This is why I think that he was shot first:

If Travis was attacked with a knife in the shower, think about it...think about the motions that happen with stabbing, hand stabbing down, hand quickly going back up again, hand going down, and back up again. Blood, mixed with water would have splattered onto not only the ceiling but onto the upper walls of the shower. The shower head itself would project downwards too much to clean any of this splatter off. No such splatter happened.

I think that after she shot him and it did not kill him, in her sick and twisted mind she thought he was coming after her (don't blame him, it was HIS self defense to do so) and she panicked and started stabbing him. Why she had a knife when a gun would have done the job? I cannot answer that, I really do not know. She chased him down the hall, stabbing him, and then slit his throat at the end. Then proceeded to drag him back down the hall and shoving his body into the shower.

He suffered a great deal, and she deserves the death penalty for it!

As for the blood spatter, I'm pretty sure that's what the plastic cup was for. I would imagine she used that to rinse off the walls of the shower. I reallllly don't want to get into whether the gunshot came first or last (I will always vote for last) but I just wanted to note that blood spatter on the shower walls could have very well been rinsed off. As for the blood spatter getting to the ceiling, I'd imagine since the shower was still running, that could deflect it from reaching the ceiling.

He wasn't more than 50 pounds heavier, and even an inch or two shorter (Daniel Freeman testified about him being shorter). I mean, this guy wasn't an NFL linebacker, and she was neither petite nor weak at the time (she's lost weight in jail). Ryan Burns (man in Utah) testified that she was strong enough to lift him (though I doubt she could do it today -- he's obviously much heavier now).


I have no troubles believing she was physically capable of doing what she's sworn under oath that she did.

The gas cans had me skeptical of her innocence for a bit, but come on. Makes perfect sense. If she gets stranded on the old freeway and needs to walk to a fuel station, boom, she has containers so she can carry her fuel. She placed her phone in a cupholder containing hot cocoa. Shit happens. No phone, no AAA, gas cans are going to come in handy.
