I think I read aaron'smommy said something like what I'm about to say, but I couldn't find the exact one to quote. I feel the same way.
Whenever anyone says "I don't think he deserved it, BUT,...." is basically saying he did deserve it. And this particular person "Debra" would let her walk. Seriously? There are some really messed up people in this world.

I just wanted to throw it out there that my heart skips a beat every time anyone uses 'douche canoe.' it makes me so happy to see my favorite phrase spread like wild fire. :)

Jodi Arias is really talkative on the stand and appears to be having a good time. She smiles as if she is sharing the secret to a patent she intelligently dreamed up. You'd never guess by just watching her face that she is talking about a man who she killed in self-defense (no, I do not buy that!).

When I watch Jodi, I see a manipulative, self-adoring, deceptive and cunning person. She has learned to display her demeanor in a way that people think she is a meek little mouse so she can pull of her scheming without notice. Thankfully, one of Jodi's ex-love interests has been on Dr. Drew sharing that Jodi is anything but meek and timid as she wants the jury to believe! He is being completely honest. Jodi? Not at all.

People who play the meek mouse role often don't realize they give themselves away with direct eye contact as Jodi does here. It's flat out contradictory to her message, but clearly Jodi doesn't realize this in her scheming.

Jodi shows many traits of a psychopath: arrogance, self-adoration, supreme belief in her intelligence, lack of sexual boundaries, etc.

Jodi, if you want my opinion, LOVES talking about sex on the stand. She loves the shock value of it and I think that is what makes her smile. I think she has always been one who had no issues making other people uncomfortable.

Another well known trait of psychopathic liars is to blame others for what they themselves do and are blamed for. And here Jodi talks about an ex-girlfriend of Travis who was jealous--when likely she was recalling what people said about her. I've seen this more times than I care to recount.

Did Jodi Arias watch a famous shower scene and tried to duplicate it? In her police interview she explains how she asked Travis if she could take pictures of him in the shower. Something she says she saw on a commercial.

" I asked I told him I could do pictures of him in the shower he's like (um no)" then she laughs. She said, " I have an idea I just have a couple ideas hes like what do you mean and I was like I said I have saw this thing in a Calvin Klein add once and it looked really good and than he said your right and he wasn't really comfortable at first .........."

Seems in her interviews she tells half truths, so maybe she meant the shower scene from Psycho. Both were horrible murders by stabbing in the shower. Either way she was copying something she saw and interested her "artist side".

"Not like a blood-curdling horror movie girl scream",said Jodi on 48 hrs.

I've never been one to jump on a band wagon. I think Juan's heart it in the right place of justice and admire him for that but, reality is, jurors don't see all we see, don't get the facts we get and worst of all, do form dislikes and can tune out the prosecutor because of that. My fear is-- Like the one case where the foreman just didn't like the investigator, or believe Juan's theory .. so many things can go wrong, I never see a slam dunk.

Juan is not perfect. If even one juror didn't like the same things I didn't, perhaps they aren't like me and won't see past those small infractions but let it cloud his credibility and therefore sway their vote.

Flashing the neck picture at Lisa, cheap shot to what everyone agreed was a 'nice' person. I can look past those but, can a juror?
Buying into'posing' bad idea to present to a jury.
Flores lies, can some idiot juror not accept that as a tactic and like the other foreman, use it to doubt the prosecutors or LE credibility.
SO much can go wrong, we won't know until the jurors talk.

Birds is good but not related to this case.
Play Misty for Me I'd recommend .. old film, missing HD quality we have come to know, but imo, very much a Jodi sociopath close to this story line.

I agree with the final thoughts in that video; if not for the camera pictures, she probably would've gotten away with it all.

Sure, they had her handprint in blood which certainly would've placed her at the scene, but some jurors might've bought her stupid ninja story, or the idea that Travis attacked her. But, those time stamps prove that the murder happened very, very quickly. No time for intruders, no time for Travis to have launched any kind of attack; hell there was no time for him to even protect himself much.

