Queen, there are pedo's who don't care about sex. 'Citizen X' was an interesting movie about Andre Chikatilo. He evaded LE for a long time. Very prolific serial killer. Serial killers facinate me. I want to know what chip is missing that causes them to kill repeatedly.

I absolutely agree. She thinks he got what he deserved for daring not to love and want to marry her. She has no regret at all.

I cannot imagine taking anyone's life, even an intruder, and not being haunted by killing another person; even if my life was on the line. But, her life was not on the line. In the documents that WasThinking linked to, Prosecutor Martinez even makes the comment that Jodi was hundreds of miles away and "safe", so that she did not have to kill Travis.

She is just evil. And that's why, I want her to die. I have never said that about another soul in my life. Even one of my ex-boyfriends who actually did physically attack me once. And it was only once because I didn't let it happen again. I didn't know the kind of troubled person he was until he put his hands around my throat. I am 5'3'' and was barely more than 100 pounds then. He was 6'4'' and almost twice my weight. It happened once. I called the police and moved the fuck out of our apartment. I never so much as saw him again after that. I certainly didn't go seek him out.

I have never even said that I want my ex to die. Even though he pretty much tried to kill me.

But Jodi, she truly deserves it. I want her to die. I don't want her to "languish" in prison because I don't believe it's any kind of punishment for her. Apparently she's popular; people believe she's an innocent victim. She eats up the attention and the sympathy. And more importantly, she decided Travis didn't deserve any more time. She decided he didn't deserve to live, to see his family and friends, to be happy. Jodi doesn't deserve it either.

And while most of us wouldn't have a happy life behind bars, I think Jodi is much more afraid to die. She shouldn't get to live to old age. Travis didn't.

I think in some way, we have all dated/been with or at least have been associated with some horrible people, to some degree. She's a fucking insane chameleon and she adapts to her surroundings like the true psychopath she is. No matter where she goes, who she's with or what she's doing, she'll land on her feet, because she's CRAZY. She has no remorse, she's not capable of the feeling. She is happy with whatever she's doing. She still gets to do many things in prison, and even has a girlfriend. She gets to compete in American Idol-esque competitions in the slammer??? PLEASE. That bitch should be in solitary confinement...left to wallow in her own decay, and fed only bread and water until she's taken to the gas chamber, where the room will be floor-to-ceiling, and wall-to-wall pasted with Travis's crime scene and autopsy photographs. That will be the last thing she ever gets to see before being put to death. I hope if she DOESN'T get the death penalty, she at least gets life in prison, with no chance of parole. It still doesn't make me happy that she'll get to have a roof over her head, 3 square meals, hobbies, free time and friends...but at least, she'll never get to manipulate another man, or have children, get married, go on road trips, photograph weddings...nothing. She'll only get to rot in the same building forever. Anyway...glad others share my disgust!

Crazy, I also have found a fascination in what makes a serial killer tick. Citizen X was very interesting movie. My thing is that we all on the most part share a humanity that makes us all see the wrong in butchering someone just because they don't want to make that person their main squeeze. My thing is trying to figure out and wrap my brain around what causes a person's humanity to cease. What makes a person stop being human and become a thing with no empathy or sympathy for another human. The cases that we see over and over of a person stabbing, hacking, abusing another human. Hurting a little kid. I just don't get it. I work around kids all day and I can't stand seeing one cry over tripping on an untied shoe. The thought of hurting someone and enjoying it I just can't fathom.

I know not everyone who gets into a bad situation is able to leave as "easily" as I did. It wasn't very easy, as I had to couch-surf for a while, sell most of my belongings and put the rest in storage etc.

In my situation, it turned into a legal matter. The apartment complex I was living in didn't want to let me off the lease because my bf's credit was not enough to qualify to stay without me. Imagine that, they wanted me to stay in an apartment with someone who tried to choke me to death because of his bad credit. It ended up going to court because I insisted on leaving, which broke the lease and left me financially responsible for a couple thousand dollars. It was tough, but thankfully I got through it.

It pains me to see someone like Jodi cry abuse, when she was most likely the abuser; but certainly not a victim.

Mine are of the natural variety, so I don't have personal experience. However, I know my mom had to have hers replaced, but she'd had them in for like 30+ years and the only reason they were replacing them was because she got them done before they switched to saline. I guess the stuff they used to use can poison you if your boobies POP. (ouch) (I think it was also because she was happy to get a "lift" at the same time)

My sister had hers done about 17 ago and has never had them replaced.

OMG! You poor thing..... What a HORRIBLE experience to go through! I'm sorry you had to live through such an experience, but I am glad you LIVED through it!! You're here, you're stronger because of it...and my guess is...you're a LOT more selective and guarded when it comes to picking a companion, which is never a bad thing!!! Thank you for sharing your story...you're a good example of a smart person who take the appropriate action in bad times. You were responsible and you got yourself out of it. Props to you!

This is what pisses me off about the Jodi being a victim of abuse theme...what kind of "expert" is going to come in and testify that she's truly a victim of a lifetime of pent up abuse and mistreatment from EVERY single person she crossed paths with??? Either she is able to tell the expert exactly what they need to hear, in order to diagnose her as a victim of abuse, or they're all just going to blatantly lie under oath. This is what angers me about our justice system. There's no fucking way to prove Jodi is lying on the stand!!!

Yeah, I did come across that document. I learned a few things I didn't know. Like the fact that those alleged letters were supposedly sent to Jodi, electronically (email I presume) from a 3rd party. And supposedly she won't identify that party.

I can only assume that party was the one who helped her forge them.

Also, that there are no original copies and that they can't really be analyzed to tell if it's Travis' writing; which is something I'm sure she knew. They can't prove or disprove.


I also find it interesting that at one point, Jodi's previous lawyer -- public defender (Victoria something?) -- withdrew from her case. But the reason was something about how the public defender had already defended someone involved in Jodi's case. Anyone know what's up with that?


Also, when the text messages were brought up (3-hole wonder, etc), was it mentioned in court the texts Jodi sent Travis? Because there are examples listed in that document, including telling him that she wanted to have sex, and that her "pussy is wet". If they were only doing anal, why would she even mention her mangled va-jay?

I suspect she took cut and paste from Travis diary.

However, I'd love to know how the prosecution argued they weren't able to authenticate non originals, now we are to believe they did somehow authentic them forgeries.
There are a lot more enteries on this topic w motions on the court site so we are probably missing that important piece. Not important, Jodi lost that battle is all that counts :)
