That is not entirely true.
We had a forum member that had naughty pictures on her phone and she allegedly sent them to EVERYONE on her contact list, including family members. Or.... she had an ex-boyfriend who worked at the phone company and he sent them out to everyone. An interesting scenario to say the least.
This morning was a huge disappointmentthey better get to it.
I'm anticipating in 2 weeks JM will finally be able to come in. I was thinking of having an mma style party gathering because its gonna be a bruiser!
Can anyone do a mock up 'tale of the tape' between JA and JM?![]()
I think Nurmi is fixing to get to it. They will finish that last text message up-then move to the grandparent's gun. I think sometime tomorrow will be his last day.
Listening to HLN talking heads. Truly this relationship sounds like a 15 or 16 year old's drama fest. Gag.
More lies. She said he was borrowing money from him, yet he tells her that her account with him is overdrawn.
That is the main purpose of all of this extended, seemingly irrelevant testimony. No one on the jury is likely to make rational sense of the contents of these endless and chaotic e-mails and messages. They are simply the vehicle Nurmi is using to carry his real message into the jurors' minds. The wagon hauling the horseshit, it you will. From the beginning, Nurmi has been seeding all of Jodi Arias testimony about Travis' character and behavior with terms that are used to describe the traits of an abuser. Jodi used "Jekyll and Hyde" to describe Travis a couple of sessions ago. Where did that come from?
Your husband is right. It's a strategy. I wish I had taken notes. However, we will hear every one of these buzz words again and again when Nurmi calls his Domestic Abuse Expert. He will bring it all back in to elicit from his expert the opinion that, taken together, all of these 'words' define the classic domestic abuser, a.k.a., Travis Alexander. I first started to catch on to the focus of the defense strategy when Jodi Arias gratuitously tossed in a throw-away reference to Travis's "Jekyll and Hyde" personality at the end of yet another meaningless response. That was one of her jobs for the day. Classic! Right out of the abuse manual! It sure didn't come from Robert Louis Stevenson. Jodi is glib, but she's not well read. In fact, she's kinda dumb. Last week, on ABC, I think, the New York shrink called her stupid.
This seemingly tiresome and irrelevant stuff will go on until Nurmi has managed to seed Jodi's testimony with every term/description he can think of that any Domestic Abuse Study has ever invoked to describe an abuser. Nurmi will try to stick them all to Travis. They may not all stick, but some of them will. Then, by default, Jodi becomes the victim of Travis abuse. That's her only hope for an acquittal or conviction on a reduced charge of 2nd degree. It's up to JM to refute it all.
I agree that it is certainly possible to send texts to the wrong person. I once texted my son asking if he could do something. He never texted back, and it kind of irritated me, until my daughter, who was with me at the time, checked her phone and was like, "MOM! You texted that to ME!".
So I know it's possible if you have several threads of texts in your phone and accidentally pick the wrong person to respond to. BUT... I have sent a lot of text messages, and that is the only time I have done that, so odds are, it wasn't accidental AND she lies and is manipulative. So. I don't buy it.
"...Jeffrey Dahmer... actually confessed and accepted his punishment. Had real remorse for the sick things he did. It's pretty bad when Jeffrey Dahmer is a better person than you are." ~Justice11 (re: Jodi Arias)
could the extra gas cans have been to use as fuel to burn his house down but she ran out of time? that would have destroyed the body and the camera and the evidence. plan B had to be implemented, rinse the body, throw the bloody stuff and camera in the wash and get out of Dodge.
Oh, hell, I forgot we now gotta listen to the butch dyke domestic violence expert, where it's obvious in her training, if you have the Y chromosome, you're WRONG. I might be stretching. Maybe JM can get a nugget of objectivity out of her and state men can be equally if not more abused. Just like travis was on that 2 way street.
