    Yeah pretty coincidental.

As long as we are in down time, some might be interested in a little of Nurmi's history I found. I posted Juan way back.

I wasn't reading into it too much. Merely just stating a general look of disinterest on his face...relating it to the comment DenverClipper made...

Isn't the judge on Jodi's case Sherry Stephens? She was the judge on this case as well http://phoenix_copwatch.tripod.com/m...ws/cw2528.html She is quoted in the article.

"she said" no offense but ...

Facts from his friends, texts, chats etc are, he started out thinking she was great. Even in the May call we hear him thinking she is a the least beautiful. I don't think there is any denying that this was a difficult relationship for them, both and although part was a booty call there was so much more in this affair. Light and dark sides you could sasy. At one time he did have feelings for her and they got mixed in with sex, sexual fantasties, a willing partner and having to come to reality she was a sneak, lair and things he didn't like. Far more complicated tumalutuous affair than he just wasn't that into you.

She was pretty, and looks ten years younger than she does now at the time of that interview and the inside edition one. The platinum blonde looked really horrible on her though. She was trying to turn herself into a Pamela Anderson barbie with the implants and dye job, and then surprised when she wasn't taken seriously in the mormon community.

Totally agree! She was not pretty as a blonde. I dunno...to me it made her look horse faced and so unnatural. She was very attractive with her natural hair color. I know I'd never look good as a blonde! Wouldn't compliment my natural skin tone. I'm neither "team Jodi" OR "team Travis. I see them both as flawed people who didn't give any consideration to how they treated other people.

Hell, I've been in bad relationships where I felt used and abused. I just walked away, cut the person out of my life (no pun intended), but never considered killing them. The only person I ever wanted to kill was myself.

Totally not a Jodi supporter here, but any loss of human potential makes me sad...and she definitely had some potential. Had she chosen a more difficult path of going back to school instead of trying to gold dig I think she could have done something with her life. Yes, she had mental issues to overcome but I still think she made a choice somewhere along the way to take the easier path, and the rest is history. It also goes to prove the old saying that "Beauty is what is on the inside".

It also goes to show, for the people that think women should always be super skinny and that there's no such thing as too skinny, that she looked 150% better with some weight on her. This is not to bash really slim people, just to say that to some degree we must all deal with the genes we are born with. Sure, exercise and try to eat right but 25 pounds are not the difference between beauty/ugly or happiness/unhappiness.

I see Travis as flawed too, but I think that's the thing that makes so many people pony up to be on 'Team Travis'-loss of a lot of potential. Jodi made the one choice that had finality to it and with it she took away the last of her real potential and all the potential Travis had. He had come so far, and it's obvious he had so much more potential, so who knows where he could have gone with it if she had not killed him. They both made bad decisions but she made a decision that took away the opportunity for future decisions.

yeah the thing is I can identify with how Jodi must have felt, I have felt truly miserable for a long time when I realized a relationship wasn't going to work out. I also can understand wanting revenge against someone you feel has wronged you and feeling like you'll never get over it and can't bear to see them move on without you. But what it took for her to seriously entertain the idea of murder and then carrying it out in what seems like a very premeditated way is what I can't fathom. Add to it the way she has behaved since and it's just incomprehensible. I'm not into taking teams with either of them for the same reason you said though.

Curious how many people here think that Travis knew she was coming to see him on the 4th?

They spoke on the phone on the 2nd and the 3rd, but there are no records of any phone or email contact after 8:32pm on 6/3 between them.

This is a good timeline of her trip: http://www.hlntv.com/slideshow/2013/...ragic-roadtrip

Y'all crack me up. Just caught up on the jibber jabber that had happened since Thursday morning.

Got through a good chunk of it "wow, no one is fighting yet after 3 days of no trial!?" Enter Ron.

Ok, that should have said 8:16pm - that is apparently the last phone call between Travis and Jodi- on June 3rd.

I say he knew she was coming and wanted/invited her there. My reasons:

    1. Nobody was at the house but him, privacy for sexy time & nobody sees him with a woman he considered beneath him.
    2. He was awake when she got there at 4am, obviously waiting for her arrival.
    3. He had no work obligations during the time she visited.

Hmmmm.... well, I am not sure if #3 is correct- he was supposed to be on a conference call on the afternoon of 6/4 I believe with people from work.

#1 - I believe there was a roommate who came home the night of the murder- I want to say sometime around 9-10pm, but I will have to search for that. I also think the roommate might have been home at some point during the day that Jodi was there, but again, I would need to search for that.

on #2 - yes there is proof of computer activity on Travis' computer in the early am of June 4th, but I am not sure that proves that he was expecting her......

Either way for her self def claim, she's going to have to dream up a gun and WHY she brought a gun to a sex session.
I think they are going to try to say that she brought a gun with her because she was traveling to Utah by herself in that rental and needed protection. I don't think she will admit that she stole it from her grandparents either. I wonder how they are going to try to explain away that one was stolen mere days before Travis is shot with the same caliber?? That to me is what gives Juan the premeditation that he needs for the DP. I would be fine if she got life in prison without parole, but I would rather her worry about her execution date and when they were going to kill her. I would like it better if Arizona were more like Texas and actually had a express lane for the DP.. but they don't. Seems like it takes forever for this state to have an execution.

    RIP Travis
