2/13/13 Evidence Hearing (Jury is not in the room)
Jodi is wearing a black, white, and purple shirt.
Basically, Sky Hughes testifys that she watchs the trial. She calls JM
after she sees mistakes or to clarify a mistake.
Creepy Dude is released. (Yay, no more creepy dude)
Now Nurmi wants a mistrial due to state misconduct. He wants JM
removed, or the death penalty removed.
The state basically says BS.
Now Nurmi is blah, blah, blah on and on.
(sorry for the short update, but I had a longer one-but my freaking
laptop just cut off with no warning)
The judge-DENIED.

Jodi still on the stand. Defense is still up.

Ex 439- Jodi is reading it to herself. It's an email Jodi sent to travis. Travis would get mad if she talked about moving. The email was a reminder to Travis to him that she was moving.
She nexts hear from him the next day. Late at night. She went and met with Gus (creepy dude) Her feelings were hurt at Travis. They had sex the day of the fight. The fight was about the pamplet, Lisa Andrews, (Defense tells jodi there is no reason to apoligze to JM) (state is objecting like crazy) Jodi knew he liked MiMi. Jodi was the other woman. Jodi didn't care that he has another girlfriend. (she didn't say that-that's just what it sounded like to me)
Travis was not having sex with MiMi, Jodi didn't think. Travis sent Jodi sent a mean text. She called him to correct his facts. He was mad about the snitch for Lisa, he went into Jodi's email and she was talking to Steve Carrol. Jodi gave him her passwords. Jodi had his facebook and gmail account. The room mate told Jodi Travis was seeing other people. (hmm, I wonder if Jodi was banging the room mate)
She could tell by the text that Travis was angry. Jodi would start shaking from fear (uh oh, I think she's going to be saying this again) Now she's saying she was afraid of Travis. (she is so freaking stupid) A tingly feeling. Her nerves were frayed. In the text and he was threatening to "you know" and I am going to tell your family about all the crazy things you've done and Jodi threatened him back. Time to spit it out is what Travis said. And Jodi said the only thing I'm going to be spiting out your a pedo. She's talking about how he was a BULLY and she was tired of being a Bullied. He became humbled. She apoligized.
She met creepy dude and drove to Yureaka. She moved into grandparents house. She's 1000 miles from Travis. She started to feel like the cloud was moving-she was depressed and suicial. She was still depressed. Depressed about Travis. She wanted to remain friends with Travis. She still had feelings for him. SHe was still calling him and taking calls from him.
Sex tape-May 10th. Where you still having those chats with him? YES. They happened 3 other times. Why are you still having sex calls? Jodi LIKED IT (that's what she said) He was nice to her. I'm gutting myself (not literally with a knife Jodi-esque, Scottish slang ala lmfao, laughing hysterically, etc) at this in particular, it's 2.20am here, and if I laugh any louder I'll be fired right out the window if OH comes into this room. He should actually be grateful I go into another room.
Actually it's now 2.40am and although I didn't get fired out a window, I've just been lectured as to the madness of being up at this ungodly hour to read about 'a murdering trollop', laughing like an eejit (idiot) and keeping the whole house awake. He's obviously the whole house as we're the only 2 in it. Didn't go down well when I asked if he was Jodi in disguise, I got the evil eye for about a minute, then a slammed door, lol! To be fair he's been quite tolerant of me being up this late so far, I wish there weren't such a time difference. it was the same one thats been going on - that chris threatened gus not to testify, also that he didn't rectrict sky and chris from watching the trial, but he added that martinez yelled an a witness (the horror) - but judge finally ruled and shut all the requests down - no mistrial
Nurmi said Martinez should be kicked off the case and the death penalty removed. He brought up all the old reasons the judge has already ruled on. The only new complaint was that Sky Hughes had been watching the trial and had talked to someone from the prosecutors office.
The judge asked if Nurmi had told Sky or Chris to not watch the trial. Nurmi said he did not. He said Martinez should have done it. Martinez said they were not on his witness list, so he had absolutely no reason or obligation to contact them and tell them that.
The judge denied Nurmi his requests. :)

Wrt to alleged misconduct, Nurmi was all butt-hurt because Sky Hughes was on the defense witness list and she's been following the trial and notifying the prosecutor's office w/ additional, helpful info that she thinks of as well as stuff that random folks reported to the hub on FB. He tried to say that Martinez' office should have notified Sky that she shouldn't be watching the trial, but I don't think she was on the state's witness-list. I hope I got that right--I'm ADD-girl.
So, Nurmi tried throwing everything but the kitchen sink against the wall to see what sticks. Tries to get Martinez taken out, sanctioned... tried to get death penalty thrown out. Poor Nurmi- grasping at straws. Judge denied his claim. LOL.
If you missed Nancy Grace earlier, the re-broadcast is on. Watch Jodi's male cheerleader/potential new victim, Bryan Carr, perform mental gymnastics explaining poor misunderstood Jodi's self-defense claim.
If this shit wasn't taking too long anyways, I would say put Gus on the stand and let him perjur himself. There's no way Jodi called him because he phone was off for like 20 hours or something. And if she had called him, the prosecution and the defense would've found him and gone to him, instead of him having to try and insert himself into the trial.
Jodi should have gotten some Botox around her mouth; might have minimized her inappropriate smirking while she's testi-defiling.
