Wow...this is fascinating. I tried this tonight on Nancy Grace, watching some of the testimony from this week on mute. You really can see this little micro-expressions and vibes Jodi gives off without even having to hear her voice/tone. Hand gestures, turning up one corner of her mouth, swaying in her chair, touching her face, touching her hair...crazy what you can spot when you're not listening so intently! Thank you for my 101 on spotting the gestures! This is awesome, can't wait to spot more mannerisms. Either way, her nuances, gestures are NOT normal of people I associate with. She is so rehearsed and calculated. Anywho! Thanks again, cool stuff! You have a gift I would say! Might sometimes be a burden to you, but a lifesaving burden!!

Her testimony isn't as much fun to do it with because as you say she is reheased and because she has her partner in crime Nurmi. When you get time, try it with her interrogations. There she doesn't know whats coming and Flores is a good player because he keeps the adversary, her "friend" role, then 'I don't believe you' slap to the face then back to soft friend voice then another slap.

My favorite is when he tells her 'you have to make it believable". By this time he had built up this 'friend' role and without thinking she says "okay". LOL

The position that Travis' body was found in the shower doesn't bother me. She obviously dragged him back in there in order to wash off the body. She thought she was getting rid of any of her dna, hence the cup on the shower floor; pouring the water over him and probably washing off her hands.

i thought she went with the "I was not in Mesa" alibi from the CA interview, and the two intruders did not come up until 48 Hours, and after that in a jail interview in Phoenix. it is way too much to keep track of.

One thing I would like to do is post this video.

I admit I am a firearms novice and I have no idea what brand of gun that Jodi uses, but I know it was a .25 caliber. I was youtubing to see some shots from this gun. This is a very tiny pistol, so much so that I watched a kid firing easily, multiple shots, in one video. By "kid" I mean he looks about 12.



The other thing I noticed? Even from only 3-4 feet away, there is not a lot of penetration. The man in this video is shooting at a car door, to see whether it would penetrate.

Obviously a human head is a bit different than a car door, but the metal is not thick and could perhaps show the same results with such a bullet hitting facial bone?

no, i found it interesting! now we can do all that with our smart phones, i just got a new Liftmaster garage opener with a device that somehow links through my router and makes my phone capable of all that, the sales pitch was i could control my garage doors from anywhere in the world. Boy i really needed that feature! Of course the "Liftmaster Internet Gateway" is still in the box.

I don't even want to debate which came came first, stabbing or gun shot. I've already stated my belief based on what the Medical Examiner concluded from the autopsy (stabs, then slit throat, then gun shot.)

It doesn't really matter to me. Either way, she killed him three ways. All in a very brutal and torturous fashion.

There are a few other things I think are inconsequential to the case.

One is if Travis was a sinner or a saint. Either way it doesn't change the facts that Jodi murdered him in cold blood.

Another thing that has become the focus of this trial is their sex life. It seems obvious to me that Travis and Jodi both liked to get their freak on with each other. This does not make Jodi more or less guilty. This does not make Travis more or less deserving of being murdered. I am sick of hearing about their three hole sex life, their sex tapes , nude pics, and sexual history.

I can't wait until Martinez takes this trial back to where the focus should be. Jodi, with premeditation, murdered Travis in cold blood because if she couldn't have him, no one else would either. The evidence supports this. All the rest is just distractions to try to get the focus off of Travis' murder.

I love trying to solve the some parts, for my own pass time. Unfortunately, it is Martinez that needs that seq stuff for some reason. I hope Nurmi has managed to frustrate the jurors as much as us and the jury just throws the experts to the wind (they often do) and not care which of the three murders took his last breath and call it what it is, premed murder.

It is sad, but I'm not interested in thrashing anyone's character for the sake of it, even Jodi's. I'm more interested in understanding human behavior and what makes people stay in relationships like this and how something like this could happen. I think that's the draw for many to a site like this. We all want to know how and why something like this happened.

I'll be the first to admit that NG grates on me at times. I became so tired of all the Casey Anthony hoopla. Just like I got tired of Greta Van Sustern with the Natalie Holloway obsession.

Especially when Jodi keeps moving it all around. There were two, don't know what they were, maybe two guys, no a guy and a female. They wore all black, well maybe black and blue, ya that's it, one had black and one had blue. Black masks and blue jeans. He has a gun, she had a gun, um, ah, .. 'but Jodi what about the knife' .. oh, she had the knife. But you said she had the gun.

Yes, a .22 caliber pistol is not a very powerful gun. Neither is a .25. She would have to be very close to him and shooting into a soft tissue part of the body to really do any damage. She would have to put the gun right up next to his head, or maybe his heart, and fire to kill him immediately. And it's possible she didn't know that, either. She fired at him, it stunned/wounded him but not enough to incapacitate him. He fought back, maybe knocked the gun away, so she pulled out the knife.

Are you serious??? She said, "okay"????? WOWWWWW...... I must admit, I'd confess to crimes I never committed if Det. Flores was interrogating me! LOL He has such a soothing, welcoming and understanding tone to his voice. I will definitely revisit those confession tapes and check out the expressions and movements. This is just beyond intriguing to me. I'm going to become a full-fledged nerd in behaviors. LOL -- look what you got me into now!
