seeing the subway like that brought back memories, i was so little, looking up to people. I remember there were "punk rockers" on the train leaning against the door, and i was looking up at them, with their pink mohawks and leather jackets, and my mom squeezed my hand, in spanish said "do not stare" - i remember thinking, if they didnt want me to look at them, they wouldnt be so colorful and different.

i would stare at graffiti, i thought it was awesome and beautiful, i would read it and try to make sense of it.
theres no grafiti or hardly any on trains anymore. def not something you see anymore.
