Would JM be allowed to, for example, play clips of audio, video, or text (email/ blog/etc) for Jodi and then ask her questions about those? Such as playing a clip where she said she was not there, then a clip saying intruders, then a clip of her saying self-defense, and then asking her which is true and why should we believe her answer now?

I think if he could, it would be highly effective to use audio/video of her and make her respond to those, because there is no way she can lie about them.

In the interrogation when she describes the attack by intruders, the detective says, "you started out by saying two white males, but then you changed it to..." and JA immediately says that she never said two while males. At that point, it would have been best to be able to show her a clip of the video where she said it, IMO. And that is just one small example of how she manages to twist and deflect every accusation about her, no matter how small.

i dont know. i have never seen such an annoying trial with delays and like 2 hours of testimony a day.

So im guessing they come back tuesday and will probably take wed-friday off.
And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

This article reminds me of the whole "How was Jodi capable of murdering Travis alone" debate.

Top of page two under the heading of cruelty - the state concluded he was shot first and then regained consciousness later. Interesting.

Sorry. Its not my intent to start the what came first argument again.
And likely this coming week Hodi will stick with this, quoted from p. 2 of above link

"In addition, the defendant told the police that the
victim was unconscious after being shot but then crawled around and was stabbed."

    "Jodi's Tragic Road Trip"

This link is such a great resource to show you exactly how it went down: http://www.hlntv.com/slideshow/2013/...ragic-roadtrip

Look at the events the kick off the trip:
6/2/08 1-3am Jodi calls Travis 4 times, no answer
6/2/08 3am Travis calls back, they talk for almost an hour
6/2/08 4am Jodi calls Travis, they talk for 3 minutes
6/2/08 530am Jodi leaves her house and gets gas, drives to Redding
6/2/08 8am Jodi rents a car in Redding and begins her journey

90 minutes after their last conversation, and with no sleep, she leaves her house on a massive 5 state road trip. It almost seems impulsive, doesn't it? After talking to him for almost an hour (maybe a long emotional or sexual conversation), she calls back right after, (maybe to say I'm on my way), and then packs up and takes off for Redding to rent the car.

Did she already have her bags and the gun packed? What did they talk about that night before she left? The way the events actually happened look spur of the moment and impulsive to me, and go against pre-meditated murder.

It really seems like a daunting task to me, and I am greatly looking forward to it.

I hope that on cross examination of her, he is able to prevent her from straying off into her endless, excessively detailed rationalizations. Will he be able to force her to commit to answers. Or will she just manage to shape-shift her way around any actual confrontation.
Juan out of his chair like a rocket.

' NO! that was a yes or no question just answer it directly.'
Your honor, would you instruct the witness to answer the question she was asked please.

one guy who was interviewed on TV - said he was the one who lent jodi the money to make the trip - said the day b4 she left she was frantic to see travis and asked to borrow the money to go

When she paid cash at walmart, how were they able to trace her purchases/whereabouts?

I thought they were able to determint the Walmart receipt included the hair dye and another gas/kerosene can? what would two bottles of facial cleaner be used for, to clean the blood?

that's the items is appears to be but court didn't verify that ... yet. Wouldn't you love after all the def bs about she dyed in April for the Prosecution to drag in a Walmart mgr to say it was hair dye.

Facial cleaner imo was just that, for her face. remember she was traveling the country, setting fires to burn evidence ...soot plays hell on a gals pores. And she was off on a 4 day trip. Those were normal hygiene products nothing suspect. Wouldn't want road oil sliding her makeup off before she got to hump a new guy.

When I get worried, I remind myself how Juan over joyed me the day of the gas cans with Darryl.

I have the black shoe on shower rail wrong there though! it's the baseboard I now believe.

I've never thought she ran around to get any weapon, there is nothing to support that. Absolutely no footprints or blood outside the bathroom and that one beginning carpet at the end.
Socks shoes whatever, there is no way imo you could trample around that scene killing in the time frames we have and not smear footprints / blood spots further onto the carpeting.

I'm not sure a flash was used in the beginning. I've only glanced at that camera manual but it had something about auto night or low light settings. Need to go over that better. Also, mMy DIL is into photography some and has taken a few photog classes from a pro. I'm going to see if she can lend some input to the condition / variance of these photos. They are out of the country for two weeks though so I don't want to bother her until they get back and settled a little.

I was hoping the prosecution would get a camera expert that knows this Sony. Or HLN wr one of those useless talking heads would get Sony to come talk for us.
No a flash was not used. There is no fill light in any of those pictures. The pictures are too dark for her to have used flash. Even the ones of his side and back are too dark to have used flash. She would have known how to shoot in low light settings without using a flash. I am guessing she had her camera on manual not auto (which in those settings would have automatically used the flash) But she didn't change her settings to expose the picture correctly. It's not hard to take pictures in low light without the flash. You just have to change the ISO, Fstop and shutter to get the correct exposure.

Jodi tries to come off as smart, and I thought she may have saved the receipts to use for business travel tax purposes. But, why the heck would she keep that receipt? Facial products and KEROSENE?
