His room said this "Aaron Dewey - Daniel mistated the dates of his mission. He knew Travis before his mission, and then served from 2004-2006. Dan came to live with Travis and me in Travis' home shortly after he returned from his mission. He and his sister Desiree were in fact on the trip to Havasupai in 2007. I was supposed to go with them but couldn't get the time off work. There are lots of pictures from that trip, including some that have been shown on the photo strips that the media has been using. Ironically though, this is the first time I ever heard anyone mention these alleged angry outbursts from the trip. I totally agree. My parents RARELY, if ever, fought in front of us kids. I remember one time growing up that they were upset with each other and I thought that they were getting divorced. When I got married (my husband did not grow up in the Mormon church) we got into fights every now and then and I had no idea what to do. I thought our marriage was totally broken. I have since learned that people can fight and argue and still be in a healthy normal relationship. (I'm not saying knock-down drag out fighting but I was under the impression growing up that you didn't even raise your voice at your spouse.)
I think that they were raised the same way. I still get uncomfortable when people argue in front of me.

Yeah... it's normal to feel uncomfortable when other people argue around you, but the way Desiree said she was "shocked" definitely seems to suggest she's not used to it.

Also, I didn't even put it together during her testimony, but she was like 13 or 14 during this trip? Definitely way too young and innocent to judge what is "over the top" behavior.

No its the Reorganized Church (RLDS) that has sister wives. Mormons used to practice polygamy but its against the rules of the church now. The RLDS church broke off from the mormon church and now is a completely separate church that still practices it.

I was wondering this too. I wonder if you are asked to be a witness for the state/defense, do you HAVE to say yes? Like, why was Travis's ex gf called as a witness for the defense? I'm sure she's not Team Jodi AT ALL. I think the only people on Team Jodi are those that are sitting in the galley. So yeah, I wonder this too.
