I have known people in relationships like this, and even nice people can become mean and nasty when the other person in the relationship is constantly jerking them around and manipulating them (like Jodi leaving the drawing or "accidentally" sending messages or whatever). I get the feeling that Travis was the one who was being emotionally abused. He was responding in kind.

Text messages- She reviewed the text. It was her plan to spend time with Travis that day. She was expecting sex to happen. Text messages in Feb.
EX 442- Text messages about a school girl outfit and spiderman underwear. Travis wanted her puss to be hairless.
EX 443-March 30 text message. (oh geez, she's crying) a text about Jodi hanging up on Travis b/c Travis was cussing at her. (State objects saying it's hearsay)

Approach (judge) ( I don't see any of Jodi's family in the courtroom)

EX 443- She has to read it to herself and not out loud. Did you say you were sorry to Travis and have a great day? YES. I just wanted to end the back and forth.
How did this effect you? I would start shaking again. It's like an earthquake.
Were you afraid? YES, not for my physical safety, just emotional. I didn't want him to call me names or cuss at me.
Describe how it effected you? I felt bullied. Miserable. I didn't stop talking to him. He was mean, nice, mean, nice.
State is objecting again to defense's move to enter EX 443.

What did that mean? He wanted to know who Marie was.

EX 448-Objection from the state- Admitted- Travis was mad. Jodi was scared. Travis though Jodi was liar. WHO THE HELL IS SAM????? (that name just comes out of left field) I guess Jodi was scared of Travis and his reactions.

Jodi says Travis got into her email before and found a message from Steve.

J says- She says she loves him and is moving on. She's sorry.
T says- He calls her a real piece of work. Says she's like her mom. Talks about how she won't pay him for the car she wrecked.
J send Travis the second part of the text message she meant for Steve. (a fake one)
Jodi doesn't know why she puts up with Travis.
