I think they would pull them as soon as they had their eye on her as a suspect. Admissable or not is beyond my scope of understanding. As a layperson, I would say the defense wouldn't have made such a fuss if the prosecution wasn't planning on using at least some of them.

I am watching the link someone posted above, and the part of the convo about how she felt like the interaction with him was not the same there at the hotel as when they spoke on the phone, i felt like they could use it like he was pretenting that there was some kind of connection just to get her to go over and for him to get her to do things, like he fooled her that he liked her (mind playing). does that make sense? thats how i took it.

i don't think she was really interested in anything he had to say... she's mentioned several times how she thought things he brought up were stupid/silly. i get the impression she didn't think he was too intelligent or exciting.

He just cares inordinately about how he is perceived and someone probably brought to his attention, because it is being televised, that Jodi is being brought to areas of the courthouse that are not secured. I bet it happens aaaaaall the time during other trials and nothing is done about it, which is why the judge did not know she was not supposed to be doing this.

If she saved the messages they can retrieve them, if she deleted them back then, no. OR if he pulled them shortly after she was arrested, even if she deleted them, he may have been able to get them. I worked for VZ, they only kept records of texts for 2 years IIRC

So I didn't make it to court today, but spoke to a friend that's a court clerk. Short version of our conversation...

Nancy grace looks like a troll without her "special lighting". She's rude to everyone. (nothing new here)
Jodi is obsessed with her looks, going to the bathroom for "mirror checks".
She watches the recaps of her trial every night on the news and is rather enjoying herself.
The non smokers on the jury sit outside with smokers during break. Hope this means they are bonded!
Lots of talk amongst staff that Jodi had been afforded treatment that other inmates don't get. Don't like this news at all.

That's about it. Nothing exited.

They use razor blades, sharpened metal binder clips, sharpened plastic utensils, melted sharpened plastic from shampoo bottles, etc. They also find ways to make hair dye, make up, dildos, etc. You'd be amazed what a person can come up with when they have nothing but time on their hands and little supplies
