Or does Jodi expect us to believe she dragged an unconscious Travis all over the master suite while stabbing him? Yeah, doesn't make sense.
I just keep going back to those stab wounds in the back. Even though they weren't fatal, how could they ever be used in self-defense?

I still wonder if Jodi's friends are the ones who broke into the psychiatrists house and stole the computer with Jodi's psych profile. I wonder too, whether that Matt guy that Jodi stayed with before killing Travis is the man who went with her to rent the car. If I recall, the car rental agent said Jodi had a man with her.

IF that was Matt with her, combined with his public proclamations that he was willing to lie for her, I have to wonder if he knew what she was going to do. I admit it's probably not likely, but still a possibility.

IF Matt was the one at the car rental place, and he was called by the defense as a witness, I think if I was the prosecutor I would bring that up; did he know what Jodi was going to do? No? Well then why are you all over facebook saying you will lie for her?

I would like to see that, just to make him squirm. Not that I think he knew she was going to kill Travis, but make him squirm about supporting a liar and a murderer to the point where he was willing to perjur himself in court.

Someone on HLN is saying that Matt McCartney forged the pedophile letters.

I thought it was her brother that was with her, but I don't remember who claimed that.

I'm watching NG and she said something about JA thought she got one over on the jury, then showed a clip of JA holding a laugh in. Does anyone know what question it was? She started smiling and almost laughed. She had to look down.

I think that combined with a statement from her attorneys saying to cut it out altered her a bit. But she definitely still had the same demeanor - just less obvious and pronounced. I LOVED seeing him get to her!!! I love how much she hates that she is no longer in control of what is said and the perception given. Excited for next week!
Look at Samantha. I was so happy to see them get their turn at even a tad of satisfaction watching her get the Juan guns pointed at her.

Can anyone tell me how they use the psych profile? Could the psych evaluator take the stand for the prosecution? If so, what kind of information might they provide?

I was wondering this also. You'd like to think that a defense team would have the resources to comb through everything in advance. I guess with her there's just...so...much. Yeah, they looked surprised.

I kinda felt that too at first, but immediately followed thought was, they are such a deceitful crew, probably just sucking up the clock
Then I decided, ( we know they had them, knew about them, no discovery violation fights) and the dummies MISSED what the importance of them were! I'm going to guess they missed the fine print and asked their lying client and she played dumb liar with them. hahahaha. I lean with this one because after this, her team wouldn't even look at her.

I think it was after Juan asked her what makes her forget & she replied something like people like You (JM) & TA yelling at me, it gets my mind scrambled ... something to that effect

    1. For guilt phase - each side will battle the poor abused victim theme
    2. For penalty phase - Def will present boohoo don't kill her she had a rough life

You're right. It hasn't flown so far but that doesn't stop Nurmi from trying to put wings under it. The blood evidence shows that Travis was conscious and felt every cut and stab right up to the time she slashed his throat. So now Nurmi is trying by a 'technicality' (the alleged Perjury) or by convincing the jury that Travis was unconscious when Jodi Arias used the knife. Jodi can't help him. She blanked out!!!!! She's also caught in her own earlier lie(s) that she thinks Travis was alive when she took off from the house. Jodi didn't know the law. If Travis was alive, Jodi is dead!!! That's what all the sparring was about between her and Juan Martinez on the subject of whether or not Jodi was being "monogamous" when she was rolling around with Ryan in Salt Lake the next day. If she believed Travis was alive when she ran, then he must have known what she did to him and felt every cut. That meets the Death Penalty Test.

Hmmmm...are you sure you want to engage in conversation with the likes of me? I'm okay with it as long as things don't go personal

I'm going to re-watch the trial over the next few days and I'll be watching their demeanor. I'm sure the mags were amongst the pile of evidence, but yeah I'll bet she never brought this to their attention.

I don't see the DEF trying to make him unconscious because she and her team went into great detail about how he was conscious 'wrestling' her.

If you like to consider theories here's a new video inactment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIvC0jIdzRs

So, we won't see this testimony in the rebuttal?

I have no investment in the case or anyone in it or following it. I don't make an effort to hurt anyone. If I did inadvertantly, I am sorry. I am well aware my language skills are lacking. I am not a smart person, the mind is aged and not what it once was, vocab declined. But I am grateful to discuss common interests here. If I appear ungifted in my word selections, I would hope others would give me the benefit of the doubt before taking any offense. I don't deny strong opinions, always had those. When you've known the hand of violence by the time you could walk, it colors strong opinions.

The defense has been totally silent, (as has Jodi) about the cutting and stabbing. That's the issue around which the Especially Cruel Aggravator/Death Penalty revolves. The wrestling and fighting testimony is put in there to shore up Jodi's claim of 'self-defense' which, if it flies. gets her off everything. Think about it.

We most likely will. Rebuttal is limited to what the def addressed so ... if the DEF brings in their experts (which we know they will) then the State can bring in a 'rebuttal witness' to argue against that theory. I always saw these kinds of experts boring and modern juries comment more and more how experts are tending to cancel themselves out. Laymen get told two complete ends and just say to heck with it as any important factor. Unless we have a bleeding heart, or woe is me abused victim in the jury that can't get passed their own situation.
I mean no offense! But my view as someone that had lived the life .. imo, too many people and yes, 'victims' only focus on that blame of the other and never ever take responsibilty for their choices in living that way. I don't feel that way myself. I can admit I played a big part in my own (adult) abuse. I also think looking within on what part I am responsible for was the only way I was able to change and not repeat those choices.

They weren't completely silent, we have Killer testifying, putting the knife in her hand! Dropping it, hearing it clank. Thanks Killer. Basically trying to twist the laws around by making the killer unconscious (blacked out lol). I think we are agreeing.
