Travis talking about Jodi's grandpa-JM is accusing Jodi of having a double standard. Jodi agrees with him. JM is bringing up how she has double standands about her talking about people, but not Travis.

Yesterday on the stand-Went over Travis' house. You felt it was okay to go over his house? After he told me. Every time she starts to go off-he is interrupting her. (Oh shit, this is hard)
Jodi did not knock on Travis' door. She was looking at what was going in. Outside looking in.
You saw Travis? No-Then JM yells at her and Nurmi interrupts.

Travis and the girl did not see Jodi. You were watching them? No. I saw it and left. But you saw enough to see them kissing? Yes. The light was on. Light from a TV screen. Jodi left.

Issue with text- Steve. 2 part text message. 1 part went to Travis. Travis got upset. Jodi lied to him at that point? no. Well, you made a fake text message to him? Yes and NO. JM says Jodi was playing a different standard.
How you feel? Isn't that the same way you felt when you were peeking in his window? I don't know. I wasn't mad at Travis. At what time? Either time. It's okay for you to lie about a guy but if it's you-you decide to confront him? Yes.

Sex with other people. Ryan Bruns. You ended up in his bed? It was a love sack. Was Travis dead? It wasn't discussed. At that time you weren't sure if he was dead? Not in Utah, but right before the Hoover Dam. Jodi guesses she knew Travis was dead-she wasn't sure. Jodi thinks he was dead when she was kissing Ryan. She was out of her mind. Roll around with Ryan was okay? I'm single. (what a bitch) It was okay for Jodi.
Jodi felt she had the right to confront Travis about other girls, but not okay for him to confront him

EX 453 & 452- Closeup of Jodi's hand. I guess JM is disputing a previous story of Travis beating her up- and this picture proves her finger was NOT damaged. He made Jodi do her finger again. (LOL) BUSTED!!! She doesn't have a bent finger-but she says she does have a bent finger in that photo. Her poor finger. JM says it's had " a run of bad things" happen to it. She told Ryan about her finger. JM wants to know if she has a problem with memory? She says sometimes. JM wants to know if her stories are "suspect" because of her memory. Jodi had a bandage on her finger when she met up with Ryan. Now she can't remember exactly what finger. (OMG this is so painful) JM is beating her up bad about the different fingers she keeps bringing up in all her different stories.

EX 454 is admitted. The Flores video. It's about Jodi's finger and the cuts. (BOOM-That's the sound of Jodi's story about the finger)
The injury happened on June 4, didn't it? That's not correct.
Jodi said she told Ryan she cut it at work. You told Flores it was cut some other way? YES.
Didn't you say you dropped a glass at Travis' house on June 4? What date. I broke more than one glass at his house. She cut her right finger at Travis' house. Jodi is basically saying Ryan was lying about the finger cuts.

There's a gap between dates. Jodi doesn't write about her finger being broken in her diary. She also writes how she turned down 4 offers of dates.
Jan 20, 2008- The diary entry- Lonnie getting baptized. (Jodi reads slow now) She missed the event b/c Jodi and Travis were having a sex date (the pop rock and tootsie roll event)

The prosecution is making a big deal out of labeling this guy a strict Mormon. His friends and church (and possibly family) only saw that side of him. It's obviously disgusting to a lot of people that he's being portrayed as such an angel.

Just be honest. Yes, he wasn't chaste and was breaking a very fundamental virtue in his religion, but what's worse is that he was lying about it. He was telling everyone, "This chic is stalking me," and then he'd turn around and text her in an inviting way. He was keeping this blog about "Being Better" without any intention of doing so. He wasn't intent on leading a pious lifestyle. He was just fooling everyone while he kept his dirty little secrets.

What I don't get is that after his death, many people are just as blind to his indiscretions and hypocrisy as they were when he was alive. Yeah, he liked sex...and using profanity and sexual expressions, being psychologiclaly abusive, living a double life and lying to everyone, and who knows what else.

I agree. Jodi definitely screwed herself up with this guy and committed a heinous, egregious act which she should pay for and regret for the rest of her life. She exacted revenge on Travis instead of just leaving the situation and waiting for his next girlfriend (or wife) to do it. Imagine what the next woman would have thought if they found his texts and emails depicting his hidden life.

Dirty secrets? The guy liked sex, big deal. I've known dozens of men like Travis, he didn't like anything all that unusual. It may be unusual in the Mormon religion, but not mainstream life. I think religions and there are quite a few, that put unrealistic expectations on the congregation. Then when someone breaks the rules, they are painted as a weak, sneaky, unclean person. I really don't get that. I was in a religion like that because of my family, I was treated like a leper when I couldn't live the life. I don't blame Travis for keeping it quiet, he probably saw like I did what can happen if the church found out. Punishment was up to and including shunning from your own family. That's a high price to pay for liking sex. Sorry if I appear to be picking on religion, I am talking about the ones that treat you like a prostitute if you have sex out of wedlock. I just didn't fit in, it was me not the religion.

I applaud Jodi for holding her own. I know some of you are going to hate and smite me for this, BUT he's overbearing and as has been mentioned, over and over, on HLN ALWAYS attacking all witnesses, whether they are his own witnesses or defense witnesses.

To me, he is a man so vested in his perceived power that he thinks he is entitled to act like a rabid dog. I'd hate to know and deal with someone like this in my own personal life. I wouldn't be as polite as Jodi has been.

I think if you go to NURMI's website he himself uses the words aggressive defence for those who use his services.

That's because people over 40ish, who wear Rx glasses/lenses for distance, can read fine (no "reading glasses" needed), simply by taking off, looking over their Rx glasses. Jodi is 32, not in need or reading glasses for sure. And at her age, if she needs glasses for distance, she wouldn't need to take them off to read.

I've been watching trials for years and NEVER have I seen so much wasted court time. Jodi's trial starts at 10:30 CMT and ends at 4:30 CMT. Subtract 1 and a half hour for lunch, a 30 minute afternoon break, and total trial time = 4 hours a day.

If I have my distance glasses on, I need only take them off to read, with no problem. I also happen to be an ICU nurse practioner, and worked for 5 years on the post op ophthalmology unit when I first started practicing nursing I know a few things about sight, yes, both professionally and from personal experience.

Something I noticed.
Jodi can't remember her "regular, loving' sexual encounters with Travis, all she remembers are the ones that made her feel like shit. Jodi also stated that she loses memory with stressful situations.
Why in the world would she lose memory, and therefore likely be "stressed" about regular encounters, but remember the bad ones and therefore likely be "not stressed"
