Question for you Candice I have wondered if Travis Alexander might have been a real psychopath in the making if half of what Jody Arias is talking about is true with all that has been stated I am thinking that it is possible that the man was a killer in the making since he seemed to be so twisted and intense; I wondered what your opinion was of Him. Knowing that he seemed to have met a match that was as dangerous as he was searching for (just my impression of the situation with them). He had to know he was arousing with such damage between them the he knowingly it appears was setting up the violence that she exhibited. What a pair brings to mind another case of Bernardo and his wife.
It's a very tiny gun, palm sized. Not good for killing I would say. A few pages back, I posted some YT vids of people shooting a 25. caliber gun. You can see how small it is and how the penetration is nowhere near a larger caliber. It probably would do just what the ME or whoever said; disable, disorient, cause some brain function issues, but it would not kill him. He could very well have been up and moving around after it seems.

I kinda think the pistol was brought so she could suicide herself after she killed Travis, then decided she didn't want to die and might be able to lie her way out of it.Interesting. I think the exact opposite. I think she planned on stabbing him to kill him. That's why she planned it in the shower, thinking it would be easy to clean up. She didn't anticipate him getting away and furthering the crime scene into the bathroom, hallway, etc. Stabbing somebody 29 times (one of them being directly to the heart!) and slitting somebody's throat (ear to ear!) is not something you do on a whim. She had way too much anger and resentment built up inside her to make it such a clean and simple gunshot wound to kill. I think the she brought the gun as back-up and then last-minute decided to use it to 'seal the deal'. (Not that it wasn't already)

I'm not knocking what you're saying, but I highly doubt that Jodi would know how to un-jam a pistol. Plus, of all of the weapons (pistols, rifles) that her grandparents had, she took a .25, which isn't particularly powerful. She wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.

As for the intensity and frequency of these 'sexual activities' they are of interest to me only to the extent that her description of them raises questions about her more relevant 'homicidal activities.' When she testified that she could not easily record previous telephone conversations with Travis, she further asserted, with an embarrassed blush, that 'it was very difficult for her to record and masturbate at the same time, because she requires the full use of the only two hands with which she is equipped to 'engage in this activity' and is therefore unable to press the record button on the telephone while she is so engaged. Not a very important bit of detail I admit! However it does prompt a further question, "How many hands does Jodi Arias require to wield a knife, a gun and a camera at the same time when engaged in 'homicidal activities,' i.e., as in killing Travis Alexander. Perhaps Ron can answer this. Do you think Jodi is concealing something from the rest of us? Is it possible that she has a third hand? Could that be her hidden helper that she brought out to assist her on that unfortunate day in the bathroom off the master suite in Travis' house? (Yes Ron. He owned a house--not an apartment).

Does anyone know if this is the case? That prosecution's Exhibit 1 was the police report regarding the stolen gun? I've read it at least one place, but I was not watching back then.
Right, my guess is she picked the .25 because it was the smallest and easy to slip in her pants pocket. I doubt she had any knowledge of all about how much damage it could (or couldn't) do.

I was listening to the radio last week and I heard an interview with a woman, who, I believe was introduced as the "Co-Executive Director of the National (Centre) of Domestic Abuse. The topic was Jodi Arias claims to be an abuse victim. This woman was adamant that Jodi Arias was not an abuse victim and vehement in her assertions that "Jodi Arias shows absolutely no signs of abuse" and is "doing a great disservice to genuine abuse victims." This woman apparently came into her role in the organization as a result of having earlier rescued her daughter from a horribly abusive domestic situation.
That's all I've got. I'll rack my old brain to see if I can recall more. I'm confident Juan Martinez has access to credible experts. At least, I hope so!
This is my feeling too! At least own it. You obviously enjoyed it. I cant call her a whore or a slut because I sure as hell wouldn't want my life from age 17 to 28 on the stand.
