter than Jodi would've been at the time.

    I have helped move many times. And I'm taking the vast majority of the move. Packing the vast majority of a 28ft. truck, by myself (multiple times), and haul around furniture. For me, the bigger issue was furniture being too large and thus hard to get a handle on, rather than being too heavy. It's not remotely anything that I do every day. Perhaps a couple of times a year. But I was still able to do it. And that's relevant because it's not like Jodi was doing this physical thing on a daily basis. She had one occasion where she had to push herself to the limit to do what she did. And she did it.

    I look at women who run marathons, and there's no way in hell I would ever be able to do it, but that doesn't mean that no woman could do it. So, it's not fair for someone to say "I couldn't do that, so you couldn't do that, and no other woman including Jodi could do that." There are lots of things I can't do that others can, and vice versa.

    I think you are probably spot on about her showering with the door open. It's clear there were already pools of blood on the floor and the water that escaped from the shower just diluted it a little.

    Also i was thinking about the clothes she was wearing, she must have changed into fresh clothes before leaving and then burnt the clothes out in the desert perhaps? with the fuel from the fuel cans. I'm sure i've read somewhere that there was a smell of smoke in the car?

    That's what I was thinking. There's 2 kinds of camera timers. One the camera keeps clicking at certain intervals, every 30 seconds or so, the second kind which lets the photographer run and get into the picture. When I had my SLR, many, many moons ago, I had a wire that I could click the shutter from 5 ft. away.

    That orange lighting is called tungsten light. It's from the old fashioned incadescent light bulbs. When I was trying to take videos those many moons ago, I couldn't get rid of that orange light no matter how many lamps and watts I used. There's probably a fix for it in Photoshop these days.

    I still think the only photo Travis knew about was the 5:29 one. It's the only well-lit one.

    Jodi mentions being bodyslammed by the scale. I see no evidence that the scale was even moved.??

    I think in most scenarios where it's a "fair fight" and no one is trapped and defenseless -- i.e. naked and in a confined space -- we could all agree that in most cases a male would have an advantage over a female, but that isn't what happened here.

    I do find it interesting that a man is on this thread telling a bunch of women what we are and are not capable of. How would a man know better than a woman what it's like to be a woman or what women are capable of, and strengths and weaknesses?

    Any guys here who will volunteer to sit naked on the floor of a tiny shower and allow a crazy ex to take a shot at them with a bullet to the head or knife to the heart and let us know how that plays out?
    I personally think this is where the shot was fired, while he was sitting in the shower, the bullet went in above his right eyebrow and ended up in his left cheek, I know she gave some cock and bull regarding how Travis was running at her like a line backer or words to that effect, so how was she holding the gun, in what hand, at what point did she pull the trigger? It's think it is a strange angle for the bullet. I am sure JM will explore this part more fully, and she can't get out of it because she remembers the shooting.

    We aren't the jury and he is all over the place. Now I can take the weekend and figure it out but the jury can't. For instance, he spends a lot of time on so when did you sleep but never goes to the simple point of her own testimony on direct, she was "no more than 10 mins from the house" when she turned around and called Travis.
    Records show 16 mins later she is still calling him again. If she was back at the house catching him be pedo, why not go there first, then move on to sleeping lies.

    Maybe he will bring it all back in line but my concern is- this was his style in his CIC and many were complaining they were having trouble following him along.
    I think the jurors will have noticed the clear shift in her demeanour from the previous day, I wonder if this will change again tomorrow as she will have had numerous discussion with her DT and also, it seems she is able to watch media coverage on TV. I am sure there will be lots of high five and pats on the back from her hommies.

    I would make the effort if I thought it would make a difference, but just like we're stuck on our opinions of what happened, Ron is stuck in his. We will probably never though, since bitch with never tell the whole story.

    Ron, I'll have you know my husband is the one telling me she could have done this... as a nutritional science major and personal trainer. He's well aware of what the human body can do, male or female, fit or unfit.
    Some years ago I lived near a complete psycho she was about 5'6 and of what I remember quite slim, she was a drunk/druggie and was abusive to residents. I spoke to a police officer one day after she had threatened me, I asked him how many officers it took to take her down, he said a couple (put the fear of god in me and I avoided her like the plague), people gain strength when they are enraged, they focus on that rage so I think there is no question Jodi has the strength to do this alone.

    If cardboard get wet with liquid from the base it absorbs it like a sponge.

    Interesting point, but I am sure that as she has already given testimony regarding the shooting, she won't be able to dodge questions.

    The scales were moved as there was blood splatter on the floor beneath the glass ones. Jodi made some reference to them.

    If I am not mistaken it could be a three day week.

    She said on original lie " When she got there Travis was already putting boxes in the attic" NOT that he was expecting her for Christmas boxes.

    And, goes on about how she forgot the little white angel (her excuse for going back unannounced to catch him as a pedo)

    OOPS, says 'I called him! He didn't answer'

    Now she's just left, only a short distance away, turns to go back and CALLS. This call should be just minutes with no reason to call him again before her tale of running out throwing up and HIS frantic many calls to her which are nonexistant. Her call should be just minutes as she is turning right around to go back according to her. But, phone records show 16 mins, she's still calling him, not at the house in shock pedo scene.

