That's what I was thinking. He coughed up blood after the initial attack and while she started to wildly come after him from behind as he stood at the sink, possibly turned and received the defensive wounds and ran down the hallway. I was thinking the sink was directly across from the shower, it shows it not to be but I couldn't imagine it being that far of a trip.

I don't think the crime happened in the order that investigators are saying. IMO, this investigation was a clusterfuck. If you look at this crime reenactment that the state is going by, it's not logistically possible. There's no way it happened this way.

He had to have been at the sink coughing blood from stab wounds, because if she dragged him to the bathroom as they allege, there would be no spatter at the back of the sink. He wouldn't have been standing.

I can't figure out where they are going with that. What difference does it make to the court if it is his foot or a puddle of blood. It was brutal and she did it.

I'm not quite sure. But for some reason when I have a cigarette I get moments of clarity about this case so I might have one and then have an answer.

Awesome picture! I seriously haven't seen the bathroom "cleaned up" so this makes more sense. While it's not directly in front of him, it's not that far of a distance for him to probably stagger over to the sink.

That reenactment is showing the last stop at the bathroom sink with her dragging him. And then shooting him in the head. Get the fuck outta here. Are they that stupid?

HLN dropped the ball on that one. They imply that it's the gunshot wound that caused the gore at the sink in that video. But you are right, there's no way he is probably even alive at the moment (at least for his sake I hope not). The most horrific thing is when they said he was cut at or below the windpipe which would make him unable to even scream. Ughughugh.

Well, the thing is, he may be a big guy but he probably wasn't expecting to be blitzed, plus he was all naked and vulnerable, and she was crazed. Moms do crazy shit all the time that defies science just because they get an emotional overload, like lift cars to save their kids.

have the had a blood spatter expert yet - my internet was down on thurs - and can they tell which blood from which wounds based on color or is that just on tv... plus it sounded like a few of travis' friends might have walked thru a lot of blood evidence???

See at first I was thinking that it was part of a sheet she was dragging him on. Wasn't that why there was stuff in the wash? I'm not sure where I got that from.

You can definitely make out the seam that looks like the bottom of a pair of sweatpants, but yeah, there is a foot somewhere but that might not be it.

I think he looks cute here. Like all young and goofy or something, I tried to get a bigger picture but HLN wasn't helping me. I keep seeing it though and it makes me feel bad.

There wasn't much in the way of "oh he was here" or "he was drug down this" side etc. Just educated guesses. Have to be careful what she says or it could be a request for a mistrial. There was a lot of water interference with the blood causing issues on how it would normally be classified. But he had to be shot last, (Goes against what most thought because the bullet casing was on top of a good size blood pool and there was no blood on the top of the casing. It couldn't have been kicked there because it would have gone thru blood and therefore been bloody all over. But it was clean on top.

I thought she was of no help at all. Everything she said has already been said by the untrained eye. I thought she was going to give us something with a wow factor like most of them do.
