During Arias's testimony about Alexander's alleged sexual interest in photos of little boys, some jurors took notes, some watched her, some looked down.

No way did Jodi call Gus the night she murdered Travis. If she had, it would've been on her cell phone records and Gus would've been the first person that police contacted.

No way in the world is anyone dumb enough to believe that police, prosecutors etc. wouldn't want to hear from the first person she talked to after she committed a cold-blooded murder.

I also would not have believed Jodi was upset at all, much less upset enough to call Gus and cry. She showed up in Utah mere hours later and was trying to grind on Ryan Burns.

Thank you, I can't get over how her mother never tries to make eye contact with her or greet her or anything. If I remember correctly wasn't CA's Mom always desperately trying to get her attention? I keep thinking that she is making notes for her sure to be published book. What is the point of having family members there to show support if they never smiles, send a loving glance or even act like the give a crap about what you "supposedly went through"?

While Arias graphically described anal sex shortly after Alexander baptized her into the Mormon faith, jurors' focus varied--some looked at her, some looked down, some looked straight ahead, some looked up...

We know that she felt he was someone to turn to when she was in trouble but no way in hell was she going to call before anyone else even knew Travis was dead after she had done so much to concoct these wild "alibis" and deniability that she was even in AZ. Did anyone else notice that last night on Dr.Drew he said that she called him when he was in Vegas because he felt threatened by her? (meaning Travis by Jodi) unless he misspoke

I wish HLN would stop comparing JA and TA to 50 Shades of Grey. 50 Shades was hella boring, but the hyped up sex tape was so much worse.

That stuff was so strange. He was calmly saying "check the phone records, the calls will be there." I don't know what to think?

i find it hard to believe that he would get a call like that and not mention to one person "gee isn't it a shame that travis died" since they work w/ all the same ppl??? he seems like the type of person that likes to be the one who gives the breaking gossip

I did notice, but I presumed he misspoke since he was suggesting that she come to see him and blow off steam.

I think she saw a cute and apparently successful guy that PPL was touting as the next big success, who showed interest in her and she immediately wanted him forever. They quickly jump headon into a relationship really not knowing each other. The more Travis got to know her, the more he came to realize she wasn't someone he wanted to share his planet with. The relationship was doomed from the start. His standing in the church and his image at PPL was far more important than any girl. Marrying a girl that had spent the previous 10yrs going from man to man, with no real breaks in between, would not be appropriate wife material for someone like Travis. It didn't matter if she converted and had a clean slate religionwise, she was still damaged goods. It didn't help that everyone in Travis' life felt the need to put their 2 cents in. If let be, they may have ended the relationship on their own....or at least keep it safely in the open.

Travis was a hypocrite and an asshole. He was using Jodi, but it seems Jodi was agreeable to it. It seems to me Travis was a narcissist and Jodi was histrionic or maybe borderline. Neither one would be very good marriage material. Jodi attempted to manipulate Travis with sex in the hopes he would fall in love with her and she just fucking exploded over the trip to Mexico...the travel was their thing and how dare him to take someone else, especially someone who wasn't interested in him romantically. I don't really care if she thought Travis was a bully...society does not need Jodi's in the world.
    What makes him an 'asshole'?
Because a boy that knew nothing of love from his meth crack head parents grew up to not be a crack head himself?

Have you never made a mistake in your life?

Considering how life started out for him, he was headed to being a miracle. Perhaps headed to redeem himself from this stumbling block.
We'll never know how his miracle turned out because he's dead!

Jodi Arias Is So Crazy She’s Enjoying Spotlight Of Death Penalty Trial, Says Friend

Jodie Arias is “crazy enough” that she’s enjoying the spotlight of her death penalty trial and doesn’t think killing ex boyfriend Travis Alexander is her fault, one of Travis’ close friends tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

Arias is facing the death penalty, charged with murdering Alexander in 2008. She has testified for six days as she and her defense team portray Alexander as sex-crazed, violent and leading a double life, even raising the specter of pedophilia.

PHOTOS: Crimes Scene Pictures From Travis Alexander Murder

But that portrayal is completely wrong, Travis’ friend and former work colleague Jesse Macpherson tells Radar. He wants Arias put to death and believes she’s enjoying the attention of the trial!

“She makes up everything, she may have well of said she saw a leprechaun walk in riding on a unicorn,” Jesse said.

“Part of me wants her to rot in jail for the rest of her life, so she actually does not have any relief or compensation for what she did. But another part of me thinks, ‘Just put her out of her misery.’

“I do think she should get the death penalty.”

Jesse and his wife met Jodi several times when they stayed with Travis. And while they had no inkling she was capable of killing their friend, they thought she was hiding something. Jesse is now convinced the killer loves the spotlight.

