ive watched the testimony a few times and read it - he never said it was 100% liquid, there was still mass - what the entire cross from the defense was that in the mass that was dissected he couldn't find the path of the bullet and the defense was trying to prove the bullet missed the brain, but the me explained the brain decomposes so fast that there was no way to be able to see it but based on the trajectory on the entry wound to where the bullet ended up, there was no way it could have missed the frontal lobe - but there was never any questions about the decomp of the brain - every one agreed to to the same thing

I wonder that too. I remember hearing something about the fact that this is a death penalty case, the judge has to be very lenient on what she allows. I hate it. Jodi should not be able to do this without any cooperating proof.

He could have been struggling, weak, but trying. He has def deep cuts and there is not way to know when he got those either except before death. He could have been in and out of consciousness at any point. There is no way to know the drag picture is him dead or out of it but alive still.
Part of my hesitation is, I don't believe Flores made up or lied in his probable cause testimony. Or that he is so stupid, he twists things that were never said to him. Something doesn't add up (unless you want to be a cheer leader for one side only). No offense intended, but I don't think the jury is made up of that and you will get minds that question the contradictions.

what contradictions do you mean? whether he was shot first or last? I am not sure what you mean by Detective Flores probable cause testimony? Are you referring to when the defense accuses him of changing the sequence? I definitely am cheering for one side only, Travis' side! No one really knows what came first; people have vasillated on that, but in the long run it is still overkill for self defense regardless of sequence, imo. I don't think anyone could cut a throat like that from the front unless the victim was flat on his back, not moving. It is a clean straight cut.

Here are some things I haven't seen brought up yet...When Jodi was on the stand this past Tuesday, didn't she say while she was at Travis's house, she and Travis were looking at some website regarding the human body, all the body parts, how the body works and location of all organs, etc?? Then she was going through some of the body part pics on the website and "clicked back one too many times" and she was in his MySpace inbox? TWO QUESTIONS for you all: 1.) I thought whenever you went to a new website, and tried to click back into MySpace, Facebook, bank accounts (anything password protected) the site automatically signs you out?? I could be wrong, but it would just go to prove once again, that she had Travis's passwords and was stalking his shit WAY early on. 2.) Um.....a site all about the human body, function and organs?? And this girl was just lucky enough to stab his vena cava????????? It was like she had a fascination with this shit all along!! Do you think she maybe used this site again later on to peg exactly where his main organs/arteries were? Just some thoughts!!

My personal theory is that people are constantly looking for patterns in order to learn (and to avoid being hurt). It's part of what makes us successful as a species. BUT there are not always patterns and a lot of things are just random.

People who want to blame victims think that if they avoid whatever it is that they feel the victim did to "cause" their murder, they can avoid being murdered. But it doesn't always work that way. Sure, sometimes it helps to, say, not walk around a bad area of town at night, but you could be walking down a street in the middle of the day and run into some crazy psychopath who wants to do you harm. Or you could think that if you treat people right, they won't hurt you, but it's not always true.

Zee - This makes me think of the case that was mentioned earlier on her - Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome. I hadn't heard of it before so I read into it. They were doing nothing wrong, just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and suffered days of horrid torture, rape, mutilation and then murder. These were complete strangers that did it to them. Yes, if Travis had ended things with Jodi and not gone on like they did, he likely would still be alive. That's true. But there are no guarantees in this life. Unfortunately, there are very evil people out there who will take any target - even innocent 6 year old children at school! They are all tragic, but the innocent ones get to me the most. Makes me so sad for the base cruelty that exists in our world.

He is not an idiot. I'm quite certain he knows exactly how to do an autopsy. He is not in any sort of conspiracy with the cops or the prosecution.
