That interview that Fox in Phoenix did was completely insane. Totally making her out to be a victim, such terrible journalism. I'd love to learn Jodi's conversational voodoo in order to make people believe anything I say. She's like a modern day Jim Jones.

The odd thing about this is that Troy has been sitting in the trial (I've seen him sitting directly behind Travis' sister on multiple occasions) and based on his regular reporting on it, he clearly believes she's guilty.
I guess he was trying to get another side to the story, but it definitely comes across a little too sympathetic.
As much as I want to see her take the stand for the lulz, I kind of worry about it. Like they said, it only takes on juror. Going from the stupid questions they are asking I think we have another group of Casey Anthony jurors. Poor Travis' family. It really grinds my gears that he worked so hard to make a good name for himself and now his legacy is being trashed.

I worry about the questions, too. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could see how butchered Travis was and buy the "self defense" thing, but there are a lot of naive people in the world.
They're replaying the opening statements on In Session right now. Listening to the defense, she talks about how sometimes domestic violence isn't physical abuse, but verbal. That's all well and good, but do you need to defend yourself against verbal abuse by brutally murdering the alleged abuser?

Yeah, the two kids who got carjacked. I read a description of what a person who sat in on the trial said the pictures looked like. One person fainted when they showed them. As horrible as that sounds, if someone fainted then I have to see them.

oh fuck, I mentioned this another thread, but I made the mistake once of google imaging "Nick Berg" to see what he looked like alive, big mistake, don't do that unless you're prepared to see his severed head being held up. I almost barfed. I can't handle shit like that.
I can't watch the videos but I can look at the pictures. I can't watch scary movies either. But I can watch true crime documentaries. Makes no sense. 99% of the pictures don't bother me.
Of course I just googled. That was rough. Then I read the story.
There's NO effing way I could ever watch that video. The images alone are enough to fuck with my head. I think videos make it much more "real" for some reason. Pictures I can maybe tell myself it's fake or altered somehow. No doing that with a video. augh.

Nick Berg was one of the first videos I saw online that stuck with me. Which of course meant that I had to show it to everyone else so I wouldn't be the only one bugged out by it. I think if I watched it today, I wouldn't be as disturbed. Internet desensitization.
The video that does bother me is the Great White concert fire. Look it up if you haven't seen it. Since watching that I always look for fire exits when I go out to a public place and get even more edgy in crowds.

Unacceptable. Hurry, quit.I haven't had a paying job in nearly 3 1/2 years. The charity I volunteer for is seriously short staffed and have asked me to work full time temporarily for pay. My first thought was "shit I'm going to miss the beginning of the trial every day!"
