Yeah, I don't find that particularly funny, just mean.
"...Jeffrey Dahmer... actually confessed and accepted his punishment. Had real remorse for the sick things he did. It's pretty bad when Jeffrey Dahmer is a better person than you are." ~Justice11 (re: Jodi Arias)
It just seemed like a hot debate weather it's funny this chick was maimed.. I thought I would just share.
Personally, I don't find it funny as much as I find it obviously could have been prevented. I tend to agree with Bowie that she had to be distracted by something.
Oh yeah, I still think she had to be texting.
She must have been drunk, cant wait to see photos myself.
i know this is old, and this picture was from august, but i was wondering about her so here -

She wrote a book.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...=feeds-newsxml
She writes: ‘I remember the sky was black; we were on the dark side of the plane.
‘It was December 3, 2011, and after that split second, I remember absolutely nothing.'
The memoir includes chapters by Lauren’s family, including her mother Cheryl who was among the first on the scene.
In her dramatic account she describes the moment when she realized something was terribly wrong.
Cheryl writes that as the paramedics were packing Lauren into the stretcher, she asked: ‘Why is my hand white?’ Lauren asked loudly through the screams. ‘I can’t see it! I can’t see it!’ Her shirt was over her hand’.
They did come to a settlement for more than $200k.

Oh lord a book? Does she mention if she was texting?
It sounds like they were dropping her off and picking up another passenger which is why the propeller was still on. The pilot even directed her the other way to stay away from the front of the plane with his arm and she walked out and directly into the propeller.
Yeah. Sure sounds like it was the fault of the plane operator.
