I think that would be some measure of punishment. I don't think she's suffering nearly enough. She looks well-rested. My friggin' eyes look like roadmaps. I woke up in the middle of the night and realized I'd been crying.

my stubbornness has me determined to watch this whole afternoon frame by frame. if anyone is interested I can post the best shots i could catch of Jodi's facial reaction after the big picture moment this afternoon. you can judge for yourself if she's actually crying. (consider this though, when you cry hard, like sobbing crying.... would 1 single kleenex keep you going for 10 minutes?)

I can see so far that, that picture hit Jodi's bff really hard. watching her on slow motion is like freeze framing a nervous breakdown. not sure any of Jodi's friends are still looking at her the same after that one. Jodi's mom seemed not fazed at all. odd woman she is. wonder how all her ex boyfriends are doing today cause this seems all part of a routine afternoon to her.

I'd love to see her reaction, posted alongside other's reactions. That would be awesome.

If I were the defense, I would have shot Jodi up with truth serum or put her under hypnosis to try to find an angle to defend this multiple-weapon overkill. I can't see how this whole "Travis is a deviant" thing is going to work.

I'll bet the defense has no clue what happened (according to Jodi), and don't ask her much because they know she'll just lie. This is why I don't believe she'll take the stand.

The judge warned everybody two times yesterday about outburst and graphic images, so that leads me to believe....Juan is going to BOOM these pictures out for just about every witness for the def.that was friends with Jodi. Why wouldn't he do that? He wants to keep pounding home to the jury why they are there. Those pictures remind them of that.

They can't stop her if she wants to speak. If the def. was to rest today....it's my understanding the judge will ask Jodi if she is sure she doesn't want to take the stand.
Her lawyers have probably strongly advised her against taking the stand.

The def has been trying to get some things out there without Jodi taking the stand....but Juan has been right on top of them. Whack-a-Mole. Juan wants to Jodi to take the stand very bad. It's going to be a showdown at high noon if she does. I would also predict....her time on the stand won't be short. It will be DAYS that she will be on.

Have you watched any of Nancy Grace or JVM's coverage of the trial on HLN? They always have defense attorney's and domestic violence "experts" who claim Jodi is a CLASSIC example of a battered woman. How she felt like she had to kill him to escape his grip blah blah blah. <--- is what I feel like doing to them when I hear them spouting such gibberish.

Exactly. I kinda wish that Martinez had suggested that the judge give that warning when things got started yesterday, so that Travis' family wouldn't have been caught off guard like that yesterday. But it is important to remind the jury while the defense is trying to paint Travis as being a deviant cheater, that he didn't deserve to die especially in the brutal manner that he did - which means showing pictures of him on the autopsy table or even bringing back ones where he was found in the shower..... I feel terrible for his family though

I wonder how religious the jurors are or if they were vetted for their religious beliefs. I could see one's religious perspective playing a big part in how a person views this case. I would think less religious people would be better for the prosecution. I mean this kind of thing is par for the course in biblical stories - god smiting men for their lustful ways is commonplace in many religions.

And some Calvinist sects/denominations, which are big out West, are very misogynistic in their views that women aren't at fault for any evils...any sins/shortcomings of women are caused not by their actions, but by the men in their lives who should be leading/controlling "their women" through a life of righteousness.

I went to a murder trial last year. We didn't get to see any if the "graphic" autopsy photos. They passed those around to the jury. I am sure if they would have shown them on a projector half the court room would have bolted. Of course I would have stayed. I'd just be like
