Jodi Ann Arias shot and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander to death

When I was 16 years old I worked in a nursing home lugging bed ridden old people, who were twice my size, all over the place. They were absolute dead weight and unable to assist in moving. Dragging a wet person over a tile floor is a simple task. The wounds on his heels were probably from being dragged.

I don't think she accidentally dropped the camera either. I think she threw it. I think she was building her rage during the shower. She was only going through the motions of taking pictures. She was boiling over during the shower. She was angry that he banged her and then expected her to leave. He probably said something like don't you need to get going on that trip. She needed more attention and adoration. She wasn't going on the trip, he was improving his body for someone else and now that he had a new camera, he didn't need her for photos anymore. He was done with her emotionally and she knew it. Even the personal photos they took together don't look like a couple having a good time.

She claims he used sex to de-stress. I'm thinking it was the other way around. I think Jodi is so mentally defective, that sex for her means love. She required lots of attention and lots of sex. She needed her ego stroked and it wasn't happening. All the behaviors she describes about Travis, is simply her projecting her own behavior on to him. He probably had to go along with whatever sexual activities she wanted so he could get her satisfied and out of his house. She was so empty inside with the cancun trip, his dating and her financial ruin that there wasn't enough sex to fill her up.

Thiiiiiiiiisssss. 100x this. The more I watch of her, the more I am convinced she is borderline. Because I am so much like her (her demeanor, and the sex thing) it's downright fucking scary. I know that when it comes to needing attention, I would happily whore myself out just to get attention before I realized I had a personality disorder and make myself keep a lid on it. She loved every second of that attention. So there ya have it...I have Jodi Arias tendancies...which means y'all better be nice or I'll chop you up. (I kid)

I think she makes a valid point. Jodi did well on the stand today as far as making herself sympathetic. Heck, I even occasionally felt sympathy, but had to step back and think about the evidence to remind myself that she's a big fat fatty liar. I think the evidence is too overwhelming for the jurors to buy her sympathetic act, but... I guess we shall see.

Yep. I felt sorry for her too a few times. Mainly because by looking at her, it's like she knows she's dug herself a hole. The only thing she can do now is try to make people feel like she was the victim and feel sorry for her. I know about that all too well.

I won't be watching the live trial feed tomorrow because I have a load of medical appointments, so you won't be subject to my outbursts on this thread. However, I'm going to take some of your time to suggest you direct your thoughts to a more mundane issue that doesn't trigger the visceral responses we experience in trying to understand and explain to ourselves and others the pathological drives that gave rise to the tragedy of the murder of Travis Alexander. Things are usually not as complicated as we make them out to be. In fact, life has taught me, that if things are too complicated they are usually not true. Simply put!?

Question: What is the reason that Travis Alexander continued contact with Jodi Arias after she left Mesa?

Answer: She owed him $6,000.00. I think we can accept as true that Travis was being pressed to meet his financial obligations. He had a mortgage to pay; he had just purchased a new Prius, (probably financed); and, admitted that he was struggling to 'save his house.' He further stated in some of his e-mails that knowing Jodi 'was the worst year of my life.' He had been overly generous in giving Jodi Arias his BMW on very easy terms that was worth at least $4,500.00 cash and she had promptly wrecked it and destroyed its value. He had allowed his business to run down while trying to maintain his normal social and business life and, at the same time, deal with Jodi Arias's relentless intrusions. I suppose he had enough hubris, (what young man doesn't?) that he thought he could handle everything but, at the end, when he told her to just leave him alone he was almost at the breaking point. However, Travis still hung onto that vain hope of getting the $6,000.00 Jodi owed him. So he continued to maintain contact with her, to find ways to be nice to her, (while holding his nose), and to put up with her craziness. That was all the opening she needed to stay in his life 'till she finally took it from him.

Dear Diary,

Finally we were back in court today. I really missed all the attention. At the jail I make the other girls pay attention to me, but alas, there are no cameras there, so it just isn't the same. Luckily, I was able to steer clear of most of the Travis talk and keep the focus on me, where it belongs. I am able to show a lot of equanimity while discussing the events leading up to how it all ended on that nearly catastrophic day. It it easy to do this because, let's be honest, it really doesn't upset me that much. This entire thing is Travis' fault to begin with. He is the one who made me drive there and kill him.