    3:53pm Jodi calls Travis
    4:09pm Jodi calls Travis
    4:29pm Travis returns Jodi?s call
    4:53pm Jodi calls Travis
    4:54pm Travis returns Jodi?s call
    5:11pm Travis returns Jodi?s call
    5:20pm Travis calls Jodi
    1/21/08-5:38pm- Jodi says: I can?t remember am I coming in for u on Wed at 10:30?
    5:48pm Travis calls Jodi
    5:53pm Jodi returns Travis?s call
    1/21/08-6:41pm- Jodi says: Can we trade cars before FHE?
    So, Jodi ran out of the house after witnessing "pedophilia" and took Travis' car. I guess Travis was calling her because he wanted it back. Grand theft auto, anyone?

    Question: Does anyone know if the FHE was at the temple, where the visitor center was that Jodi went to?

    Pretty sure they're held at someone's home (family home evening).

    I have a question, when they are at their endless approach the bench conferences, who is recording what is being said? And are those released in the trial records after the verdict ?

    Will someone please think on this? Where did Jodi Arias park the rental car she drove to Travis's house? Jodi arrived at approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 4, 2008. She stayed until approximately 6:30 p.m. That's about sixteen hours. During that time, one of Travis's roommates came and went at least once and maybe twice. Yet I've never seen any mention of him having seen the rental car in the driveway where Jodi Arias says she always parked on previous occasions. The only other reference to where Jodi parked while at Travis's house is in her story of having parked the U-Haul truck and dolly around the curve down the street away from Travis's house where the pavement widens just before she hauled her ass back to her bolt hole in grandma and grandpa's house in Yreka. Could it be that when Jodi Arias arrived at 4 a.m. on June 4, she deliberately parked the rental car down there so that it would not be noted that Travis had a visitor? If so, that seems very calculated and premeditated. I've also been thinking on the specific sequence of her departure after the murder. How would anyone of you write/block that scene for filming? Did Jodi Arias leave twice? Once to retrieve her car? Then load it up! Then return (as she did in April when she hauled ass out of Mesa to return to her bolt-hole in grandma and grandpa's house in Yreka?) Was Travis already in the shower by this time, thinking she had finally left? Did Jodi Arias decide to try one more time to win him over and pick up Travis's camera (along with the weapons) to surprise him in the shower with the contrived photography B.S? Did Travis see her and flip her the bird once again, as he had when she moved away in April 2008? Did that trigger her rage and cause her to start stabbing and/or shooting? Did she then run out of the house in wet and bloodied clothing and hit the road? She has testified her stuff, particularly her camera, was already in her car when the photo session started and that's why she used Travis's. How did she get down to the laundry room and out of the house in wet clothing without leaving a noticeable trail?

    In regards to Jodi's bloodstained and wet clothing after the attack, it appears to me that she bundled it up and threw it into the car when she fled and that accounts for the pink 'Kool Aid' stains on the front passenger and rear seats that the rental company had to clean after the car was returned. No?

    Twenty-four hours 'till testimony resumes! C'mon you sleuths. Use some of the time to think about this.

    Sorry for the bad structure of my previous post. I lost part of it and had to re-do some and should have edited better. Hope you all get the idea. Editgot me.

    The 5:27 is clearly a suprised look imo followed by raised arms and facing the wall (per a gun holder's instructions?) then sitting with that awful look in his eyes.
    But the angle is continually changing, so someone is holding that camera. And it is too high unless she has it on a stool and there was no stool found there. There is no countertop right next too or directly across from it for her to set it on either - the hall is directly across from the shower stall. So using the remote doesn't really make sense.

    Generally they aren't released although I did see one the other day that was, can't remember what it was about, might have been something to do with one of the sealed hearings.

    While I'm going on here, has anyone thought about the allegedly planned trip that Jodi Arias claimed Travis and she were going to take to see, "The Oregon Coast, Crater Lake and catch a Shakespeare Play. Othello, she said. How 'effin refined she made herself sound! Think she knew that a major theme of Othello was Iago's (concealed) homicidal jealousy that motivated him to plot the downfall of Othello by triggering and intensifying Othello's own jealousy and drive him to murder his wife, Desdomona. That was Othello's inner-flaw that caused his downfall. (See Tragic Figure (Hero) No. 2--A person who falls from a high place to a low place through an inner flaw). What was Travis Alexander's inner flaw?

    Someone has uploaded video of Jodi testifying and taken out all the delays and sidebars -- very good to watch it without all the delays, it's in 3 parts

    She could have been hiding and bobbing in and out from behind his bathrobe and that wall that juts out. As Juan is showing us, she's a sneaky PEEP.

    Depends on her mood I guess. Testify one day while Nurmi lets her rant and she said she had Travis' car and alternated that with the phrase MY car.
    Testify with the State questioning her and she says she can't remember.
    Then when being a smart ass, says I didn't throw up in MY car.

    yes, Family Home night was Travis.
    Liar claiming she went to visitor center to bawl her eyes out.
