Something I was thinking about last night....

She is only bringing this up because it is the WORST thing you could ever say about any person. The worst.

I am also thinking that Psycho shower scene that others have talked about may actually be true.

I was driving back from Vegas yesterday and I haven't gotten caught up on the thread yet, but I have a question.

Does anyone know if participating in the media interviews, etc. will preclude someone from being called as a witness? It would seem to me that bringing in some of these people as rebuttal witnesses to refute at least PART of her testimony would go a long way in proving that she's lying on the stand. In particular, Abe Abdelhadi has been pretty vocal in saying that she's full of crap.

I also wonder about whether the roommate John could be called to refute the whole "honey chicken" story. SURELY if he were really home sitting on the couch, he would have told Travis that Jodi was on her way over when he showed up with Lisa, right? And assuming he didn't actually follow her in his car, I would think Lisa could testify to that affect as well (saying his car never left the garage, etc.).

I also heard something interesting on the local news this morning. Apparently, the actual 12 people who will decide her fate will be determined by a random draw of the 18 jurors. The remaining 6 will become the alternates. This was news to me--I thought that had already been determined. I believe he said this was something Arizona does differently than other states, but I didn't catch whether or not this is unique to death penalty cases.

Pedo's are very good at blending in with the world. That's what makes them so scary. BUT, I do not believe Travis was one. For one thing, I haven't heard anything where Travis was always around little kids. I haven't heard where he has had tons of kids over his house. So far I haven't even heard where Travis has any smut books laying around. You would figure if he was into sexual stuff, he would at least have some porn magazines around. Nothing. Jodi doesn't even have pictures of the Spidy underwear BUT I am suppose to believe that Travis just had a bunch of real sized photos of little boys laying around? To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they were Jodi's pictures she took of *maybe* some kid she knew, and she bought them over to show Travis. I can see her saying this "Hey Travis, look how cute my friends kid is" and Travis looking at them, then laughs. No sexual tones meant. Jodi always bought pictures over to show Travis.

I believe Jodi and Travis were into role-playing sex. I believe Jodi when she talks about some of those stories, but where her lies come in at-is when she starts blurring the story from role-playing sex to real life. The porch sex is totally a role playing game. To do that game, they talked about it beforehand and planned it. They would have to because Jodi knew her part to play so well- walk outside-don't talk- give him oral and let him cum on your face-then watch him drive away. This was not some sinister act on Travis' part. It's a freaking sex act. It's an act that they both had to know about and agree upon to carry it off.

Now she's using those agreed upon sex acts between two adults to twist it around and make them sound like Travis was a aggressive perv that treated her like shit. Jodi knew everyone of Travis' fantasies with sex. That how she was able to list them off one by one on the stand. No to the mile high club, but yes on the sex on the interstate., etc...

I guess if a prudish person was listening to couple's sex list-they would be shocked and think these people were killing each other. That's what Jodi is banking on. Jodi is not going to inform these people that it's sex-role playing. That would ruin the story she is trying to paint to this jury. There's no doubt in my mind that Jodi dressed up many times and pretended to be many different characters for sex. I really think Jodi sounds like the freakiest of freaks in bed. There are normal freaks in bed, then there are the ones that like to go over the top and do really crazy, scary shit. I think that is Jodi.

I am also thinking that Psycho shower scene that others have talked about may actually be true. I know it was posted as a joke somewhere-but it kind of makes strange sense. Role playing a movie scene. Jodi told Travis to play that part. They started playing the scene, and Travis was mimicking the parts and Jodi was holding the knife to get these "great pictures"

I disagree. She's bringing it up because she is throwing any and everything out there. She lays in bed at night and thinks up her role to play the next day. She thinks she's a great actress and is loving the role. Don't be surrprise if she comes out in windows drapes and says 'I saw this in the window and had to have it'.

Did anyone watch JVM on HLN last night? She had Gloria Aldred on. Gloria says she believes the defense is setting all of this pedophile stuff up because they will use this as a motive for Travis attacking Jodi the day he died. She said they might say that Travis attacked Jodi because she was the only one who knew about him liking little boys, and he wanted rid of her. It's far fetched but honestly, with what this defense has come up with, it wouldn't surprise me a bit.

i wonder where the jurors minds are at right now. i know martinez is ready to there her ass up (heh), but right now, hating aside, if i knew nothing about this case except what was presented to me now, i could see myself feeling sorry for her and believing her. here on the forum, we see things and can call it (like with the finger shit she pulled yesterday), the jurors do not have that. i seriously cannot wait for martinez to get up there. I do find it somewhat weird if their only comments to each other were 'homo' innuendos. Don't get me wrong, I know a ton of straight dudes who use homo banter with their friends. If this is the only comments between the two, it kind of makes me think there was some homo sexual tension that may have never been acted on. Now, if those comments were few and far between, that's a different story, but the way it is presented here, it appears like those are the only comments between the two.

Maybe it is a sign of their immaturity? I knew guys who did that a lot back in high school. But they outgrew it (or at least, I assume they did). I'm 32 now, and I don't see any of my guy friends doing that at this age.

Juan probably knows his rebuttal witness already. They will be to major points not to salacious minor chatter like TV shows do for gossip ratings.

John, unimportant in the scope of things. If Juan needed to bring in someone for every lie she told we'd be here forever. He doesn't need to show small lies, he has more than show what a liar she is with those tapes. Anything to follow with be on a major point only, like her claimed abuse etc.

A few reasons I don't buy the "little boys" story...

1. Her eye contact with the jury was non-existent when she was telling this story.
2. She hasn't shed a single tear about anything her entire testimony until now--suddenly she's emotional?
3. I don't buy that he would risk doing something like that just minutes after she left the house and without locking his front door and/or his bedroom door. I believe if it were true, he would have been much more careful."
4. The letters that she tried to get admitted into evidence. The originals were conveniently "destroyed" and all she could produce were electronic copies. Why in the HELL would you keep a copy of something like that, but not the original, if you were inclined to keep them at all?

Obviously, the jury doesn't know about #4. I hope they're able to see the cues in her behavior.

I'm not so sure I believe the kiddie pics, either. I'm on the fence. Only because there hasn't been any evidence to prove there was/wasn't any pics. I feel this way because there is some truths to her stories and I can't tell what is truth and what is embellishments. If that makes sense.

Thank you! After reading the comments, I'm leaning towards (maybe) Travis was questioning his sexuality. The comments are just too 'gay,' if you will, for straight guy banter. Eating butt? I have never heard a straight guy use that type of analogy (hee hee I said anal-ogy) referencing themselves. I can see dude A telling dude B that he eats butts, but dude A saying that, he himself, would eat a butt? No. Unless I am having a reading comprehension fail?

I also wonder why he was into anal sex more than vaginal sex. Like I said, I have skimmed a lot of this thread, so I may be missing something. Anyway, from what I read (or think I read) Jodi said Travis felt 'normal' having sex with women, but he was having anal sex, not vaginal sex. Is it because vaginal sex is a 'bigger' sin and not considered actual sex? Or, is it because he likes the buttsecks he wishes he was having with males? He can be having 'straight' sex because it is with a woman, but it's still the butt, which the gay males perform?
