That makes more sense. When I read the "recipient" I was thinking maybe Ann's name was on the address label. Jodi must have the subscriptions and then gave them to Ann. Makes more sense with the Ann being interested in photography and that's why she was giving them to her bullshit.
The guards must have immediately taken them away from her then. To be a fly on the wall for that if they got reprimanded. I would think there would be some kind of policy where ex cellmates and prisoners can't come in a fraternize with their homies.

If Nurmi wouldn't have done that-I really believe Jodi would have went right off the tracks. That girl has a lot of anger in her. JM knows that and he is trying to expose it. Nurmi has a hard battle with Jodi, but he is trying.
JM is dealing with a known liar. She's been practicing her lies for years. His first approach yesterday was brutal, but I really think that's the only way you can approach a liar like Jodi. It has to be fast and hard. I was scared at first that JM was going to jump all into the evidence with no clear timeline going on. I slowly realized that he struck fast-then slowly started to lay everything out in order. He hit with Jodi's dumb sister first b/c when she made that statement-it was one of the only times we seen real emotion from her. He wanted her to be pissed off right from the beginning. LOL

I also liked the description of all the jury members. Such a mixed jury. LOL There's one nicknamed pony tail b/c she wears a pony tail all the time. No makeup and sweats. to me it seems like it could have been two messages. interview was excellent! must talk ASAP. doesn't seem to fit the context of the first part and using asap twice in the same message seems odd.
maybe she got away with it once with the interview part and it empowered her to pull the same thing with more incriminating stuffs.
Here's the ruling on the Aggravating Factors, (Especially Cruel, Heinous or Depraved) where the State of Arizona won the right to seek the death penalty.

The Ruling determined that the killing of Travis was Cruel. (Heinous or Depraved was ruled out. (But it really doesn't matter! If you're in for one, you're effectively in for all). The basis of the Cruelty decision was the claim, (Flores Testimony) that Travis was shot first, but that he regained consciousness and was aware of the stabbing and cutting he was suffering for a short period of time before death--Especially Cruel--hence Jodi is eligible for (subject to) the Death Penalty. Nurmi is bringing the Perjury Allegation against Flores to throw out the Ruling that the murder was especially cruel. (He is really trying to win the argument (but he doesn't really need to win it if he gets the Death Penalty Ruling thrown out), that the gunshot was indeed first but it knocked Travis out right away and therefore Travis was not conscious during the cutting and stabbing and thus did not have any awareness that he was being cut and stabbed and did not feel any pain. Therefore, according to Nurmi, Travis Murder wasn't Especially Cruel, and does not qualify as a death penalty case and Jodi doesn't deserve the needle.

I don't think that would have worked. This woman can smell weakness and vulnerability like Nurmi can smell the foulness from under the fold of his belly. If JM would have approached her like the good cop, I feel it would have been the Jodi show pt 2. Just look how she tried to steam roll and flirt her way with Flores. I got a feeling Jodi knew she was in to meet her nemesis. But the scary thing about everything unfolding was she seemed to relish the conflict!