“Jodi is enjoying this,” he told Radar about her trial testimony. “She always dressed for attention, every time I ever met her, and she got it for sure and is now relishing the spotlight.

“She is enjoying the limelight and starring in her own movie – she loves taking the stage, and that’s what it is for her in court.

“It is gross, sad, creepy and disgusting. She lies and then lies and lies and lies.”

When Arias first took the stand she admitted to killing Alexander and said she did it out of self-defense. The trial resumes Tuesday after a week of explosive testimony from the 32-year-old, who gave graphic details about her sex life with Alexander, a seemingly devout Mormon.

Arias told the jury that Alexander tormented her emotionally and physically and an audiotape of a sexual fantasy-filled conversation between the two lovers was shocking.

Arias shot Alexander in the face, stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat.

“I honestly think that she is crazy enough to believe that she doesn’t deserve this and it wasn’t her fault,” said Macpherson, from Redondo Beach, California, who along with his wife stayed with Travis in December 2007. They slept in the master bedroom and showered in the bathroom where Travis died was killed just six months later.

“My wife didn’t like her (Jodi) from the start, we always got an odd vibe like she was hiding something,” he explained. “But we live in Los Angeles and that is common here!

“Her eyes were creepy and she was distant and didn’t seem like she was totally present. It seemed like she put on a happy, pretty look, but on the inside wasn’t really happy.”

As for allegations that Travis was a sexual deviant and a violent monster who tormented Jodi even after she moved back to California, Jesse and his wife never saw any sign of his disturbing dark side.

He told Radar that out of the many encounters he, his wife and their friends had with Jodi, “never once did any one of us ever experience where she was hurt or abused or hit.”

“There is no evidence that he abused her,” Jesse continued. “You can make up stories and try to deface his character and turn him into a sexual deviant but there is nothing to support it other than they were in a sexual, consenting relationship.

I totally agree with you. I want justice for Travis but I also think that he wasn't the saint everyone thought he was. And I'm pretty sure they don't think that anymore. Geesh. By what I have read, he came off as a know it all and that his shit didn't stink. But he did not deserve what happened for sure. I really hope Jodi gets what she deserves though. FO SHO!!!

I fear Jodi's story will impact the jury. I hate to admit that some of her bullshit rings a bell with me. I was in a very unhealthy relationship for far too long. I found it almost impossible to pull away from him. I married him after being his g/f for several years. We were married for 10 years before I filed for divorce, which took 3 years to obtain due to his manipulations of the court system. He didn't even want me at that point...He just needed to control the process. We also had a very intense sexual relationship that kept me involved with him. There were strange dynamics involved. Like Jodi, I had a history of childhood traumas..although mine were much more than being beaten with a spoon. I have to laugh at her abuse stories. I also had a history of sexual abuse as a child, that I think played a huge role in my dysfunction.

The one thing that pisses me off about Jodi is that she moved a long way from Travis. That alone could have saved me a lot of grief. She could have changed her number and dropped out of PPL. She had a great opportunity to cut off contact and move on. I think that will be what gets her convicted.

This case troubles me. The last couple years of our marriage, I went to bed each night thinking of ways to kill him and get away with it. At the time I had access to drugs that would have done the trick. These drugs at that time, were not really kept track of. They were not drugs of abuse, but drugs used in anesthesia. I can remember checking outdates on these drugs and wondering if taken orally would have the same effect as being injected and imagining putting it in his food. I remember wanting to hurt him. Torture him really. I am almost 30 years out of that relationship, so I'm able to look back on it without all the emotion distorting what was happening. It frightens me to think I may have been close to pulling a Jodi. Like Jodi, sex was a powerful force in the relationship and it kept reeling me in. During the 3 years of court, there was one occasion where the ex was in my home due to an illness with one of our children. He tried to be intimate, and I was tempted, but told him no. If I would have given in to this temptation, I would have been back in over my head and he would be buried in the backyard by now.

Fast forward to today. I'm remarried, 23 years today. We are very happy and have a decent relationship. It's sort of smooth sailing without the high highs and low lows of the previous marriage. My husband doesn't have an abusive bone in his body. I've never had fantasies of killing or torturing him either. Thank god...lol

Sometimes people just bring out the worst in each other.
Yeah! But you weren't a psycho sociopath--human wrecking balls that bring chaos and destruction to the lives of everyone they encounter. Remember, Travis was the first guy who ever let her get close to him whose life wasn't already wrecked by the time she came along. Just look at the lives of the string of 'boyfriends' she had before she hit on Travis Alexander. Didn't Jodi testify that one slit his wrists after she left?