They also show that despite the "poor little me, I'm just a fragile little girl!" act that Jody has going on, it's proven definitively that not only was she not a frail little girl, but she brutally murdered a grown man in a matter of 2-3 minutes. Not just rage, but an enormous amount of strength and adrenaline, no doubt.

I don't see how anyone with a brain in their head could find her not guilty.

As for the rest of the video, well this is the first time I've actually seen the interrogation parts. I've just been following the case for a week or so. It's enlightening to say the least. The way that it starts out, she has her arms behind her head, as if she's in a relaxed position. For an interrogation about a brutal murder? Really? She's relaxed?

The the parts that will haunt me, her mentioning "at this point, he's still alive" and when she said he could not feel his legs. That was just gut-wrenching to watch. For all of the pictures I've regrettably seen, I didn't really put myself there and think about what he was thinking/feeling at that point. Imagine what was in his thoughts. Imagine the pain, hurt, confusion. Imagine being stabbed in the chest and trying to run for your life. Imagine falling and shouting out that you can't feel your legs. Imagine knowing that you are going to die right then and there.

That's just horrible beyond words.

And then to see the ending of the video with that skank doing her little yoga pose. WTF was that? Did she think she was going to mesmerize the police with her "magic" hoo-ha?

She is just a revolting excuse for a human being. I wish they still had the chair. If anyone deserves to ride the lightning, it's this sick bitch.

Well, my thing is this. There really is no excuse to murder someone.
Unless you are in fear of your life , or you killed someone is self defense there really is no excuse for killing another human being. My brother was a super nice guy and they stuck it to him good.
That was his problem...he was a little TOO nice.
Travis does not seem like he was a bad guy. I don't see how you can say he was an "unlikable " person .
I mean, none of us really knew him. I don't know if i want to know every sordid detail of why my brother was stabbed.
I don't even care WHY anymore. It's not like it's going to bring him back. I never could understand why people ask why? In my eyes it's pretty much because whoever did it is a fucking loonie. That's all i care to know.

My personal theory is that people are constantly looking for patterns in order to learn (and to avoid being hurt). It's part of what makes us successful as a species. BUT there are not always patterns and a lot of things are just random.

People who want to blame victims think that if they avoid whatever it is that they feel the victim did to "cause" their murder, they can avoid being murdered. But it doesn't always work that way. Sure, sometimes it helps to, say, not walk around a bad area of town at night, but you could be walking down a street in the middle of the day and run into some crazy psychopath who wants to do you harm. Or you could think that if you treat people right, they won't hurt you, but it's not always true.

In my eyes it's pretty much because whoever did it is a fucking loonie.

I'm just checking in and catching up on the day, so there may be several comments already made regarding your post. I just want to say that you have articulated so eloquently the thoughts and feelings I've been having when regarding the trashing of Travis and the suggestion that he played with fire and got burned. I have made numerous bad choices in my past that I look back on and am amazed I am here today. I am now older and wiser, but still somewhere between a saint and sinner.

I don't see what the point of all the trash talking about Travis is.

I admit that earlier in the thread, I was interested in knowing more about Travis. I was surprised by what I learned because all I had heard about him in the past was that he was the greatest guy on the planet. It seems that was not so. I have said before that I probably would not have liked him because he was a bit of a ladies man and he seemed more focused on money, power and prestige than anything else. The truth is, he was not a saint. However, he also was not a total douchebag as witnessed by the many friends and family members who loved him very much.

OK, so that's Travis. Like most of us, somewhere in the middle between saint and sinner. In other words, completely normal.

However, some people seem to want to imply that he deserved what he got (or "should have known better") for treating Jodi badly. The fact is, we don't really know how he treated Jodi, we have only her word for it. And he "should have known" she was going to go all psycho stabby on him? Really? Who predicts that kind of thing?

Who among us have not made decisions that, in retrospect, are bad ones? I have probably almost died several times over for the stupid decisions I have made. Should I have known better? Maybe, but the fact is, at the time I made the decisions, I DID NOT. Hindsight is 20/20, as they say. Then also, judge not lest ye be judged.
