Gosh, hearing his voice again will have such an impact on his family...and maybe jodi too. Hopefully it will cause some real emotion in her and mess up her act.

After my dad died, I called my parents home and his voice was on the answering machine. His recording always fooled me and made me laugh. His recording said hello, then a long pause before he laughed and said leave a message. The first time I heard it after his death it fooled me and for a moment it was like he was alive. It really provoked a bunch of emotion for me...both laughing and crying.

I think the defense wanted Jodi's father in the courtroom to provoke some real looking emotion on the stand. She hasn't seen him in a log time and he is frail and dying. I bet they suggested she think about him when testifying to things she should cry about
