it has been said that the room was torn apart. So I assume she accidentally tossed it in the washer with the laundry. And then became frantic when looking for it, tearing the place apart. However, she didn't have too much time to spend as the roommate was returning soon and she needed to get out of there.

at least she was smart enough to try to delete the pictures before losing the camera

Yeah, I always thought she shot him first, then the gun jammed so she got a knife. Mainly because she said during the 48 Hours episode that the "masked intruder's" gun jammed, so I thought she was mixing fact with fiction. Also, it would explain how she overpowered him.

yep and that what makes me nervous about her getting off - every thing i've read is that the prosecutor says since he was dead b4 the gunshot - that what makes the extreme cruetly need for murder 1 - if the jury doesn't believe the experts and thinks this, it can blow the entire prosecutors case - it can lead to the shot was first and he kept coming and she stabbed outta defense - either self defense - crime of passion - it was just a crazy moment and i killed him, etc - doesn't meet the requirements of murder 1 or felony murder and she can be set free

Yeah I think she wanted him to FEEL every stab, which is why she stabbed so much and then shot.

This. She was cold blooded and stabbing someone like that and slitting their throat is fucking personal. She's like the Mafia dude Iceman, except she sucks at not getting caught. There is that concern of the pretty white woman that can play meek and innocent and get off. Allll the evidence is not in Jodi's favor. I think she won't get "off" as in free, but if they don't find that she went above and beyond in a cruel manner then she will get life. All of that burden of proof and whatever.