I came up with this great idea. I am going to pretend that I am not able to remember everything that happened. I have successfully indicated that I sometimes fall into a "fog like" state of being. Everyone needs to remember that I am the victim here. I am the one who is loosing sleep. Everyone knows that sleep deprivation causes memory loss.

Nurmi made me so mad today. He displayed that awful picture of my booty hole again. That is my least favorite butt hole picture. I told him that I have many, many more he could use, but he insists on using that one. I even volunteered some of my recent artwork portraying my butt hole, but again, Nurmi said no. That man really exasperates me. I should have stuck with representing myself.

Speaking of idiot attorneys, I can tell Martinez is really starting to fear me. Sometimes I use my good eye to stare him down with a death glare. No one notices it because my other eye is looking somewhere else altogether. But, Martinez knows I'm looking at him. And HE is the one who is starting to shake with fear like a Chihuahua.

I better get going. I have a lot to try to forget before I am asked about it tomorrow on the stand.

-When the jury comes in it seems like she is trying to make eye contact with each and every single one. She is really trying to connect with them. Can't say that I blame her for this. It's just very noticeable today.

-Martinez starts off with an objection pretty early. LOVE it. I hope he does this more. Yes or no questions should have to be answered yes or no. She gets off on way too many tangents.

-Wow...fake tears. And so early. Again, can't blame her for this...just find it super annoying.

-Oh my. More with the shaking. Then she says Travis was like an "earthquake" in the next sentence. I actually laughed out loud when she said that.

-Jodi's mom and aunt walk into court late and are all smiles and laughing. Seriously? I just can't comprehend that. Also, the red head chic next to the mom drives me insane. She is a big eye roller and smirker at Martinez. She needs to GTFO of that court room if she can't control herself. (They aren't showing her as much today, but I've noticed it a lot in the past.)

-Sounds like Jodi was texting and driving. Why am I not surprised?

-The judge looks so exasperated when she has to deal with Nurmi on all the approaches. I feel sorry for her for having to listen to Jodi all day and deal with the Nurmi being so ignorant.

-I remember someone posting something about Jodi trying to connect with a specific juror. There were several times today when it seemed like she was really trying to focus on a specific individual. I hope it's not working.

-Jodi said, "I tried to keep my dating life separate" in regards to Travis and all these other dudes. So, that's her definition of "monogamous." Got it.

-Jodi saying over and over again about Travis and his "pure wrath" is laughable. Jodi showed what true "pure wrath" is when she butchered Travis.

-Nurmi is such an idiot. I love how he tries to get all loud and hostile when Martinez objects and the judge sustains it. He comes across as such a tool. I can't imagine the jury being impressed with him. Oh, and his watch is just as big and dumb as he is.

-All these texts show is that Jodi was the one who manipulated and tortured Travis with her game playing. She put him through hell. I don't know how he could put up with her. I think he had a true "emotional" connection to her because she was his first. She exploited that and kept reeling him back in. I seriously don't think these text messages are helping her at all. Bottom line, she has no case. Nurmi is just grasping at straws that don't exist.

I knew she had zeroed in on someone. I see her peak at them immediately after she flashes "deadly Jodi" face at Juan's objection as she's getting ready to speed lie. When it's Jodi time, she does not appreciate being interupted.

My husband and I believe all this shaking nonsense it setting up for her to have a medical incident, their secret weapon, when Juan rips into her. They're going to say that Juan's aggressiveness is irritating her PTSD that resulted from bs Travis abuse, and therefore, the duh-fence can use the medical incident to take the wind out of Juan's sails, and they will then implore the Court to make Juan be more gentle with her.

On that sleigh bed, it would be possible to tie rope around the section of the headboard just below the top edge of the mattress. The wood is not completely solid all the way down. There is a post on each side, but it ends below the top edge of the mattress, several inches below. You can see it in that picture.
