This breaks my heart, especially the idea ofLuk adopting a kitten, hoping that this would give him a reason to live.

Makes me want to wrap him up in my arms and hug him until the pain goes away.

I’m grateful that Luk make sure that his little kitten would be found and taken care of even after he realized that it wasn’t enough to keep him going.

I hope he’s in a better place today.

The desire to live is one of the strongest humanity has, right up there with protecting your children.

To be in so much pain that your will to live is subsumed… that’s so much.

Those whose last living moments are spent in that kind of agony deserve a gentle place in the afterlife where they can truly rest.

Where they can feel safe, and feel how it is to exist without that shadow following every step you take.
