yeah I would have to go back and review more footage from yesterday to see if I can find the tan shirt lady and blue shirt lady (Ann). I don't have time though. It appeared someone in the front row of the gallery (behind the wall) was one to leave at that point. I do think something is fishy there.....

ron! now we know where to write!!!

to me it seems like it could have been two messages. interview was excellent! must talk ASAP. doesn't seem to fit the context of the first part and using asap twice in the same message seems odd.

maybe she got away with it once with the interview part and it empowered her to pull the same thing with more incriminating stuffs.
There was another line in the message--a name and telephone contact number of an ABC reporter. Maybe the message about the "excellent interview" was meant to be sent to him. Perhaps that part of the message was for him and Jodi told Ann Campbell verbally to contact him. She wouldn't have to write those instructions in the magazine.

oh ok. with the longish blonde hair? looked like she was putting on chapstick or something and holding up her cane. No clue who she is either or why she would bolt all of a sudden when things were getting good.

You think jodi has a full bush now or is she able to trim it up in jail?
And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

I'm sorry to bring up more of the sleuth website stuff, but does this not sound like a very good idea or is it just me?

So after court we walked out (Me, Anita, Katie) to go get a drink somewhere..some alcoholic and some not. You can guess who had the cocktail. lol

We talked to the family on our way out. Then this defense attorney approached Katie as he's been watching her (she's getting her own fan club now..she gets approached all the time) and we ended up inviting him. He used to work with Nurmi and Willmott so we were picking the heck out of his brain. As we all agreed "everything that's said on this couch stays on this couch" can't repeat what he said but it was all interesting. I was surprised I found this defense attorney interesting and fun to talk to. he does a lot of DUI cases..so Anita and I got his card. LOL
Not like they would have this insider information, it's just weird to me.

thanks, probably like the mistrial where the judge had to explain to dipshit Nurmi he was repeating rubbish the court had already ruled on (turned down)
I realize he is a def atty, but going for shit that the court has said denial shows lack of skill in his field imo.

When they moaned about Flores before, he should have read the Supreme Court cases Judge Stephens reflected in her ruling, he'd know an officer's 'mistaken' is not significant.

Yeah, but they get those awful single-blade disposables.

    Think:

FWIW all the trial attendee reports I read do not indicate this happened and one stated it did not when asked.

Even that is suspect. Who the hell wants a magazine back when they are done with it?
Juan was making it a point to show, these were MAILED directly to Jodi not anyone else. That is why the publisher sticker was pointed out under the Elmo. There wouldn't be any way to bring things into jails. They can have mags and books even in prision but they must be mailed directly from the publisher.

If you start watching at about 3:23:40, there will be someone in the gallery get up and leave once Martinez goes to pick up magazines. She's wearing a tan shirt and has a cane.

Some of the article was written years ago, but it says they spoke to Donovan yesterday about the trial, she has some nerve talking to the media after her girlfriend's name was brought up in court no mention of that though.
Bullshit. Jodi doesn't believe she should be punished, at all. If she did, she would admit to what she did and apologize for it. She has no guilt. All she cares about is saving her own ass.

And if -- heaven forbid -- she would be able to walk somehow -- she would be celebratory and go on with the rest of her life. She doesn't give two shits that she brutally murdered a man.

As for deserving the death penalty? Why not Jodi, you gave Travis the death penalty. At least for you, you would just drift off to a peaceful sleep; not be hacked to death by a bloodthirsty psycho.

Oooooooooooo how appropriate that it was CASEY ANOTHONY on the front of the STAR magazine shown in court today!!! Wow.

Quote from attendee: HOLY ****! (Excuse my lingo) Casey Anthony on the cover of the Star Magazine!!! Soo Apropos! You KNOW Juanderful left it on the projector with her photo there, just to rub it in. I didn't hear it, but was told by TOK that the back row all sort of softly groaned when they saw CA, like "oh yeah, don't remind us of THAT verdict."

It would be amusing if it wasn't just completely deranged. It's bad enough that Jodi doesn't think she did anything wrong, but she has a whole fan club of people who agree with her? Those people should possibly be monitored for their own psychotic tendencies.

Who would support a bloodthirsty psychopath except someone with severe mental deficiencies and no sense of right-and-wrong?

I think she actually may have inadvertantly admitted the motive for her killing Travis. She felt betrayed. That was the word that came to mind because that is still how she feels today. I think she still feels justified for killing him.

One of the worst feelings a girl can have in a dating situation is that her mate is ashamed of her and isn't "open" about their relationship. I think Jodi reeled him in with sex, but opened him up to shame in the process. I think Travis struggled with the relationship because he was lovin the dirty stuff, but deeply conflicted by it and probably shed some tears over it in private. It was like he developed a porn addiction, and was leading a double life and I'm sure he was probably hating himself a little for it. If you continue to be with someone that makes you that sad (conflicted), you're going to be deeply ashamed.

Jodi knew he was ashamed. And she felt betrayed because of it. She should be the poster child for why you should not give it away. Not just because sex is sacred, but it can really fuck things up. This was the perfect storm. He knew the second she seduced him that he didn't want to marry a girl like that. She knew the second she seduced him that this was going to be the man she would marry.
    Well said

I lived in Pacific Grove for 4 years (tiny coastal community; Darryl and I worked at the same place but I didn't know him, I think he was employed there after I left). I made trips north and south from Pacific Grove, and I have no recollection of ever having to drive into Salinas to get to the 101. You can connect to the 101 via Highway 68 to Highway 1 to Highway 156 and then directly onto the 101.

Also, being very familiar with the Pacific Grove and Monterey area, there are TONS of places in those tiny communities to get your hair and nails done. Very good places. There wouldn't be any need to pick a random spot in Salinas. Sure, there would be a lot more places in Salinas than in Monterey or Pacific Grove, but if I had been in her place, I'd have just gotten my nails done right there in PG, hopped on the 68, and headed out.

I dunno. Maybe I'm overthinking her strategy because I'm still really homesick for Pacific Grove, but her story about going into Salinas just seems "off" to me. The only time I ever went to Salinas was to go to Walmart since PG and Monterey have (so far) refused to let one in and the one in Marina wasn't opened yet. I can't help but wonder if she didn't have another reason for going to Salinas that day, but we'll never know.

I do note her Walmart receipt for the gas can is the Salinas location...but why not just say she had to go to Salinas to go to Walmart instead of the whole "I had to get my nails done to look nice for Ryan" yada yada yada story.

    Fuckery abounds, apparently.
This is not the first time Jodi has said something that is completely not right in regards to driving. Very early on she claimed it was a 10 pr12 Hour Dr. from Monterey to Yreka. She said salinas to Monterey was like 3 hours and and monterey to Yreka was 8 or 10. I google mapped and it was like 6 hours total. She loves to make up these long drawn out directions to places via 4011 places of interest or to visit friends.
